You and Lynna enter slowly, the woman still somewhat shaken from the earlier event, but pressing on with determination. As you enter... well, your initially struck my the sheer majesty of the place. Well, the shadow of what majesty it had. The entrance has some clear damage done to it, and recently. Some statues and murals look like they were attacked by a wild animal, while others seem relatively intact. Even with the damage, though, the place is beautiful. A flowing stream passes in front of you and Lynna, cutting the entrance room in two halves, the floor around it given beautiful marble tiles with intricate designs.

And yet in spite of all this, there's something... empty about the place. Flowing water the only sound you hear echoing a loneliness about the place. The broken statues warning you of monsters lurking within. And the clouds outside blocking the little light that shines through. There's a couple doors ahead, seem to lead into a larger area.

Don't know the setting but I think I have a nice balance of not getting in trouble and power.

Took Ronin as Ninja Slayer is a good capstone and Light Footed Metal Man is pretty great. Increase in speed and agility the more armour I'm wearing is great, means I can get some big clunkyass armour and it'd be fine. Speedster hijinks in power armour and so on.

Ninja Slayer makes it more difficult for people to use special abilities and sneak up on me and adds another danger sense to the pile.

Gennosuke’s Doujutsu lets me turn the aggression of those attacking me back on themself which is ridiculously useful when dealing with people more physically powerful than me. Doesn't happen often but in Superhero settings this potentially gets pretty great. The sort of thing you don't use often but it saves you whenever you do.

Drawbacks mean I'm totally unsubtle and am needlessly boastful. With my ridiculous armoured agility and my ability to force fair fights out of dirty fighters this shouldn't matter that much. Will probably set myself up as some sort of big-headed warlord Brian Blessed type. May actually be fun.

if i cast a spoils of the vault, do i have the right to concede the game in between revealing cards from my library?
f e: i cast spoils naming ad nauseam, while i reveal cards from top i get to reveal my lightnin storm/lab maniac, can i concede even if the spoils is still searching for angel's grace to prevent my opponent from seing my whole deck?

Also it depends. I personally don't allow it in any of my games. If you want to play against each other, we'll play a different game, but right now we're playing a co-operative storytelling game. So CO-OPERATE.

Yeah so I killed my fellow Rogue because he was sort of annoying and I thought we had to kill him to do a resurrection magic thing which it turns out we didn't. he's pretty mad and wants to kill us all , but he's dead, but we are planning on resurrecting him.

So because of reasons my group's halfling ranger now has a human sized puppet. one which he'll be able to pilot like a mech for 1 hour/day, i do have some ideas as to the functions but suggestions would be welcome

Is gelatinous cube a bad idea for a 1st level party? They have to explore sewers to get to the first dungeon and I am thinking,it's dark, they won't be able to see far, and will be navigating slowly. Going to do some shit where they feel like they are being stalked then a gelatinous cube shows up when they are in a dead end. I even bought the 5e miniature for it so I can put absorbed characters inside the mini.

There are 6 of them with decently powergamed characters, I want to cut them down a size because in our other campaigns they basically breeze through encounters.

Just foreshadow stuff so you can have a believable case for a heroic rescue in case it TPKs them and you will be fine. Nothing worse that seeing that the DM is pulling punches because he overestimated the party capabilities.

To answer your question, yes, vampires can be weak - if exposed to the sun, having not fed, exposed to daemonsbane, etc. The only consistent weakness is the blood thirst and the fallout from not drinking.

Even newborn vampires are as strong as a truly mighty warrior, with keener reflexes and senses to put wolves and hawks to shame. A vampire that has had some time to grow into his or her power is going to be beyond most mortals in single combat unless they know their opponent well, came prepared, and (usually) attack from ambush.

See, that's the thing: A jumper wouldn't. A Suul'ka's "ascension" is literal ascension. As in, they're going up, into space, out of the gravity well that threatens to crush them if they get any bigger so that they can grow without limit. That's all it takes, the reason they rush their species through the singularity to get the tech they need is just because getting a kilometer-long whale into orbit and keeping it alive up there is a serious engineering feat. But for a jumper who has perks to let them fly and survive in space, they could make the ascension with no problem. As a jumper, you could just wait, and eventually you'd get to that level of power.
