Welcome back, partisans of all stripes, to the 88th installment of Mecha Space Pirate Quest! I'm Wong, your host, and today you'll start out as Heinrich "Caesar" Merrow, currently masquerading as an Avalonian knight by the name of Sir Gaius Wesker. Also, after some stuff, you'll be Roarke because you have negotiations to do!

The Raiders – Part 20

The Dome where the Conclave is being held is similar in design to that of the dueling arena, save that it possesses a psychic circuit in the center that amplifies the natural telepathy of the githyanki into something that can be heard across the entire amphitheater. Already there are githyanki gathering, individuals and cadres alike, including a number of dragons and their companions. Most of the dragons have taken humanoid forms, solely for the sake of convenient seating; others retain their draconic shape, looming over the back of the higher seating areas or coiling and lying across the smooth stone at the lowest seating areas.

You fly in at a more standard speed than you are actually capable of; no reason to advertise anything out of the ordinary, after all. The capability is nice to have of course – surprise being a valuable weapon – but you also want to see who is present. Some of your allies, a few of your enemies, some of those who owe you much, and another few who owe you debts. Hadal is there, the shock of platinum blonde hair and the human countenance making him stand out as always; in the center, Dunzamn and his blade Voorsi, along with the ancient dragon Jacinth, her true name a mystery to all but the highest of knights and greatest of spellcasters.

You've never had a reason to research her name, but it might be wise to do so. The debt you'd acquire might be high in the process, but the power of a name cannot be denied.

None of the others of your cadre have arrived just yet, leaving you with time to prepare, mingle, or seek audience with other githyanki. Siobhan sing-murmurs to you in your mind, an eager, bloodthirsty little tune that is both soothing and promising in it's nature. Says something about you, perhaps. Still, you have opportunities, and there is some time to be had, a couple of turnings at least.

[] Go see Hadal, inquire about his Cadre.
[] Seek audience with Dunzamn, see what his plans for the conclave may be.
[] Call in a powerful debt; you may need resources soon.
[] Fulfill a debt of your own; you don't want to leave too much unfinished.
[] Settle4 down as let others see you as approachable.
Siobhan considers the latter option your best choice, as it gives you that mystique of confidence and aloofness that serves you well.

Greetings /qst/ers, I come bearing random generators from /tg/, and plan to run a quest utilizing them. These generators were developed for the sake of generating a post apocalyptic wasteland in the vein of Mad Max. The core concept of this quest is to generate a world, develop factions to inhabit it, and then run a quest within it.

If the idea of this interests and/or intrigues you, and you feel the need to participate, jump right in and follow my instructions. We're going to be using the following tables, and I'd like to give credit to Anonymous for creating them. Thanks Anonymous! Here are the tables:

> The Setting Generator:

> The Faction Generator:

So, let's get started, shall we?

Not much to say here, let’s get right back to it!

---

Somewhere in Arizona...

“What the hell is XCOM?”

Rachel pretty much sums up your thoughts right about now.. The… XCOM soldiers look at each other for a moment and back to their squad leader, the gruff Hispanic man, for directions. It seems like this is a first time for them or something. At the very least they aren’t acting hostile, keeping their weapons lowered. Good thing, you don’t know if you can pull off what you did on the Greys again with these guys.

“We’ll tend to your wounded and secure the area. Stay put while I talk to command and see what they want to do with you. Don’t know how much I can say just yet.” The squad leader says apologetically before motioning for his team to action. Though you can’t tell who most of them are, given the fancy helmets they are wearing, you can tell by body language and their chatter they are both equally impressed and wary at the carnage in the hallway. You note the variety of accents among the troopers.

Whoever they are, XCOM guys are are both equally impressed and wary at the carnage you wrought in the hallway.

You don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad thing.

“Fucking hell, these aliens got their arses kicked!” The Scottish soldier says, impressed, kicking one of the dead… aliens, for emphasis. As some of the soldiers pass by you, you note a very distinct flags on the back of their armor. The flags displayed the troopers from across the world, from the United Kingdom to Nepal. XCOM seems to be an international paramilitary force… What the hell did you and your team walk into?

