CUTE!
I've waited all year for this. The Galaxy that's reaching is sexual
>>17858328
I've never seen this kind of thing on tv.
more interesting than expected.
>tfw I'm not living in Murica
It is the best country for petrol heads
itt the worst faggots on the road
>people who drive under the speed limit in the middle lane
>people that drive the speed limit in the left lane
>people that think just bc the road is empty they can chill in the passing lane
>liars after accidents
>>17854606
Aka
How can one entire nation spawn so many shit drivers. What the fuck is wrong with you people.
>>17854606
Solution for this:
Waves of snowplows in each lane. Go too slow and you get chucked off the motorway. Plows travel at the following speeds:
>60mph on the inside lane
>70mph in the middle lane
>70-90mph on the outside line (Depending on traffic)
>20mph on the hard shoulder to incentivise not breaking down.
fixed ur roads
what should I buy if my only requirements are:
>25k USD
>rwd
>manual
Used or new, will be a weekend car so I don't need it to be terribly reliable, and I won't import.
Have some cringe in return to your efforts
>>17871336
New you could get a Fiata,
Used you could score a Corvette, Challenger, or Mustang.

cash or financing?
How come all the jews I know are way richer than me but I drive a nicer car than them?
Did I fall for the Jewish expensive car meme and the jews are making real money and not spending it on expensive cars by not falling for their own Jewish memes!?
Because rich people don't stay rich by wasting money
>>17871279
Jews....
Jews dont spend money and are cheap
Cars cost money
>>17871300
So what do jews do with their money
My sister is in love with crossovers/SUVs. She doesnt have any kids. I personally hate them, but are they actually good for women drivers? Should I try to talk her out of it? pic related is the car shes about to buy
Why the fuck do you care?
>>17870995
she's always coming to me with car issues and i dont want to fuck around if shes going to buy a shit car for the next 7 years
>>17871019
Oh, then she should definitely not buy a GM product. Lexus RX is a much, much better car.
How dumb is it to drop a 4 rotor into an rx7?
50k seems pretty steep
the fact that you are asking on /o/ and not doing it already shows that you will never do it.
stick to swapping engines in Forza, kid

>>17870870
by 50k you mean 50grand? for a fucking 4rotor?
>>17870910
Wasn't asking because I wanted to do it. I'm smart enough to know of the rotary meme. I'm just asking to know how dumb it is. Is it even close to worth it
I'm back

how does it feel to live in a time where minivans are actually cool?
>HUR how is a minivan cool?
Anything is cool when compared to a fucking crossover
minivans were actually large vehicles, crossovers are just small compact cars made to look like a suv
>>17870762
No lie I'd drive a aerostar like that one in the op.
Not hard to beat contemporary car design.
Crossover is the shittiest meme in car design
You may not like it but MPVs are what peak practicality looks like.
>modern cars will never gonna look great agai-
I mean this is probably something like the id-x where it wont actually ever happen

It looks charming as fuck imo
Do you think EVs will have a huge effect or motorsports?
What about on high end auto companies like Ferrari. Surely when electric motors are significantly cheaper than Ferrari engines yet still out perform them, Ferrari would be mostly obsolete?
>>17870419
Right, here's the problem with EV's in motorsports.
>They're fucking lame.
Look at Formula E. Sure it's really cool in concept and its cool in the sense that a lot of hard work and engineering has to go into creating these cars, but it's really not all that interesting as a series. If the battery runs low in one of the cars, they switch cars to let one recharge while one is out on the track. So there's no frantic pit stops, there's no in and out in 10 seconds and back to racing. It's watching a driver get out of one car and get into the other.
The other thing about EVs in motorsports is that it loses that "sexiness" that current ones have. Think about how movies or documentaries dramatize racing. It's usually a lot of revving, a lot of engine noise. There's also a lot of shifting (look at the F&F franchise). That's some of the parts that make racing so cool. I can't see a bunch of cars whirring or humming along be as cool. It's too quiet. Hell, Formula 1's fans were pretty much revolting when the V6 hybrids sounded like shit especially compared to the V12, V10, V8's.
So EV's in motorsports? Maybe. The change could happen but I think it would be so hard and turn off so many fans that it wouldn't be something that will change anything any time soon.
You know that LaFerrari, Porsche, Acura NSX already has electric motors already right? They use them to provide instant power out of the corners then the main engine takes over.
Hybrids are already the norm. The biggest roadblock for all electric performance cars are the batteries
>Fomula E
>drivers have to change cars when the battery runs low
Why would anyone get a 2 door version of a 4 door car if it is inferior in every measurable way and why do some car makers insist on only having the performance version on the inferior platform?
It makes no fucking sense.
For the most part they look better.
>>17870386
>inferior in every MEASURABLE way
>>17870393
Having people like your car makes them buy it more.
More sales are a measurable way.
who here has to commute in traffic daily
my 8 mile stretch along I-66 takes 30-40 min at 8 AM
>18 MPG city in my WRX
>>17870250
14mi here, I-12 is a 1.5 hr drive at any time of the day unless it's 2am
my 323i gets around 30mpg and i made it comfy for this purpose
it gets ridiculous how many people are on the road and how few of them can actually drive
>live downtown
>work slightly outside of downtown
>always going opposite traffic
>never need to touch the highway
>10 minutes to work, 20 minutes home
>>17870250
Get a motorcycle and split lanes, faggot.
Is this a good buy? I have a courier job and one of the Prius I drive has 500k miles on it. Do I need to replace the battery? This has 300k miles.

>>17870135
Bump, anyone know about used hybrids?
Any advice? I'm really looking into this possibly $1800 Prius lol
Nvm, just read on Toyota forums that batteries degrade with time. They usually fail at 15 years and I don't think they go past 17. Mileage doesn't matter which is why my company's Prius has 500k miles those cheap bastards.
How much money do you think Mazda has missed out on over the years by not offering a coupe version of the Miata?

Bout tree fiddy
I just bought this 1993 Nissan Sentra SE for 400 bucks off of an old guy who was good at routine maintenance but bad at taking care of anything else. I am absolutely in love with the car, and I want to fix it up some. I just have a few questions.
Where should I start?
Is it supposed to sound like a fart machine?
Where can I get new tires for a good price?
Why is it so difficult to get into 1st sometimes?
>>17870599
>buying shitty cars
y tho. should've bought a mint one poorfag.
>>17870599
>Why is it so difficult to get into 1st sometimes?
Maybe you need a new clutch?
Have you checked your tranny fluid? I'm not an expert but maybe that's why you have difficulty shifting into first. I'd start with cleaning it the best I can, inside and out.
