Introduced the wife to Dungeon Run today, as usual she got annoyed at herself for not picking up the rules instantly (her little trait apparently) but after I had answered her many questions and correcting her on how it should be played, we settled in and she picked it up on the second run through.... and really took to heart the back stabbing element of it.

I played zombicide again. This time we were prepared and we did the second level and it was much easier than our attempt at the first one.

I'm currently build an RU Prowess deck; just waiting on a few cards to come in the mail. I've had terrible luck with non-basic land pulls (Only really have the painlands from Origins) so I've been nervous about trying out a three color deck.

I was thinking about side boarding Devour in Flames just in case an opponent actually runs a few of the beefy flyers out there.

African vampires don't have any skin. Its partly why they thirst for blood. European Vampires are actually among the most human appearing of the world's mythological vampires. Asia has a number of vampire kinds and the America's vampires if I recall correctly are noted for their shortness and cunning. Probably need to double check that though my native american vampire lore is even worse then my asian one.

Also my internet has indeed been fixed.

The new addition to your crew, Cardinal, is staring directly at you, somehow locking with your eyes despite two viewports in between. You can feel his energy, his excitement, his adoration of you and your words through his impassive posture.

You quickly look away from your brother, the comrade from your birthing cycle, and turn back towards your troopers.

"Fight well, my brothers," You continue. "For Mandalore protects."

"Sir yes sir!" The platoon of men respond as one, and you hear Cardinal joining suit.

"Alright 6th platoon," You return to your Officer voice. "Mount up!"

An hour ago you set out from Shelter Base, troopers riding inside of your walker while Old Man's TX-130 stayed close, and you still have another hour to go. Your path to the city of Termat took you from the plains up and over the rolling hills that eventually leads to the pirate highlands.

Now you are walking through the sparse wood south of Termat, all around you there is evidence of battles long past. The trees are young and few and far between while the remains of the older forest lay half shattered across the muddy hillsides. The light of the clear day allows you to easily spot the wreckages of obsolete speeders, both Republic surplus walkers and a couple of Separatist tanks, and even the blasted remains of star fighters of the likes you have never seen before.

Phi whistles in front of you. "Headhunters? They were using those old things? I wouldn't wish for even Grievous to be caught flying in one of those death traps, no matter of how much of a monster he is." This was the first time any of your crew had spoken during the entire trek.

Xtreme giggles over the comm channel. "You scared of the metal lizard man, Phi?"

"You know how danger-" Phi tries to protest before being interrupted.

"Finally, you suicidal, mentally deficient psychopath!" Twitch interjects excitedly. "So you have finally seen the truth? The Separatist army is led by lizard men!"

"And Phi is scared of a tiny little lizard in a big metal suit." Xtreme raises his voice to a high pitch, much like the ones some of the female padawans used when speaking to your young brothers back on Kamino.

"Oh come on X-"

"No, dammit you nut, the Grievous isn't the only liz-"

"-know how many Jedi Grievous had killed! There's no way-"

"Na na boo boo, Phi's a little scaredy poo-"

"Hey." A new voice says.

"Yes, rookie?" Phi responds eagerly, blatantly ignoring Xtreme's continued childish coos over comms, who has now devolved to making baby noises of various different species.

"What do you mean," Cardinal pauses before finishing his question. "Lizard people are in control of the Separatists?"

Phi groans. "Oh, don't get him starte-"

"Finally, a shiny with a good head on their shoulders!" Twitch declares. "Now listen close, shiny, what I'm about to tell you is a secret kept from the entire Senate, and even Chancellor himself."

"Come on Twitch," Phi says. "Do you have to scare the kid with your fantasies?"

"It is not a fantasy you obsessive womanizer," Twitch snaps. You cannot help but be confused at the unknown term. Womanizer? "I have proof. I know a guy who knows a guy who stole the information from the Separatist spy who stole it from the previous Chancellor's personal possessions. Only absolute lunatics would disbelief the things I now know, and all of you have proven yourselves as absolute nutjobs! Dammit, X, stop crying over comms!"

Xtreme's childish cries shift to a high pitch sound, "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" A shock of fright jolts through your frame as the instinctual image of an unknown but powerful beast declaring its battlecry while descending upon you is overwhelming for a brief moment.

Xtreme falls silent.