You take a moment to raise a bloodied boot off of one of the dead aliens you stomped into mulch and let out a tired sigh, leaning against the hallway wall. A clean spot of it in any case.It seems your episode has tired you out. Judging from Rachel as well she looks pretty exhausted herself. One of the troopers, a Nepalese soldier with freaking sword on her back of all things, kneels down to assist Rachel who is ignoring her own exhaustion and is instead checking the state of your unconscious teammates, Captain Nguyen and Charlie.

“Let me help.” ‘Nepal’ asks Rachel, pulling out a strange red-colored spraying device of some kind. You note it has the universal medical cross on the device. Rachel is wary for a moment before the woman removes her helmet, looking at her face to face without any obscuring mask to keep her identity secret.

She gives Rachel a reassuring look which, after a long moment, does placate Rachel to let Nepal do her thing. Rachel does keep a close eye on her, ready for anything Nepal might pull.

While Captain Nguyen and Charlie are tended too, you wonder of the state of Jillian, Jenkins, and your team member, are they OK? Things got pretty hectic after you all separated. Finally, you glance back over at the XCOM squad leader, from Argentina, who is quietly chatting over comms. It seems their high-end gear is unaffected by whatever Jamming equipment the aliens used….

>Check to see if the Captain and Charlie are alright with Rachel and Nepal, you hope whatever these… aliens did to them isn’t permanent.
>Link back up with the rest of the squad, you should get them on the same page before Jenkins starts shooting at the currently friendly XCOM soldiers.
>Argentina knows the most out of anyone here why your team fought aliens in a drug bust. You want answers.

You are Captain Carya Marseille-O'Hara, and at the moment you're being briefed on what you need to know when you meet with Nicky Crespo. Even the man's name screams “mob connections”, and as it turns out he's a consigliere to Luna's top crime family: the Sandino.

“So what you need to remember,” Cima insists sternly, “is that these mafioso-types are bound by a lot of really old rules. There are certain things you can expect them not to do, certain things they'll refuse to do, and some things that might get you killed.”

“That sounds like a lot of trouble,” you sigh. “Well, what are some of those 'old rules' of theirs?”

“Well, it's all built on maintaining a reputation,” Cima tells you carefully. “When asked a direct question they tend to tell the truth, but they also make it a point not to sell out their associates and clients. And they don't hesitate to kill if the situation demands it.”

“Sounds like a nice bunch.”

“They're simultaneously the best and the worst kind of criminal,” Cima shrugs. “They play at being 'men of honor', but when it comes right down to it they're just criminals who operate with a different set of rules from the rest. Predictable and easy to deal with, but really no better.”

“Anything else I need to know about them?” you press. “Maybe something about the Sandino themselves?”

“From what I hear they don't deal in drugs or sex,” Cima recounts, sipping at a cup of lukewarm coffee from her cabin's machine. “But that's about all they won't do. The protection racket's their main thing, but they also deal in murder, extortion, bribery, and I've even heard rumors they'll arrange vote-buying.”

“How about smuggling?” you ask, recalling the weapons shipments you and your crew discovered out near Cuithe. “Do they own their own ships or do they make the more typical kind of arrangements?”

“Almost certainly the latter,” Cima nods with a smile. “Sorry, I sometimes forget that your organization's aware of the difference. Yes, the Sandino typically pay off unscrupulous space captains to take on extra cargo of contraband.”

“They typically don't even know what they're hauling,” you frown. “And I guess a group like the Sandinos are a bit easier to trust.”

“It's not as hard to rationalize a little smuggling when you can be sure it's not cocaine or girls,” Cima nods in agreement. “Though some captains would even look the other way for things like that for a few dollars more.”

“So it's not a total scumbag we're gonna have to meet,” you sigh, “but still only a bit less intolerable than your average thug. Anything else?”

