I'm going to get a Mercedes AMG and name it "Stormfront".
>outdated S Class
>trying to roleplay a rich guy
I'd rather call it poorfront
>>15741414
To be fair it'd still make lunch of most things on the road.
Not a fan of the fuckhuge Mercedes emblem on the grille of the newer ones.
Why do liberals hate fun so much?

This guy is so retarded. The comments mainly agree with him too.

you dont need a self driving car only for this solution
if your car could flash a green light when the self driving car in front of you signifies that its safe to accelerate freely
>>15741232
>self driving cars
I can already see this going horribly wrong, super quick.
>>15741232
already have a thread about this, op.
Be honest. What's the best vehicle you've ever driven? Doesn't have to be yours, just the best thing you drove. Don't lie, were anon here.
For me it was a Dodge charger. It isn't even mine, it was a rental. I've also driven a Chevy suburban that was probably worth more money but wasnt as good as a driving experience.
A 1997 m3
Best race car: Lotus 7
Best luxury car: Audi 5000 Quattro
Best Muscle Car: Plymouth GTX convertible
Best daily driver: Mazdaspeed Protégé
>>15741214
For me it happens to be one of my vehicles, 2014 Mustang GT Premium. It's the nicest, comfiest and fastest vehicle I've ever driven.
If you had $40,000 (USD), what car would you buy as a daily driver?
>>15741122
2016 Mustang GT

Either this or a used Cayman.

Yet a V6 still placed better than any V8 on the track
Absolutely BTFO
Do spindly/lightweight wheels like this hold up to being daily driven on shitty roads, or is there a real risk of bending? I live in Michigan.
>>15740822
should be fine

>buying aftermarket wheels
Shiggy diggy
>>15740841
yes it's important to preserve the authenticity on a fiesta st or golf gti
Why does this engine upset some people? Is it due to the advanced technology?
>>15740805
Yes it very easily upsets people. I'd be upset too if I owned a v6 ecoboost and were slower than a 4cyl and v8s
>>15740832
>still slower than the r version
Lmao, btfo
The engine itself doesn't upset anyone, /o/ is just tired of the constant shilling faggotry.
I'm a poorfag looking around for an inexpensive, sporty car with decent modability, and noticed that R33 Skyline GTS25t coupes are pretty cheap around here. Anyone have any thoughts on them? How are they to drive, ease/cost of maintenance, etc.?
>inb4 hurr just save up for a GTR
If I had a better job and cars were the only thing in my life, maybe. Unfortunately I can't justify spending that kind of money even if I could. I'm only looking at Skylines at all because the no one wants the non-GTR R33s, so they're a bargain.
>>15740721
>illiterate fag incoming
>>15740721
Insurance isn't cheap.
>>15740754
Even for non-GTRs, huh? Well, my record is clean so I can probably deal with insurance as long as it isn't completely absurd.

Bonus points if under $2,000 total investment.
Bonus points if over 200k miles.
Mine: 1999 Crown Vic. 241K. $2800 total investment.
Cost me $1,400
210,000 miles on it
Since I bought it back in May, I've had to replace the radiator, temp sensor, three taillight bulbs, a fuse, fix oil cooling lines, and replace the optispark. fuck optisparks.
In the future I need to replace the gaskets in my differential, and the valve gaskets. Car is kinda leaky but that's an old cop car for ya.
The car is currently not running, It stalled on me a few days ago, kinda like before I replaced the opti. I hope that fucking thing didn't fail on me already... currently trying to figure out why I am not getting any spark. Really hoping I dont have to pull the engine apart for the opti again.
>$500
>55k miles
>invested about $100 in it
Drove it for a year and a half, gonna strip it for parts for my 97, and demo it next summer.
$1,800 for the car, $1,000 installing new head unit speakers amp and subs, $400 for LX Sport wheels. A tire failed on one of the lx wheels so police tires are back on. $60 for the spotlights and $60 for the push bar. $3,320 total.

General car audio thread. Q&A if you've got 'em. Probably done about 15-20 installs now but hey we can learn from each other.
