What do you guys think about my new car?
I'm a eurofag and always dreamed about a nice V8 car.
However because of ridiculous taxes and shit in my country, it's pretty unaffordable.
So after years of driving a BMW diesel and saving some money, I said fuck it and got myself this.

So far I'm pretty happy with it.

I guess it depends on the laws in your country, but I've always assumed whoever is in the ending lane has to yield to those in the continuing lane. I would've done the same as you.
Where I live we don't have laws about cruising the the passing lane, so it's unbelievable how often I get stuck behind an SUV going 3 mph faster than people in the cruising lane, or better yet, going the same speed.

ANYWAY so i watch these ricers and turners race a little bit and im happy as fuck, i want to run so bad but my car atm sucks (READ --->) so after the races end and ppl head out i go home and start looking on cregslist for a goodish car (manual) thats under about 15,000 (wokr just about min wage) and i found one of these in the north east part of my state, i love the look of this car its a mid engine v6 (idk if fwd or rwd) and i was wondering what yall think of it (sorry for long bs story)

Honestly, if you want to get something that looks similar and is MR (mid-engined, RWD), buy an MR2. They are cheap, reliable, fast (not in a straight line unless you get a SW20 turbo, but even then, that isn't very fast). The only issue you would encounter with getting anything that is MR would be actually driving it. Mid-engined cars are much, much harder to drive fast than your traditional FF (front engine, FWD) or FR (front engine, RWD) car. The SW20, at least the versions before the 1993 suspension rework, were notorious for a thing called "snap oversteer". Personally, it has never happened to me in my '91 SW20 turbo, which I autocross and track occasionally, but then again, it was my first car.
Honestly, a good first *real* car would be a pre-2006 MX-5, otherwise known as a Miata.

If you don't like the Miata for whatever reason, there's several more cars you can consider.

Please help, /o/. I have no self respect and need 4chan to validate my decisions.
None of my current friends are into cars, which sucks because I have no one to talk about cars with, so I'm trying to fix this problem. I've decided to possibly go to car meets to meet new people with similiar interests (I know socializing is hard but I'm trying to push past it.)
The problem that I have is my car. It's pretty lame and has no identity. It's not some tuner car that I've worked super hard on, and it's not some shitbox with lots of personality. It's a completely stock 350z that I have done no work on, and have nothing to talk about. The point of these meets is to discuss and show off your cars, but I have nothing to show off. Is it still a good idea to go?
(Also I know a lot of you say these meets aren't worth it because they're filled with vape-douches and ricers. I have good faith that there are some actually good car people that attend these meets, so that reason won't deter me.)
