Is Florida Man a champion of Chaos Undivided?
>>43733352
There's pretty much nothing Florida man can't do
>>43733352
i dont want to see Kentucky Man
>>43733352
In this mugshot, Florida Man is euphoric, not because of any False Gods blessing, but because he is intoxicated by his own insanity.
Florida Man Florida Man's for the sake of Florida Man, and Florida Man alone.
These two are canonically the two most powerful Space Marine groups as is evident by fluff giving both a lot of achievements. Which of these two would come out on top if the best/most power incarnations of both went against each other?
>>43733349
Luna Wolves. Horus was a better commander than Girlyman when actually in battle, so unless we're adding in logistical concerns/post battle concerns I'm giving it to them.
>>43733349
Alpha Legion.
>>43733349
Not 100% sure but I thought Ultramarines were one of the largest Legions preheresy.
Hey /tg/, help me spice up this relatively dry elevator pitch
It's a weird wastelands setting, and the players want to find the last pureblood human. The reason they want to do this is to shut down an ancient war machine that only responds to humans. All current examples of wasteland humans are too heavily mutated to register.
The players are cinnamon brown elf women and the "last" human is a boy.
What type of PCs are they? All anthro animals like in Gamma World?
What is the robot guarding?
>>43733116
either gamma world mutants or robuts.
And I had originally thought the warbot was just sort of rampaging, the guarding angle might be cool.
What's your opinion on enemies with giant, glaring weak spots? For example, in (pic) the robot has a giant symbol on the top of it that allows for a 1-hit kill
>>43732856
yeah but isn't it implied that all of xana's monsters are impervious to everything except the weak spot hits
>>43732856
Good for video games, can be okay in table top, so long as it's inventive.
>>43732876
Xana's monster were plot device, so to kill them you need to hit them as many time as the plot need you to hit them.
So my DM has a pathfinder mythic game going on and I am the cleric; took the spell mythic shatter. the next day the DM asks me about how did i bypass hardness on a magic greatsword i shattered. I showed to him the descriptor that says magic objects are damaged as if they were a crystalline creature and only get fort save for half. The next thing i know he rules that magic items both get a will save to negate outright and the fort save for half AND then hardness. He also ruled that crystalline creatures get both saves as well. i feel that this ruling is completely bullshit, outside of dm has final say, but if there is anything that says something can get two saves in one standard or a better descriptor for crystalline creatures. i certainly would like the reference location cause I can't find it.
>>43732777
No. GM rules and that is final. Deal with it.
>>43732794
it's more like the dm got pissy at me
>>43732962
suggest switching to E6, so you can feel epic, while keeping the bullshit to a level your DM can deal with.
So you've lost your hand? Why not replace it with a sword?
Post your weaponized limbs here /tg/
>>43732443
>>43732517
>>43732443
The best hand replacement is a giant iron FIST.
There is nothing superior to just punching the shit out of everything with your giant fists

Reposting a reworked version of this to get the ball rolling.
I have been meditating on it for a total of 10 hours and I still can't think of an evergreen keyword for UB.
>>43732397
Flying.
On a scale of 0-10, with a Zero being not knowing how the game works and a Ten being a Hall of Famer, how would you rate your own skill at MTG?
Can you substantiate that claim?I'm most curious as to why people think they're good or bad, and what qualifies someone as "good".
I'd give myself about a six. I'm better than strictly average, I play FNM and other such tourneys pretty regular and place pretty well in those games.
But I don't have that Spike need to win that is required to be a really good player. Instead I'm a massive Johnny and constantly brew janky nonsense that still gets me through because I build against my local meta.
I'm the fucking shithead playing Owling Mine at the modern event but still going 3-1. I'm the fuckwit playing Zada Arcbond in standard and calling the judge to help me do maths.
As to substantiating that? I have top8'd a couple of pptq's and top16'd a wmcq and if I gave you my name you could probably look me up, but I see no reason to.
>>43731903
Right now I'd give myself a 7, I'm good enough to notice and capitalize on others mistake but I'm held back because I don't want to spend the money and time necessary to homebrew and test every set.
A 5?
I've won a few FNMs, and even went undefeated at my last prerelease.
But, I don't know how to draft, even standard meta is beyond me, and I can't pilot any of the more complicated decks.
I am, however, pretty good at multiplayer, especially chaos variants. I'm really good at politics, so I routinely beat my semi-pro friends...
Maybe 5.5? 5.3?
Okay fa/tg/uys, now that the dust had long settled, what is the verdict on this thing?
