Minmaxing is fine if all the player are experienced with an experienced DM and that is how they enjoy the game by demonstrating mastery of the system.

If there are many inexperienced players in the party, especially if the DM is inexperienced, then it should be kept to a minimum. Minmaxed players can easily take over a game.

First Question: Why are Trollkin so cute?

Better Question: A shop near me if have a sale on it's on Trollbloods stuff. What would better to get? The new Kriel Warriors box set (Comes with 10 warriors, plus 2 of those pillar throwing guys) or a box 3 Long Riders (I already have one from a blister pack, so I would need one more to make a full set.)

Well it's up to you what you would use more. The kriel warriors are good, but with the warder nerf the long riders may see more play as the hard hitting unit.

The Forgotten Realms is a clusterfuck.
The DMG p much outright states to use the bits and pieces that make your game fun.
And the Pantheon is not something that will make or break a game.

Maybe they're thinking like that scene in the Mummy where the guy just keeps going through holy symbols until something works

But as for your question most people just don't give a shit about alignments

Forgot to say. As for the individuals themselves, just have the romancer show up or spend time with the romancee and hopefully try to show chemistry between them. Don't take over any current plot points, just have it build in the background. Or in the foreground if everyone at the table is cool with it. Point I'm stumbling around is don't force it and let it develop on its own.

Looks good to me. See if your LFGS lets you run some proxies for legacy, most do which will make it a lot easier to play and try out stuff. Was surprised by the courser, I personally prefer oracle of mul daya.

At an FNM Nic Fit will serve you just fine. That's a list from before Dig Through Time got banned, so it's a little out of date. Its good against aggro, alright against control, but combo is going to be tough.

I was thinking about combo as well, since i dont have much legacy experience, im under the assumption that every deck is gonna try and go off on turn 2. For the sideboard against combo i was definitely thinking about thoughtseize and mindbreak trap. Thoughts on that?

If he can roll up his arm with ease, you can make him toss things like a trebuchet.
If you're looking for more close range fighting though, you could use his arms like flails. Make a moveset around spinning things like wheels and windmills.

Would a Typhon backed up by melee-oriented units do the trick? Thinking about countering deathstars with the Dreadhammer pie plate and a unit of 10 Dark Furies.

Looked like in all ways to me.

I remember thinking how it might have been interesting as a story in the fluff. But copying then like that for the game was a slap to the face. Then they had to make better phalanx boarders too. The storms are the only really original idea. I get girly liked to improve things but leave that to the fluff, not the game

Is anyone else sitting on their BaC boxes and waiting for the Weekender before picking a Legion? I'm pretty sure I want to do Imperial Fists, but if Alpharius gets a badass model...Alpha Legion might move to the front of the list. Same with the rules for BA or DA.
