Was that intentionally supposed to sound retarded?
Are short throw shifters worth it? They certainly look retarded.
short throw != shortened stick
my nigga.
are you ever gonna race the car and want quick shifts? then yes, probably.
if not, then no, it's rice.
>>17870489
In the real world short throw shifters just fuck up your shifting.
I wanted a AE86 with popups in aussieland but either they are too expensive or rare should I just get a GT Eight-Six instead?
It will give you less headaches, that's for sure
>>17870361
I though the Eight-Six costed peanuts to run
for the price and how they are stock, it's pretty stupid.
if you just want the looks then buy a nissan gazelle, looks nearly the same and can find them cheap. if you wanted something that would feel close to an ae86 then get a ke70
With the Phaeton out of Production, what other currently-in-production vehicles seems more like stealth-wealth?
>>17869781
Stealth wealth? Can't think of any. Today's fully loaded Camry/Accord is nicer than high end luxury cars from 2007, so who cares?
Stealth power? Chevy SS. Looks like a rental car. Is basically an M5 with a manual.
>>17869781
the best stealth wealth car has always been and always will be the toyota land cruiser
rich people drive G classes and X6s, wealthy people drive prado land cruisers
The new VW Arteon?
What do you think about Doug scores?
His ratings for the importance column are bullshit..

Non anerican buying rwd gmc sierra. What does obs stand for? What kind of body is this? Its very long, longer than tundra. Is it k 1500?
I don't know what "obs" is but yes that is a k1500. Half ton, full size American pickup.

vapefags

Because despite the aggressive styling, the car is FUCKING BORING.

One of these vapers complimented my car today, so I don't hate them anymore.
Has anyone who knows what the fuck they're talking about ever compared the S550 Mustang GT and Alpha chassis Camaro SS?
>>17869045
no one who knows what theyre talking about remotely cares about two pigfat slushboxes marketed to boomers and monster-energy-drinking trailer trash
Depends what kind of metrics you're after. I've driven both and have a preference, but I'm by no means a professional automotive journalist/tester.

high engine rpms are bad because it wears out your motor, but is there such thing as too low of an engine rpm? or is it okay to drive at 500 rpm
>high engine rpms are bad because it wears out your motor
spoken like a true sissy boy
>>17868671
Yes, I own a p.o.s Miata and my commute to work has a lot of 25 zones, I keep it at about 1300 rpm in 5th gear. All that shifting wears out the trans as well as shift linkage. Also, you can rev a healthy engine without blowing it up most of the time.
>>17868671
only plebs ever let their engine get under 7k rpm, get out normie
I find lots of videos of V6 new edges with turbos but I don't know how much one can reliably handle for daily driving without compromising reliability.

Hey /o/ its me again. I had a thread here a couple weeks ago about buying a cargo van to convert into a stealth camper.
I have came across a very interesting vehicle
> 2006 Ford E450 super duty
> Diesel
> "Airport shuttle bus"
> $4000
> only 25,000 km or 15,000 miles
Basically it has the same front part as a cargo van, just with a longer wheelbase and a bus cab tacked on.
A few questions:
In the future, could I remove the bus part and put something else on it?
How will the mileage compare to a cargo van? My research is telling me the difference could be minimal.
Will it be harder to drive?
I guess it won't be very stealthy anymore. That is one drawback. But the mileage is just so low! It has been sitting around for 10 years.
The owner says he went on a 2000km roadtrip for $370 CAD. This equals about 13 MPG. Websites are reporting anywhere from 8 MPG to 12 MPG. The typical ford E series cargo van gets 12 MPG.
>>17868516
>The typical ford E series cargo van gets 12 MPG.
I meant 14 MPG
>>17868486
Get a 2% tint on the windows to keep the "stealth" look and remodel the interior as you see fit. I like this idea, but don't be surprised when some random fucks want a ride thinking you're a bus.