>Asthetics
>game usefullness
Im revamping my IG for the coming damocles sup and i noticed these are cheaper than chimeras and have better dakka. Wat do?
I think they're cute.
Chim's got better dakka though.
>Aesthetics
As long as they're converted to have wheels instead of tracks, they look perfectly fine, even nice. Your specific example looks even better than ones I've seen before.
>Game usefulness
I don't actually play, sorry.
>>43731750
Aesthetics are meh, now that the treads are gone its just kinda generic humvee lookalike.
Game usefulness is average. they're more useful to drive and shoot from the edge of the maps than actually deliver troops.
>better dakka
But chimeras have a multilaser and a heavy bolter? taurox just have good range.
Are people still wanting to continue the Robot Vault Quest that started yesterday? Does anyone know where based OP went?
I need to know what Mr. Overseer and The Purifier do next.
>>43731611
O.P yesterday said he may or may not continue just check and see if thread appears in 24 hours from yesterday. (its almost been 24 hours)
If the Qm is reading this thread, I'm still down to play in it. I like where we were taking it.
It would be cool to be ro-bros of the wasteland.
>>43731611
YES
What is your process of worldbuilding? Specially with a group of people. any tips?
Mine is typically impossible to predict. Typically I have one small idea, and then it spirals into a whole nation, race, or God.
>>43731591
I work pretty much exclusively by myself, sometimes discuss stuff with the missus, but she's better at characters than worlds.
What I do is I build around a central concept.
For instance, a setting where magic works exclusively around bargaining and binding of millions of demons that live invisibly around us. This quickly evolved into a stone age setting where these demons exist in place of gods, and humanity flourishes in a strange world of giant creatures.
Or a setting in which magic is wholly dependent upon colossal crystals that can't be even chipped at or moved, and a wizard needs to be touching the crystal in order to cast magic. Suddenly a setting pops up around it, cities are centred about these vast crystals and wizards live as astrally projected spirits while bound to the crystals. A thriving exploratory economy that seeks to find new crystals, boom towns around crystals deposits.
Honestly, just find a concept that seems neat and go for it. I generally tie it into magic and cosmology because I'm a huge wizard faggot, but you can work it around reincarnation or lines of noble succession.
>>43731591
Our group created a world by playing First Light last summer. I'm hoping to run a campaign in it after the holiday season.
First light is a game created by a fa/tg/uy where the players rp Gods. It's pretty fun in itself, but can also generate some cool settings.
Who is your character and what is their love life like?
Warforged on a homebrewed sorcerer class, with commitment issues, and a lot of money.
My primary love interest is a Dullahn who's old master I killed for reasons.
We play this game where I refuse to admit we have a relationship, and I run away whenever there is even a hint of romance in the air.
Then she chases me down, and rapes me while I scream and try to desperately escape.
I also had a brief thing with another character, a human girl who tagged along with me. I didn't realize she had a thing for me until I had to kill her to prevent a town from being destroyed by the plauge she had been infected with. Her last words were "I love you".
So normal love stuff I guess.
>>43731659
>Then she chases me down, and rapes me while I scream and try to desperately escape.
Why did your warforged have a dick.
>>43731691
By DM ruling yes, I was more of a cyborg than a full fledge warforged.
I'm very partial to the DF-only-more-so-in-space spreadsheet game Aurora. It's made by a megasperg in order to provide believable battles for his numbercrunchy fiction, and it's basically a massive spreadsheet pretending to be a game.
Perfect /tg/ fodder, in other words!
The idea goes like this. It'd be something like a Builder Quest, with people taking the roles of the High Command of the starting race. You lot make the decisions about what to do next, design techs and so on (those who know the game will have a big advantage here) and my part will mainly be to SpaceMaster up interesting shit and do the tedious bit, ie actually cranking the game along and reporting back the results to you (as your characters back on the homeworld).
I'm imagining it as being somewhere between a Quest/Builder thread and a Community Game type of thread (only with waaaaaay more input than is usual for that sort of thing).
Does this sound fun? Anal-retentive grognard space sim shit with someone else doing the donkey work, plus added /tg/ goodness?
This sounds awsome.
This sounds really cool actually.

How often have your players bitched about enemies that fight intelligently as opposed to throwing themselves at them and simply attacking?
In Apocalypse World what's the difference between Going Aggro and Seize By Force? I have such a hard time telling them apart.
>>43731219
Never, they know I treat everything like its actual intelligence
Did they finally do it?
Did they finally kill magic?
