I have some Steven Universe questions for Brows.

Firstly, given we now know items can be used to upgrade gem weapons, and that at least some are forged, can a gem weapon be enchanted?

Secondly, could you buy Gemstone Lore multiple times to get an array of minor powers like Rose and Steven?

Thirdly, would a Gem Power of aerokinesis on the 'local' scale of Lapis' hydrokinesis work? Air 'limbs' a la water wings and water hands included? I couldn't affect as much air as she can water, not by a long shot (no stealing all the air or anything) just do the sort of 'on screen' scale she has excluding the water pillar, just 'around me' for range.

Fourthly, can companions buy items? That there's an upgrade to the Temple Room Access to get more rooms, rather than just letting imports buy their own makes me think the answer might be no, but I don't see anything else in the jump to indicate it either way.

Follow up questions from question one: When update time rolls around is there any chance of an item import? And does it /have/ to be a melee weapon? I was thinking of getting a bow before I noticed it specified melee. Given Pearl can shoot lasers from her spear I assumed a bow would be fine. I’m just curious about these last bits, and it’s fine if you don’t want to open that can of worms, or want to stick to melee.

Just have someone who runs a poor house if you recognize that you're unable to handle such an NPC without touching yourself. Being a prostitute is unnecessary, and it sounds like half the reason you started this thread is just to try and argue that it is necessary.

Quit thinking with your dick, move past this, and focus on things that actually matter.

In general, it's okay. Many works of fantasy have characters who are prostitutes or former prostitutes. It's a common thing and can be used to show what the lower classes have to go through to feed themselves and their families.

Know your group.
If everyone's into it, a bit of magical realm isn't necessarily bad, but if you don't know your group that well or you're doing something like playing with a bunch of uptight, church-going religious folk, than it might be best to stay away from it.

There can be a middle ground too. If a player wants to solicit a prostitute, you can just say "your character goes to the back room and fucks" rather than some full on ERP thing.

4e fulfills the criterion of "at least decent", too, because proper game design went into it. Just commits the crime of being "not D&D" by virtue of not obfuscating mechanics and actually owning up to being a game.

Agreed. It's like pathfinder, 13th age, the various d20 hacks and retroclones in that it shares a lot of DNA with D&D, but it's still a separate game.
Having said that, most of those games aren't quite as good as 4e.

Fetch spends quite a bit of time bringing them to heel; they're excited to have gotten your attention and what is, to them, praise.

Kat is patient as you weave the essence of the ice into her. Your shadow pales, as though the light casting her is weaker, and exudes a faint, icy mist. You crouch down to look at her, and for once she mimics the motion, until she flexes her fingers and sinister claws extend from them, razor-thin and so cold they distort the air around them.

You catch her nestling with Nathan's shadow a lot. She leaves little murals of carefully sculpted frost on the walls for it, which it caresses gently. Nate himself can't stop blushing whenever he catches them at it.

Silence's remains are enough for quite a few talismans. You give one each to Nathan, Amy, River, Emily, Hatchet, Catherine, and Brigette. The rest you intend on handing out at Silence's wake. You did have one other thing made, a flute whose notes are cut from quiet that floats through the air. You haven't played a flute in a long time, but somehow, you keep finding excuses to practice.

Of Tatters' murder, Nine, Dirge, and Fourteen want to train as healers. Fourteen is sent up to Glen for it, protesting the whole way; Diving Shadow is having none of the young man's lip and only the threat of her carrying him up there like an errant chick finally persuades him. It's clear that the liberated levels of the Dungeon are by no means safe. At the same time, the upper levels are of lower priority to the Chain-Bearers...in theory. The further down you go, the longer and more difficult the journey up or down gets. It's already a matter of several days to get to the surface unless you have Amy nearly kill herself carrying you.

Glen can't volunteer forces, but they do volunteer to help coordinate the defenses and spare what weapons and ammunition they can.