“Well, Crespo's a consigliere,” Cima reminds you. “If that means what it usually means, he's not 'made'. He's not a killer, he's an adviser... one whose advice just happens to end with people getting killed some of the time. And to be an adviser for the mafia it means he's going to be cunning and absolutely without scruples even by the standards set by businessmen these days.”

“He also went out of his way to specify the time and place, meaning the restaurant he picked is either really good, or it's Sandino home turf.”

“You think he might be setting up to jump us?” you ask warily.

Cima shakes her head. “I doubt it. More that they're likely prepared for you to make an aggressive play.”

Eventually, the time comes for you to head to the restaurant in question: a little place called Amaro's on the second level of the city.

Previously... Miho Tsukada, the Heavenly Child was drawn deeper into the Sentinels and their shadowy organisation. When an encounter with the sinister Crow led to a painful and humiliating defeat, the Heavenly Child was left in a bad way. The desire for revenge was strong, but she sought a more noble path. In meeting with the Sentinels, and their mysterious Council of Twelve, the seeds of a more stable partnership were planted. When a new piece enters the game, though, how will the board change?

You're not sure how, or even why, but you managed to catch the last train out of Ark City. Even knowing that you would be stranded until morning, you automatically climbed onboard, paid for your ticket, and sank into the first empty seat you could find – and there were plenty to choose from. Tucked under your arm, the urn of Zakuro's ashes was a small and almost insignificant weight.

Calling it an urn, though, that would be stretching the point. It's a thin metal cylinder, the sort that once held a small, inexpensive drone – a child's toy, and the faded stickers that still clung to the metal only emphasise that. From the way Maika hesitated before handing it over, you have to wonder what it meant to her. Fond memories, perhaps?

Not fond enough to stop her from using the cylinder as a makeshift funeral urn, apparently. Either way, you prop that strange old relic up on the seat next to you and doze for a while, letting the hum of the train's engines lull you to sleep.

Your dreams are strange things, haunted by the image of demons in business suits and military uniforms.

Jolted awake by the sound of the train doors sliding open, it takes a hasty glance out of the window to chase away your sudden disorientation. Making sure to tuck the urn under your arm, you step out into the solemn town, the nameless burial ground. It looks just as you remember, with thick trees stretching out around you and the nearby hills grey with concrete pillars – every one of them is a memorial, and one of those memorials bears Hikari's name.

Maybe that's why you came here. With everything else that's happened in the past few weeks, you've barely had the time to give her a second thought. Visiting her grave might be just what you need right now, a chance to settle down and think clearly – or not to think at all, if only for a short while. Letting your memories guide you, you start off towards Hikari's grave. You'll take a moment to pay your respects, scatter Zakuro's ashes by the laze, and then... and then you'll think of something.

As you walk, you sink deep into your thoughts – deep enough that you barely notice the burial grounds around you. It's only when you get close to Hikari's grave that you look up, coming to a dead halt.

A young woman is standing at the concrete marker, her head bowed in solemn silence.

-

You don't recognise her, this new arrival, but even a passing glance is enough to tell you that she is far from normal – the sword is a good indication of that. She wears it casually, with one hand resting lightly on the grip, but there's no mistaking it for anything else. She absolutely, definitely has a sword hanging at her hip. Although wary at first, your initial caution is soon replaced by a burning curiosity. Who could she be, you wonder, and why would she be at Hikari's grave? The possibility, however tenuous, of finding a link to her past is what sends you hurrying up to the woman.

“Uh, excuse me?” you begin, “Are you...”

“I apologise for the intrusion. I simply came to pay my respects,” the woman replies, giving you a polite bow. As she dips her head, the string of charms around her neck – bones, tokens, all manner of things – jangle softly together. “Now then,” she continues, looking you in the eye, “You must be... Miho, correct?”

“That's right,” you confirm, realising that a lie would be pointless, “But how did you know that?”

“I believe we have a mutual friend,” the woman answers, a slight smile playing around her lips. Her accent is foreign, American, although you couldn't say much more than that – it's not the southern twang that colours Chiaki's speech, but something a little more restrained. “My name is Megumi Eto,” she explains, “And I'm... like you. I'm a magical girl.”

