So many men are going to ride her

whats wrong with it?
This here is arguably the most iconic semi of the 70's and 80's.
Men I give you the International Transtar II
whats the turbo looking thing above the cab
i have seen it before in old trucks

I'd imagine it'd be a vacuum extraction pump of some sort to load or empty the trailer...
what's are your thoughts on this SEXY ass car ? will i get killed because of it's rwd and lack of esp ? keep in mind i live in a country with horrible roads and long winters with icy roads and many snow days
its a slow ass car if you kill yourself in it youre just a bad driver
>>17867335
ok then i'm sold, how much should i expect maintence to be. i've heard stories of old bmw's in pristine condition and others that burn as much motor oil as fuel. i suppose it depends on the previous owner but what can i expect from this car after 100 000 miles
>>17867330
This is a pretty perfect way to learn to be a good driver desu
It's a balanced rwd with just enough power on skinny (by modern standards) tyres.
You can learn so much more about driving from pushing something like this to 8/9 10ths than driving a modern, more powerful car but never being able to experience its limits
The longest race car in the world.
BMW finally gave it a paint job

Also Aston is updating their GTE too. Looks like it has the Vulcan's front.

Is it that fucking hard to make nuts in China now?
>>17867248
it will only get worse
>>17867248
China hate thread?
Just for future reference, Ace Hardware stores usually have a really nice section of assorted fasteners. My local one has two entire isles dedicated to fasteners - one imperial and one metric. The one at my vacation home only has one isle, but it has everything I've ever needed.
>Working on my trail rig s10 blazer

>I've had to replace parts I bought less than a year ago

I've taken my DD down the same trails at the same rate of speed and nothing is going out. Granted, I usually use OEM or Moog problem solver parts on my DD. The toy gets cheap parts as I don't care if it breaks in the trails.
>Absolute worse case scenario I walk 3 hours home and grab my tow rig

OP here - there were 2 Aces close to my house - one closed and the other is staffed by mouth-breathers who really would not know what a flange nut was. Ace is no longer an option for me. ;(
What pisses me off is its a 16 mile round trip from my place ( I live in the sticks) to the HD. Thats a full hour out of the shop and a gallon of gas for less than $2 of hardware.
Am I the only one who prefers the 458 to the 488?
I hate the air intakes on the 488, they look ugly.
>>17867206
They're both ugly.
I do. The 458 will go down as a classic Ferrari, one of the all time greats.
Clean and aggressive, with subtle details like the f40 aping tri tailpipes, and the fact that all the air intakes are on the bottom
>>17867206
I like both.

Islam is not conducive to modern civilization.

isn't TypeR from Malaysia or something
Bluepill me on the Mustang II. I don't think it was that bad and I think it looks better than the early Fox-bodies and most importantly was good athe time when it adapted to the gas prices and the changes in the market and the demand for smaller cars.

Cuz I am redpilled, people need to bluepill me to hate the car.

Trips told the truth too hard?
to drive this Buick mini ute aimed at senior women? I can lease it for literally $150 a month. no maintenance worries, free XM radio & onstar, free oil oil changes etc.

standard big touch screen, bluetooth, apple carplay
>>17866618
if you're even considering this you're not an enthusiast so why are you even here? we don't give a shit which econobox you buy.
Buick is still around?
>>17866208
Also know to be driven by idiotic villagers that got excited by a shitty diesel engine.
Now all ex golf drives are buying old 3 series BMWs because they got cheap enough.
Yeah, i love stretched tyres and shitty suspension setups
it really was!
Got a car that you bought for less than a 1000 bucks?
Did it come with used tires and blown struts?
Does it meat the shitbox category?
Post it in this thread!

If only the roofline looked more like that of a cls, those look so good
>>17866070
that's not a perfect car because it isn't a tiny 2 seater with a retractable roof as well as a luxury car that can seat 4 people.
that's why the perfect car doesn't exist, dipshit
hey /o/,
I had my windshield replaced today and noticed that the rubber strip that goes between the windshield and plastic cowl (like pic related) isn't there anymore. Is this bad?
You fucked up, get that shit fixed ASAP.
>>17866055
really?
>>17866193
That is only rubber seal for that plastic cover, no worries
Is there such a thing as a simple/bare bones luxury car and do you think there would be a market for something like that?
Something with top notch build quality using the highest quality materials, but with none of the fancy electronics of a new car.
An old school Mercedes Benz basically, but built today.
Ever considered simply buying an old school Mercedes Benz?
People buy luxury cars for their luxury, not for their build quality
No
>>17865881
i believe bmw needs to buy saab and sell older platforms of bmws with modern drivetrains and vehicle stabilty and traction systems for 6k lower than the fatherlands equivalent model... like honda did with acura and toyota lexus but in reverse
mercedes had the perfect opportunity to with chrysler but blew it
