Technically, they learn PChem in QM and Thermal Physics.

There's a lot of cross-over in QM and thermal physics, but not much elsewhere. I also think it tends to be somewhat less practical and much deeper in physics.

It's less important the more theoretical you are, but if you work in a research lab where it's closer to engineering, then it's pretty fucking important.

People studying cryogenic and plasma shit it's important to know a lot of material science and studying the properties that make up the fluids or what have you.


Basic atomic structure and properties of gases, metals, and metalloids I'd say was top priority.
Shit like reactions and equalibria of solutions I'd say was pretty unimportant.

Genetic differences are too small among humans to qualify any sort of categorization involving "race".

This study involves the genes responsible, at least partially, for torso length, based on ethnic categorization (NOT race, as race is a meaningless and ambiguous term when applied to humans)

If that were the case, one might expect intelligent people to be more likely to be overweight, since their bodies would use energy more efficiently and therefore be more prone to storing it as fat.

I have anxiety so meditation has been a godsend for me. I don't know if I would go so far to say that it improves overall cognitive functioning but it definitely has some mental health benefits.

I think the key isn't that meditation "improves" you but it teaches you how to deal with stress. Less stress is going to have a number of benefits.

I haven't been meditating every day like I used to because school has gotten in the way. I still use the mindfulness techniques and grounding methods to reel myself in almost daily though. I have to walk to most of my classes so I often do it then and focus my attention on the present. I've calmed myself down very quickly in stressful situations too thanks to my strengthened ability to control my focus.

I have MDd and ADs gave me rash, so it's my only remedy. Fucking hell.

The only key sleep cycle is rem sleep, an average person can suffice with about 3 hours of rem sleep a night. There have been numerous studies into the human sleep cycle that illustrates that removal of rem sleep results in the adverse psychological affects. So no, you cannot at this time removal all your time spent sleeping.