As you slowly trek over to a nearby bench, the sort that mourners might use to sit and rest awhile, Megumi explains a little more. As the Gravetender, chosen of Dignity, she felt the need to pay her respects to a fellow magical girl – even if she had been a complete stranger.

“So you never actually met Hikari,” you sigh after a while, “I guess I shouldn't have got my hopes up...” Leaning back on the bench, you stare up at the night sky and think for a moment. Megumi isn't the sort for idle chatter, as you've learned, but the silence is... nice. Companionable enough, at least. “So wait, how did you learn about Hikari?” you ask, frowning suddenly, “And me, how did you know my name?”

“Abraham told me. I'll admit, I had to pry the answers out of him, but I have some practice with that,” Megumi pauses, shaking her head before correcting herself, “Ah, but he uses another name these days, doesn't he?”

“Kurosawa,” you mutter, “the mutual friend...”

“That's it, yes,” nodding, Megumi toys with one of her charms, “I hope he hasn't been too hard on you. He doesn't quite understand people, but he has mankind's best interests at heart.”

The mention of Kurosawa, and his “unique” way of dealing with people, leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. Frowning a little, you hold the urn of Zakuro's ashes closer and think to yourself. Megumi waits in a cool silence, utterly calm and unreadable, leaving you to make the next move.

>I'm sorry, but I have something I need to take care of. It was nice meeting you

Welcome to the Hoplite quest! In this quest you will be playing as a, well... Hoplite!
But for real now: You are a leader of a three-person military group designated group Alpha, we will be using the standard d20 rolling system, I will distribute your base stats when you pick your class (magic, cleric etc. allowed), later on, you do it yourself. With that being said have fun!

***
You woke up to the sound of bells, well rested and happy. You slowly dress up and prepare for a lazy morning in the training camp, making yourself a breakfast, as you realize that the bells ring a second time.
You immediately jump up and get ready to leave with the third signal, which means an emergency, and comes after a short time.
You grab your weapon and run in the direction of the main tent.

Who are you?
Name -?
Gender-?
Age-?
Class-?
I will close the vote in ~15 minutes so we can start up at a good pace.

You rise from your bed, the base tones of the Pillar Men waking you from the previous nights slumber. As the sheets fall off you they reveal your boxer wearing form to the world, and contrary to the people the song is dedicated to...

You are a scrawny little puke.

You're tall, yeah but you're as fat as a pole, and your musculature is... wanting. The same man in the mirror only serving to reinforce your statement. God your scrawny. Your hair a mess, your grades sub-par, no extracurricular activities to speak of. All you really do the rest of the day except for going to school is browsing and shitposting on /cg/, Capes General.

Fuck you need to do something or your life is just going to stay bitter and grey.

On the bright side, today is your second year of High-School, specifically at Midtown High School. So, you know, new beginnings and all that. You get your hair in order, brush your teeth and put on some deodorant, as you're not a complete freak, you don't piss in bottles... and you hope it never comes to that.

You head down stairs and into the kitchen, grabbing yourself some Special K. You're out of anything else and you figure if it's doing wonders for your Uncle, might as well do wonders for you! Cereal first of course. You check the time an- HOLY SHIT IT'S 6:50 YOU GOT TEN MINUTES!!

You scarf down the rest of your breakfast, OJ almost killing you through suffocation, and rush out the door! You'll just have to text Uncle later.

Christ you're a mess sometimes. Speaking of which, what IS your name?

ded thred: the board

Titans Quest, which as the name indicates takes place in the DC universe and focuses on Teen Titans team. In particular it focuses on you, Adam, the newest member of the team. As the quest goes on you might remain on the team to as a mentor or even leader, move onto the Justice League, or go solo either as a hero or villain. Maybe you’ll fuck up big and wind up drafted on the Suicide Squad. You might even save the world here and there, maybe even land a date.

