Novice. I have had this gerber for quite sometime, manufactured survival knife with flint and a sharpening tool attached to the sheath. It feels very sturdy and is a little heavy but other than that what do you think of it as a starter?

I suppose I'd be very confused and wary of what happened. Likely making me bug out to the wilderness. I live in western massachusetts, I'd probably head west to the AT and take it to canada. Make some kind of permanent home

Liked it, good atmosphere, still only explored about 2 regions in the game.

Mostly it makes me want to buy an SMLE, though

Very comfy game. Wildlife is highly aggro on the highest difficulty but it's not horribly balanced

Not too much bushcrafty stuff yet. If you're looking to make hatchets and knifes out of rocks and sticks you're out of luck for now

But the game is gorgeous and I can't wait to see what the future holds for it

Firewatch is pretty and has an okay story if you're into walking simulators. The music is amazing

I almost exclusively hike/backpack alone. Nature doesn't feel quite as sublime if I' not completely alone in it.

Sometimes I hike alone, sometimes I hike with friends. Depends on my mood and the hike.

If I hike alone I make it a point to tell someone where I'm going and when I expect to be back.

am in south florida, only now starting to pay more attention to different species and songs while out.

I'm also a beginner.
Started getting into birds after spending more and more time outdoors; My only equipment is a confortable foldable chair, guide to local birds, camera & some good binoculars.

I work at a ski lodge for the winter, I haven't found a summer gig yet but I've started sending out applications.
