So I'm pretty pissed at my group. They totally smoked the villain I made before he was able to carry out half of his plan, and they hate him even though I gave him all this cool armour, weapons, and magic items. I think I'm gonna redo the scenario, but railroad 'em and then destroy the whole world so they can't adventure there anymore.

So, a little early today but every minute counts right? Not sure how much we’ll get in but it should be fun, questions and comments welcome like always. Slimmed down the rules a little bit since we don’t use them that much, we’ll see what happens.

Your name is William and you are a mercenary. At the moment you’re in a dim place where you can’t quite move yet and don’t want to wake up, but are mildly aware and can feel things about you. You’re pretty sure that Bellona is behind you from the way an arm is around you and some soft things are pressing into your back. Currently you feel rather…

Probably the last one (here at least), but there's still plenty of time to share our interests and OC with our dates!

The event supposedly starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday. The /qa/ Nexus Thread is an utter mess (and that's killed most of the momentum in general) and they have yet to decide on where the party is so our three boards will be doing it and spreading the word to other boards except the main /qa/ thread. Since the original admins of the test rooms haven't really been around in the IRC we'll make a new room and appoint new mods unless they show back up. People were leaning toward dubtrack.

When preparations for the room are done tonight it'll be posted here and in the Diaspora Thread for a soundcheck, preparty, whatever. If anyone has any other ideas, suggestions, or concerns please bring them up.

"You should be careful," you advise Elia, "We don't know what these crystals even are, in truth."
"They're pretty and shine with light. What's to question?" shrugs Elia, not even breaking his stride.
"You felt that place as much as I did. That fish-woman that gave us these wasn't normal and stones don't shine like fire. They could be dangerous for all we know!"
"If she meant us harm, brother, she had you in her hands," he sighs, "You're worrying too much. They're a good gift and I mean to put mine to use!"
"Would you listen to me?!" you snarl in frustration, laying a hand on Elia's shoulder and spinning him around to look at you. "I don't know what it is, but the crystals feel dangerous to me! I'm begging you brother, be careful!"
Elia frowns and smacks your hand away. "She gave us one apiece, brother! If you want to be careful and hoard yours in some hole in the ground then fine, they're yours to do that, but I will use mine as I wish!" So saying, he turns on his heel and stalks ahead of you, clearly intent on ending the conversation.

Once you return to the camp, it is very nearly summer. Elia immediately sets to work chipping the crystals from his stone, working in secrecy as he fashions them into a fine gift. On the first day of summer, he presents Galit with a finely-worked necklace. Clearly his time helping you with the slings has paid off. He has dyed the string with flowers and berries to make it red as new blood and the crystals, shining faintly blue, hang in a cluster like a pinecone in the hollow between Galit's breasts. She's instantly taken by the gift and although nothing has been officially said yet, she stays by Elia's side from then on, causing your friend to walk taller than he ever has, telling the story of how you and he snatched the crystals from under the claws of a monster to anyone who will listen!

We are proud to announce that the game is finally FINISHED all PDF files are free and ready to be sent out.

A small group of us have been slaving over creating a fun and fully functional Dungeons and Dragons style game set in the Mass Effect universe.
We have set it about 11 years before the first Mass Effect, allowing players to forge their own stories, but it is also possible to role play the entire game story if you so choose.
We started this project about a month ago, we are based out of Maryland and there are only 3 of us, but we love this game so much we wanted to create something fun and new to help not only us but our fellow fans to survive until the next game and beyond.

We have titled it Dawn of Shadows and Spectres or DSS for short.
There are other Mass Effect tabletop games, (I think there is one complete version out there) However, we have played them, and found a great many holes in them. Our game strives to be as complete and thorough as possible, but we will need your feedback to keep improving it. If this takes off, we will happily make expansions based on your recommendations.
While this will be our rough draft it is intended to be a living document, we included out contact email in there ([email protected]) so you can give us feedback and share your stories.

This is extensive, we wanted to include as much content as we could think of, all the guns, armor, upgrades, and a large number of ships are included with all the information you need to pick up and play as well as a custom created character sheet to help guide you through this process.