The Titans are a New York based team of former sidekicks/young adult heroes who have decided to help train and support teenagers/new heroes just starting out on their own. Naturally while this quest is based on the DC comics universe, things are different. Superheros haven been around since forever, especially since WWII, but the Justice League has only been around a little less than ten years. The Teen Titans, have been active now for eleven months and are a little obscure except to news hounds, New Yorkers, and super hero fanatics. On the broader scale, a lot of big villains and heroes haven’t made their debut. Darkseid and the rest of the New Gods are a mystery, Trigon is a myth, and Booster Gold is still a washed up security guard a couple of centuries into the future.

Welcome to the New Age of Heroes

The past five days pretty much all you’ve done is sleep. You could say it’s the death threats that stream your way that get to you, even though Cyborg and Starfire filtered them out three days ago. Another good excuse would be the creepy letters congratulating you for leaving so little of the man you personally turned into pasta sauce, reminding you of the other scum still inhabiting that need to disappear. Neither of them took into account that each of those letters is also a constant, recurring kick in the nuts. But’s it’s not that. It’s that the weight of taking of a laugh wears on you and exhausts you. Maybe the nightmares keep some people awake but for you they’re better than what you get when you’re awake.

Better to close your eyes and just let it crush you…

“Adam, it’s time to wake up” an almost monotone voice says, your glowing a somehow radiant black before being tossed to the other side of your bedroom.

You immediately get up, almost ready for a fight, when you see Raven walk across the room silently and open your blinds. Your eyes shut immediately flush with a low key agony as you hear Raven’s footsteps as she moves to the other side of the room and open your door.

“It’s 9 am, you’ve locked yourself away almost a week it’s time to stop doing this their way and start doing it mine.”

A.) I WAS trying to sleep.

B.) Your way? What?

C.) You do nothing BUT hide your room, at least I have an excuse.
>>

>B.) Your way? What?
We're back, baby! Aaand we're in a depression.

>Your way? What?

You all are war-orphans, raised by an ambitious Warlord, in the Goal of making you the perfect Commander, Unfortunately your adoptive father passed away a week ago. His army disbanded as they were mostly mercenary only loyal to silver and gold. Only a few remained behind still full of hope that among all of his sons and daughters a new Great Warlord will arise. For now its Filiek, the oldest of the orpha who took the role, he nominated all of you as member of His War Council...

So off with the RP, let me explain if you didn't get everything. Every player will be in charge of one character and his own personal army, while still working under someone else, for now i will play the Chief Warlord, but death can come at any moment in war, and when that happen a suscession crisis will arise, I expect faction to form inside the council as everybody fight for power while still cooperating to make the council as the whole conquer land, a balance will be needed.

I will let you each turn debate as to what to do, wage war, build stuff, develope your army, or diplomacy with foreigner.
But ultimately the Chief Warlords will take the decision, rebellion may arise if he ignore the advice of the councel tho, so careful for any aspiring Tyrant.

If you were to die, everything isnt lost, if you have managed to get an heir before your death (for now you have none as you have no blood related family) then most of your army and equipement may be kept. If you didnt get any, you can still get another character also youll have to start over, ill give you a bonus depending on how far youve evolved
So dont simply leave if you die, its not the end.

Now everybody who want to play, Pick for yourself:

>ITT: Post by post simulate the lore of a crew within a Dictator Class Cruiser from W40K as it descends into anarchy. Silly things are welcomed, but suspenseful action with drama is encouraged. Lore build up has to be gradual. Sticking to the official lore of W40k is not necessary, just have fun and get creative.

On a routine patrol through the Ascaddeus system, the Hammerhawk cruiser sails across lithely through the perilous void. Everything seemed well, Voidsmen to the lowliest Indentured worker ensuring the Hammerhawk functioned smoothly. Captain Hurelius Moganii sat diligently at his command throne, looking at the mega monitor of the general status of the system and ship itself. The bridge was a whirl of activity, Bridge Commanders filling out reports, Ratemen under the direction of the Lieutenant overseeing ship operation data, Navigators tapping away at vox-terminals relaying information.

All seemed well until Principle Navigator Lortier Huttes slammed the accursed klaxon button. At the top of his lungs he screamed the dreaded, ruinous, disasterous force that plagues the void. "WAAAARRRP STOOOOOORM!!!!!".

