You find yourself sitting, alone, at the bar.

It wasn't so long ago that Lucy – Lucifer, in the guise of a perky young girl – sat in the stool next to where you currently sit, offering you the chance of more work. Bloody work, you're sure. You turned her down, and she left with apparent good humour, but you're not quite convinced. It bothered you enough that, when the time came to take a seat, you didn't even touch the one she had used. It's been a hell of a day – and it's not even close to being over yet.

Standing behind the bar, still looking far from comfortable, Mister Black meticulously polishes a single glass. He wipes it with a cloth, holds it up to the light for a second and then goes right back to wiping it. There's something hypnotic about watching it, so much so that you're almost disappointed when he finally puts the glass away. Sighing, you turn your gaze, instead, to the rows of bottles behind the bar.

Startling you from your thoughts, Cassandra plops down on the stool next to you. Approaching with utter discretion, Mister Black places a pair of glasses in front of you – one of water, the other of wine – and then vanishes.

So a bad movie podcast recent did a guest spot on a roll playing podcast. Sadly I'm not really getting into the actually role playing podcast itself. Still I did enjoy it when it was done by the people I liked. Are there any fun role playing podcasts?

Mesut grows quiet, frowning and staring deep into the fire, as he chews his lip. Your argument was persuasive, but you're sure he has his own agenda to push as chief too - it was part of the reason you don't trust him with the power that would come from leading everyone. Finally, the hunter sighs.
"If you think you can pull it off Trym, then I won't stop you trying. I still don't think you'll get many following you. You're good at leading people's hearts, cousin, but there's more to being a chief than that. If this all comes down around your ears, I'll try to keep from saying 'I told you so.' But until then, if you need my family's help making this tribe of yours, feel free to ask it." His eyes narrows and Mesut squints at you, "Although I have to wonder why it is that you want so badly to be the leader. You are not the only one with suspicions, cousin."
It doesn't take long for him to leave after that. Beren slips her hand over your shoulder and you reach up to squeeze it. Mesut's been a long worry of the tribe your building, but for now, it seems he is content to sit and wait.

It is now Early Winter.

You are Tsukuda Ryouta, a Shinigami of the 12th Division holding the unique position of an investigator of abnormal occurrences.

You've learned several important things. The name of the human Kido user you're searching for in Germany is apparently 'Shinji'. As unique as that name is for the locale, it might not be enough to find him with that alone. Fortunately, that's not all that you've discovered.

You now have more than enough reason to look into the Kramer family, a family that owns a pharmaceutical company that has benefitted from the recent 'misfortune' of a rival business - a streak of convenient bad luck that you have reason to believe was actually organized, through Hollow attacks, by the human you're looking for. This Shinji could be a member of that family, or somehow otherwise related to them, trying to bolster the business by removing competition. If that was the intention, it seems to have worked.

You leave the house of the suspect you've gotten that information from. Hisakawa Yasu was not willing to cooperate, but you've found and figured out a lot on your own even without his assistance. Standing up on a lamppost alongside your Shinigami partner, Kirino Moeka, you're trying to figure out what to do next. The red haired girl looks a little disgruntled, so you ask her if something is wrong. From what you understand, she used to be on friendly terms with that old man.

She shakes her head. "Huh? Don't worry about it, Ryouta-kun. Not like I was best friends with the guy, I just thought he was nice. If I knew that old guy was hiding so much stuff about this, I'd have gotten it out of him myself, whatever it took." The girl squats down and stares off in the direction of the Hisakawa house. Even after saying that, she still looks conflicted.

"You know..." She finally speaks up after a while. "He mentioned having grandchildren to me before. That Shinji guy could be his grandkid."

The fluff states that the Eldar DNA is made of 3 elixes instead of the regular human 2 elixes DNA. You may think that triple elix DNA is pseudoscience bullshit (like: "hurr durr, let's give the Eldars an other DNA elix, moar is better") but it actually exists and it's called DNA triplex and it is formed with non conventional DNA base pairing. It is thought to have a role in genomic regulation and some reserches are thinking to use it in genetic engineering. This particular DNA structure isn't as stable as the 2 elixes at physiologic pH (~7) but it is more stable at lower (more acid) levels of pH, suggesting that Eldar blood might be acid, or at least more acid then human blood. What do you think about this, /tg/?

You are a Cave Hydra, big and mighty. However, you're currently stalking someone who might question that authority.

The Mammoth is humongous, easily topping you in size, both width and height, even with your necks extended to the maximum, its legs are as thick as the base of your neck and its thickly haired hide may as well be un-biteable. But you can see how well fed it is, the fat, muscles, organs, meat, all of it might not be as tasty as crab meat, but you know it will be very, very nutritious.

Your only real advantages are the facts that you're so far hidden in bushes and behind it as it walks across a plain, but if you fail the first strike, or let it know that you're here, the humongous tusks will most likely end up deep within you, if you fail to avoid them.
