I want one bad. I want one baaaaad. Can a YJ be fixed up to be in good shape for a DD? I know it gets bad fuel mileage and is more naked than the TJ but man I am in love with it. I'd like to know if they can be reliable vehicles for someone that wants to abuse it?

No, if you abuse a stock YJ you'll break axels and drive shafts all day long.
The 4 and 6 cylinder engines are tanks though.

I bought a 1967 mustang and received a Florida title from 1977 and on the back it says seller completes form 1 then it says "form no.1 transfer of title" under that are lines which are almost all signed out but one which reads "for value received the motor vehicle described on the face of this certificate is hereby sold and delivered to, (print or type name of dealer or individual purchaser)" the line after that is signed by the original persons name and notary public, which doesn't match up to the title??

You'll probably have to "wash" the title through one of those states like New Hampshire that don't issue titles on older vehicles and instead only use a Bill of Sale to document the transaction. You then take that BoS to your DMV. It's a pain in the ass but less than trying to fix a botched title.

My advice applies to strictly being a mechanic. Get a job first. Start with the basics and supplement with junior college classes if you can, ASE's will increase your pay. DO NOT GO TO UTI OR WYOTECH. I work with guys that went there and end up as a tech next to some guy who started busting out oil changes at walmart. If you have interest in autobody then I would suggest UTI or Wyotech because it's hard to get an entry level job at a body shop with no background.

Do you have a garage to store it in? And work on it? Do you have an arsenal of tools? You'll want air tools because you'll be taking the same stuff apart many times over.
Also you could probably buy it if it's a rusted piece of shit, but you'll take 10 years to restore it making $350/week.