Twitch begins to murmur angry yet incoherent statement, though you believe he is cursing Xtreme's entire genetic code. In front of you Phi's boy is shaking in silent laughter. He must have turned off his microphone.

"Uhm," Cardinal says. "Lieutenant, should I know about this?"

"Lieutenant, if you are at all concerned for our livelihoods," Twitch's tone is cold. "You will listen and utilize this information for future combat opera-"

"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Xtreme cuts in.

"OH YOU BLOODY FOOL I WILL CLIMB UP THERE AND STRANGLE YOU MYSELF!" Twitch yells.

Jackpot and Crusader are notably silent.

With the demonstration finished and all the top echelon of bureaucrats and so forth gone, you have Ares and the rest of the Facility at your disposal. While you don't exactly have any kind of lesson plan for Ares, as you figured most of his training would be military, that doesn't prevent you from talking with him.

And of course you still have Pandora to look forward to. You informed her you would be late to your usual meeting with her, so she knows to not expect you right away, which means you can take your time for now or head there right away once you've shooed all the other researchers and R&D staff out of the restricted area.

Maggie rode beside you and Lucia behind. The red haired girl seemed troubled to look upon the walls of the Holy City, and you considered her pinched mouth expression from the corner of your eye. Concern for Hugo, or her own sin from fleeing this city in days past? She had been a novice of the Church of St Anne before giving that up to chase worldly things.

Certainly your own goal was liberating your half-brother. His rashness having lead to a prison cell.

Other armed men were about. Knights of the holy brotherhoods, in white and black and green, but others were noble pilgrims. Perhaps the pious looking for redemption, perhaps adventurers seeking glory in your brother's upcoming campaign. Noble women were with them, finely veiled and courtly Franks in silk, some riding, others hidden behind the curtains of palanquins born by squat and muscular slaves. Some of these noblemen on seeing you smiled, bowed their heads.

It was ever that you attracted the smiles of men, and those smiles had grown wider and more lustful in recent months. You were growing a little taller, your body filling. Truth it left you feeling awkward, your body not feeling your own half the time, but you tried to bear these changes with grace.

The soldiers that guarded you, ten men on foot five to either side, sang a song in Frankish as they marched. Unlike your brothers you had learned the French tongues quickly. It had a cant to it that you enjoyed, and you soon found yourself singing along. Language came easily to you, like music. Maggie had even taught you a little of her native Gaelic. A strange alien tongue that spoke of poetic barbarism.

The road was crowded, but your man Bayard pushed forth - 'Make way for Lady Ramla!' he belted, but it did not clear a path. The river of traffic soon choked your line, and you felt yourself separated by peasants on foot, looking over their heads to your fellow horse born companions.

Suddenly a hand reached out. A grubby common paw that clutched your ankle. You gave a jolt, sitting high in your saddle. The desperate eyes of a common woman staring up at you from beneath a canvas hood, clutching a bundle. Bayard rounded, forced his way to your side.

"Please," the woman lifted up her bundle, "Please help us into the city."

She was one of a million desperate things, camped out and awaiting entry to the great city, looking for some kind of absolution behind its walls. That she looked to you as if you were same kind of saviour made your belly tighten, struck you as queer and unnatural.

"Remove your hand," Bayard said.

The Village Hidden in the Cloud is not far from the ocean, and your group arrives within the day. It's getting dark by the time you pass the gates, so the Raikage leads you all to hotel and sets things up for you.

"As much as I loathe to admit it, I owe you all one." the Raikage tells you. "You can all stay here and rest for a couple of days, then leave with the delegation that the Hokage sent along with Yugito. I'm sure you all could use a rest after those fights, anyway. I do want the Jonin from each village to come to my office some time tomorrow so we can talk things over more, but take it easy otherwise."

With that, the Raikage and B take their leave. Nearly every one of you is eager to get to sleep, several of you opting to skip eating entirely, while the others just grab something real quick before retiring to their rooms. Your group is split up into four, you sharing a room with Akatsuchi. As soon as he gets in his bed Akatsuchi drifts off, snoring up a storm. Normally you'd be irritated, but by that time, you're far too exhausted to care and fall asleep anyway.

You wake up the next morning feeling quite good. Your body is still a bit sore from the fight yesterday, but otherwise you're fine.

"Morning, Kon." Akatsuchi greets you. "The hotel will have breakfast served downstairs in a bit. Care to join me?"