The entire Cruiser was set on high alarm, Armsmen of various rank-and-file are roused into action, ensuring all assets can be secured before anything critical is damaged. Indentured works/civilians rush to their quarters, while the Adeptus Mechanicus division activates repair servitors preemptively.

The Bridge is abuzz with Junior Officers scrambling to their assigned posts, Navigators working overtime to consolidate warp protection procedures across deck levels.

Everything went from routine to full on emergency as the amorphous blob of dark warp energy neared the Hammerhawk. As Daemons began spawning in, Armsmen lead by the respective Sergeant-At-Arms began fighting them off. Daemons from every creed of chaos trickled in as the warp storm drew close, but they were shuttered down by the brave Armsmen even after casulties mounted. (Cont.)

Soon the hated storm of the ruinous chaos engulfed the entirety of Hammerhawk. A maelstorm of internal madness waged through all echelons of the Hammerhawk cree, but the Warp Storm passed instanteously. Now the ship sails aimlessly in an unknown sector of space, completely removed from the known extent of Imperium territory. Nobody admidst the Bridge or Lorekeeper division know where they are. The Hammerhawk crew is now truly alone in space.

Initially order is the first priority to check after survival of a Warpstorm. Captain Moganii had his Lord Lieutenant, Duellius Brandy, do roll calls within the Bridge.

Meanwhile, chaos was rearing in the lower levels away from the upper secure Bridge. Penal based servants used the temporal Daemon siege as a platform to liberate themselves from their Crewboss handlers. The various Armsmen squadrons didn't have time to realize what was happening after the Daemon incursion ended, being completely offguard by the mutiny. Heavy CQC combat was the main facet of action, with skirmishes of ranged Lasgun showdowns occured.

Being completely disorganized, Senior Bosun, Reeger Haga ordered a retreat from the stern hold where the Penal Indentured Servants hold their opposition to form a solidified position a level up from the mutinous Penal Servants to restabilize order admidst the Armsmen.

Just as Bosun Haga was tactically retreating up the stair corridor, he was stopped by the Fleet Commissar and two Guardsmen from his private retinue.

FC Zeluna Quvark eyed Bosun Haga down, eyes full of authoritarial malice.
"State name and command rank." The tension ramped into one of uncertainty.

Bosun Haga shakily answered back. "R-reeger Ha-aga, Bosu-"

His words soon were lost to him a he was slugged with beams spiraling to his midsection, internals vaporizing instanteously by the plasmic rounds splathering onto him. The former living fell in a heap on the corridor floor, a charred massive hole through him.

FC Quvark reholsters his Imperium Hellpistol, looking up at the assembled Armsmen struck completely surprised by what just happened. "There will be no retreat, the Penal Servants must know their place. They are nothing but lawless men and women that have overstepped the privileges of being alive even after committing crimes against the Imperium." He cups both his hands behind his back, his Commissar overcoat bellowing as he turns. (Cont.)

"Ensure the Stern levels are brought back under control."

With no choice under the treat of disciplinary execution, the still unorganized line of Armsmen squadrons re-engaged the improvised weapon wielding Penal Indentured Worker gangs.

While battle for the control of the stern levels of the ship insued, a surviving Daemon of unaligned Warp origin possessed a Chef named Lortimer Davies. This was your average run-of-the-mill Indentured Worker who just happened to be assigned to the culinary sector due his proficiency in cooking. Accessing his memories the Deamon, Hsau'lla'ryuiken, noted that most the Hammerhawk ship was under lock down. Communications were minimal due to the nature of the Warpstorm effects on Vox systems.

This was perfect for now proxified Lortimer. Going to the neighboring hab-cabin, he asked the come in on the guise of his toilet not working. After the Father of the Momen family let him in, Hsau'lla'ryuiken came out through Lortimer's mouth and absorbed the Mother, two daughters, and boy. Before the Father could even get his Sword Harpoon ready to strike back in revenge at the trauma he witnessed, Hsau'lla'ryuiken went back into the catatonic mortal frame of Lortimer Davies. Tackling the Father, a flash in Lortimer's eyes rendered his victim paralyzed, but conscious.

