I like the look, dubious quality though
All the reviews I've seen have been pretty good so you probably didn't go wrong
>>683860
>what do you guys think?
Think you are another marketing victim. Also, since you couldn't find the general you likely aren't too bright, which makes you the ideal BG customer.
Guys, I want to try cricket. My friend eat once and he said they are delicious, they taste like shrimps. And they have a very good nutritional value.
Which type of crickets can I eat? Can I eat the green ones? And how do I found them in the woods? Thanks!
100 grams of cricket contains: 121 calories, 12.9 grams of protein, 5.5 g. of fat, 5.1 g. of carbohydrates, 75.8 mg. calcium, 185.3 mg. of phosphorous, 9.5 mg. of iron, 0.36 mg. of thiamin, 1.09 mg. of riboflavin, and 3.10 mg. of niacin

Shrimp is gross
My grandfather said I will not find them, they only appear in the winter? Is true? Where are a they are now?
I'm from South America, it's summer here.
How do you keep your electronics charged up while /out/ long term? I'm talking 4+ days.
I'm thinking of going for solar power with this
http://www.amazon.com/2-Port-Charger-Anker-PowerPort-iPhone/dp/B012YUJJM8
But i'm not sure how reliable things like this are, if i can rely on it to keep my things properly charged up, or whether its just for emergency use. The other option is to take a few fully charged portable chargers but if they break or get used up, you're screwed. There's wind up chargers but none of them have good reviews and it seems like a gimmick.
So i'm not sure. It's pretty important for me to use my tablet while /out/.

I was about to answer you but they you wrote about using your tablet outdoors.
Get fucked OP. Leave electronic shit behind.

>he doesn't play Angry Birds innawoods
The real deal. No impostors. Spring is coming soon for you folks in the frozen north (hopefully).
So you know, let's make fun of tripfags and discuss fishing techniques, tackle, and show off our catches.

boynton fag reporting in. Going woods fishing. Will report back with findings.

ohio anon again, mentioning a thought about why baitcasters cast left. the inertia of the reel has to be overcome by the lure before it can move, unlike on a spining reel where it just pulls off the line.
Making drills.
This guy is going to develop spaceflight in a dozen more episodes.

Love that guy. Maximum comfy. Wish he did more videos.

There is an axe in the background.
I'm usually not a fan of these kind of primitive survival videos because I'm like "what's the point", but this was actually really cool to watch his tool progression.
Feels thread. Im living near amazonas since 2009.
This is a view from Cerro Campanario, in Bariloche.

How did i do for an /out/ vehicle 1997 mercury mountaineer 180 miles 5.0 v8 awd new tires has headers.
Pic related before i bought it. Paid 500 for it and put about 1k in it so far it runs great and interior is great everything works.
I also fixed the front bumper put a new bumper on it.
>>680560
You might wanna go to /o/ and ask them.
/Out/ can be.... weird with it's vehicles.
But yes, you did very well.
Try to stay below $3,000 with all the additions. That's the street price for a vehicle like this.
I would suggest a Ranch Hand (grill guard) and a winch. It'll allow you to clear some more brush, and if you get stuck wrap the winch around a tree and stand on the wire. You will be out in no time.
If 4x4 or even AWD i think you did great i have the same one its just a 1998 moutainer
What is the single best survival video or tool you have come across that has helped you or you think everyone should know?
For me a Fresnel lense has and was a epiphany. I found one in my dads office. He's a engineering and I just took it outside to be a pyro and it starts fires almost immediately where a regular magnifying lense just creates embers.
Its light and flat enough to fit in any pack and you can salvage Huge ones from old TV's and smaller ones from old screen projectors that they had in elementary school.

Like i said something everyone should know which doesn't = something that would work every day. Luckily I live in Everglades FL. Thank you for the Video :)

>good luck on a clouded winter day.
Who fucking cares? Just use your lighter when you must and use the lens when you can to save on lighter fuel. The same goes with a handdrill or other non-fuel fire starter. Only use stuff like a lighter when it is an emergency and always have several non-fuel backups.
/an/ sent me here, said you /out/ists might have your dogs equipped with a GPS Collar.
Anyone have experience using them? I'd like to get one for my sister's dog. The little shit loves to bolt the split second you get distracted.
>>681521
>>681529
That's when she escapes, right before you have a chance to put it I her. She's very agile and fast.
>>681521
Here in East TX, hunting feral pigs with dogs is a common practice and EVERYONE I know who hunts with dogs has their dogs equipped with GPS + shock collars. What exactly do you want to know about them?

There is better quality for less money in less screaming colors.
Exactly. THis is shit
I have had one for a while. They are pretty good. A lot of people talk about how terrible they are. But most of them have never used it.
Post your personal /out/ Shangri-La
I'll start, Kintla Lake, GNP
Another view
Going there this summer myself.
I don't think it's secluded enough to call it my Shangri-La though.
>>684488
The nice thing about Kintla is it's relatively remote, and the road there is pretty shitty, so not many tourists make it there. There's also a backcountry camp at the far end that you can hike or float to.
<--- where is your god now
looks delicious, seems like this would only be good for car or backyard camping though. How would you go about making this?
>>683137
The guy who made this sure doesn't yoke around!
>>683158
Like normal french toast in a skillet. Then assemble it into a loaf when done. Otherwise, it will be horrifically soggy in the middle.
