>mfw someone tells me a turbo 4 is as effective as a v8
hahahaha its car related because theres a car :))))))))))
it was a v6 you dumbfuck
>>17715348
No it wasn't. Fuck you.
Is it getting out of hand /o/?
All my money goes to shitboxes and shitbikes.
Are you happy?
Are you healthy?
Are other people suffering because of it?
Ok, a lot of my money goes to weed and beer too, but I continually save until my bank account hits 2500 or so then I need to spend it.
Last 3 vehicles and a trailer have been 300, 200, 500 bucks and free soo... That just kinda escalated. 2 of those keys aren't pictured.
Pretty happy. Don't know how the town feels about it all, but fuck em
>>17715384
If you are happy, you are doing something right.
Is it considered a bad thing that I want these beautiful beasts to run over my dick?
Yes anon, that could really hurt.
>BBW fetish
>rubber fetish
That's pretty tame for 4chan, so I'd say you're fine.
>>17715307
Yes because they're shit
What does /o/ think about a blackout car? (Black car, wheels and window trim) Looks good, or nignog?
its good when done right
>>17715256
>>17715256

>>17715310
With just few simple mods
buy a wheel car
Got 4L80E that's telling me that the Input vss is not making any voltage/signal. I've relplaced the sensor and I've inspected the wiring and it all looks the good. I was looking up the wiring diagram for that transmission and I found this. My question is this, where does pin #14 lead too?
VSS IN
Also, fuck the 4l80E and it's electrical gremlin bullshit
Just be glad you don't have a 4L60-E.
>>17715234
Yea VSS input, I'm just wondering if that wire goes somewhere else or does it go straight to the TCM??
Also, pretty sure Ima need a new trans soon lol
daily reminder that this is your typical /o/ poster
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZpS3vOErZdA
That's not as bad as I was expecting. This is what I imagine when I think of the average /o/ user.
>>17716418
>implying its not pic related
This man does not deserve to have his license and i'm glad that he was charged with "Reckless Driving". Contrary to popular belief, even if you're in the right legally, you should still try to avoid an accident. I can't believe that I have to explain this, it should be common sense, but apparently it's not.
Here's the full video if you don't believe me:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sg22EtGx8rk
How was he even in the right legally? You're supposed to let people merge if you can. Intentionally blocking someone from merging into a lane isn't legal.
Because mergers are supposed to look, but he should be careful too, but instead, he just wanted to be a dick.
>USA drivers
ITS ALL ABOUT MEEEE
FUCK ERRYONE ELSE
Talk me out of buying 350z for hooning machine
Why do you come here for auto advice. /o/ is just going to yell pigfat
>>17714944
Honestly though, how did they manage to make it that heavy?
>>17714939
If you like it, buy it. It is a pretty rad car
Pick 2 car colors that are better for a young man in his late 20s or early 30s than pic related.
>Screams sporty but not cheap
>Aesthetically pleasing, not too light or too dark blue color
Pic related.
Pic related.
Black.
Am I retarded for wanting a 3000gt VR4 as a daily driver? There's nothing that outperforms it for less than 10k.
A C5 will keep up and be ten times more reliable
Hope you enjoy fixing needlessly complicated stuff on a car that weighs as much as most SUVs.
>>17714865
buy it loser and find out why
shitshobushis are trash
Why is it that tastefully modded (almost no outside cosmetics) late-nineties Honda Civics are sexy as fuck to me, but whenever I look on craigslist for any stock Hondas they look hideous? Is it just because of bad photography, or does a slight lowering make all the difference?
>>17714831
Its those few simple mods
I agree that there's just something magical about late-nineties Japanese cars.
>>17714831
Lowering and wheels choice, also the ones on craigslist might have wonky bumper mounting making the car look off maybe?
Sup /o/, /diy/ here. I found this old Duster in a barn I was demolishing for salvaged wood. I'm a big fan of the Roadkill episode where they mad max a challenger with a RV 440. I'd like to do the same thing and show people that Mopar are Cars of Peace.
If anyone can offer me some input or help that would be great. I am a wood butcher not a mechanic. But I will get a stick welder to start fabbing up a mesh grille etc.
You can see some of my wood butchery & crimes against lumber here. I do not tripfag though

I see you have the Australian version. Those are very simple to work on. Whats wrong with it.

Gas tank has a layer of lacquer and it has 2 bent rods. Despite this it still managed to hit 60mph although it backfired a bunch and vibrated
Parts are on order and I'm following a YouTube video on rebuilding slant six engines. New gas tank from rock auto.
Altho I still like the idea of a 440 stuffed into it
Be sure to clean out the fuel lines. Change the fuel filter. Im assuming it has a mechanical pump, if so, make sure thats flushed out too.
The idea is to make sure whatever junk the old tank was running through your fuel system is all flushed out.
As for the engine, it should be a straight forward process to rebuild it. The old American straight sixes are known for being damn near indestructible.
I dont know for sure, but ive heard restoring mopar stuff is very expensive. More expensive than your Fords and Chevys. So, finding a V8 may be very expensive.
These cars any good or are they just a meme? Found one for around a thousand and I'm thinking about biting. Pros and cons?
they're good
>pros
reliable with timing belt changes and a fresh cooling system
incredibly easy to work on if you know anything about cars
light weight
huge after market
lots of documented swaps for anything
cheap parts if you buy online
amazing dash looks
factory aero for cooling front brakes + easy to add ducts
>cons
high buy in now since it's a cult classic
battery tray rust
steering wheel doesn't telescope/lower
dash cracking
sunroof drain clogged/rusted
shitty owners/stance cancer
If you buy one for a thousand expect to do everything maintenance wise. Post the ad and I can critique it
>>17714477
For a grand that's a steal. Even if you don't like it, buy it, tidy it up take good photos and make a good profit on it.
They're pretty damm awesome

I love to hate the corvette. It's such a piece of crap.
>Archaic pushrod single cam engine
>ECU cuts power after a couple highway pulls because the engine is so frail
>Archaic cross-plane crank design
>Can't even do 1 lap around the Nurburgring without crashing
Why is Chevy so far behind the curve?
The new NSX has a mid mounted TT V6 with electric motors, and looks extremely modern. The new Ford GT has a carbon frame and a mid mounted TT V6, sharing the beautiful and modern design cues that the NSX, 458 Italia, and other forward cars have. The GT-R is faster than the Corvette with a TT V6. The new GT350 has a flat-plane crank, meaning it will sound much better than the Corvette, and is just a better piece of engineering overall.
All of these cars look much better than the overdesigned, childish extrerior of the C7. The oversized belled quad exhaust tips, the ugly hexagonal brake lights, and everything else is just on another level below the current design language that other modern sports cars wear.
Why are there so many Corvette fans on /o/? It's such an inferior, cheap, and dated piece of engineering compared to other modern sports car.
ok
alright