Hsau'lla'ryuiken took joy slowly torturing the Father of the Momen family, cutting him slowly piece by piece with a long kitchen blade before absorbing him. Now a monster roams the halls of Hammerhawk, possibly being any of the crew. But for now, Hsau'lla'ryuiken plans to eliminate all other life in his hab-district to consolidate territory to operate from.

welp this has been an eventful few days, first off you learn you have the Big E in you. then you disappear for two weeks while traveling in the warp.

also the clown mentioned something about being part of some big jest or something. guy is weird so that could mean anything.

Finally since it seems we are in real space we have arrived at our destination.

Now then, welcome to guardsman quest

alright quick and dirty, this quest is not for die hard lovers of cannon since fun and shenanigans beat cannon for the most part. Though I will accept info about the warhammer 40k universe general rule of thumb is fun is king here

you decide to check on the psyker loli that is holding your arm. "Terisa, how have you been?"

the psyker loli is quiet for a bit before she looks at you and states "About fucking time."

"where did you learn that language."

"you."

"fuck."

Drauge and Mirasi start laughing as Mirasi gets up and your stomach growls fuck you are hungry. "lets get you some grub, inquisitor." Mirasi states hoisting you up and dragging you to the mess hall.

you grab a tray and help yourself to some food, bland and mushy just like you are used to.

"hope you don't mind the normal soldier grub, I know it's not wine and-"

"enough Mirasi, just because I'm back does not mean you can unload the sass on only me."

"fine fine."

the psyker loli refuses to let go of your arm and begins to eat using her psyker powers, kicking her feet happily.

"she really likes you." Drauge states "almost as much as machine spirits like me."

"you mean the toaster spirit." Mirasi states grinning at Drauge.

the conversation devolves into Drauge trying to cover his embarrassment and Mirasi enjoying messing with him.

you quickly finish your meal and think of what to do.

>[1] make sure we are in real space and then head to the planet, time to start the search before the cultists get smart
>[2] check that Druage finished what you asked him to do and get him to show you exactly what he did

Last time On Monster Quest:

Zeldren the wisp managed to escape the crypt that had been his home for so long, and round up in the hands of a small girl named Elizabeth. Using the girl as a method of moving around, Zeldren slowly began to grow in knowledge in power over a month.

Feeling up to the task, and curious of a near by God's grave, Zeldren used a compulsion spell to have Elizabeth convince her friends to go on a quest to the site. WHile there though, Zeldren came face to face with the necromancer who had owned the crypt they had started from.

Seeking to save the investment they had mad ein Elizabeth, and possibly to save the girl for emotional reasons, Zeldren made a deal with the Necromancer: He would use the death of Elizabeth's friends and the girl's altered memories to start a war between the local village and a nearby goblin village that has been harassing them.

He has three days before the necromancer gets bored, and only the gods know what she'll do to Zeldren when that happens.

Zeldren hovers over the waking form of Elizabeth, having just made a deal with maybe the most powerful being he's ever met, or ever will meet. Hard to say really.

Elizabeth rises from the ground, her eyes staring into space with horror. Her mind is damaged, to shattered to feel fear at the sight of Ratman. She can only muble a single sentence "Little green men"

You float above this broken child, the result of your descision. Ratman rises and waits for a command, the muffle dsound of rats the only thing that can be heard besides Elizabeth's mumbles.

>Return Elizabeth to the village?

>Investigate another location?

>Test Ratman's abilities?

>Try and talk to Elizabeth?

>Other?
>>
>>1601938
I think we might just be able to test ratman a bit before we return to the village. Also we should probably make some sort of credible place where Elizabeth could've hidden during the horrible goblin attack, as well as goblinify the scene as well as we can.

Talk to Elizabeth

"Im sorry child.. I wasn't able to protect you. Ill get you home safely. Tell the adults of the little green men that hurt your friends. Tell then how they died."
