Who is the greatest automotive designer of all time, and why is it Marcello Gandini?
Dumping Gandinis.
>>15745710
I love the shamal
He's made all of the best looking cars in history and he doesn't even care about how they look. That's genius at work.

>In our talks, Gandini was clear that his design interests are focused on vehicle architecture, construction, assembly, and mechanisms – not appearance
Would pic related be a good first car?
It's for sale near me for 1900 eurobucks

ITS RWD SO OBVIOUSLY ITS GOOD
Depends on how much you're willing to spend on fuel. These cars are pretty thirsty.

Memes aside, i love the s chassis but don't know shit about them, what are some of the things i would need to look out for?
What's your favorite Group B car?
The one that's been reposted on the internet a million times and which everyone knows because we all love Group B, so all of them.
When it comes to sound, pic related for sure.

Buy a civic.

Save that money for a house
26 here and don't have my own place because I keep pissing away money on fine German automobiles
I should have bought another japbox and moved out
Are go karts /o/? They have a combustion engine, 4 wheels and are used for racing.
I'm going to pic related tomorrow with a friend. Haven't been there in over 5 years.
> be me back then
> have driving license for 3 years
> always conform to traffic regulations etc
> go karting
> oh fuck it it's a closed circuit, I'll go fast
> doriftoing around all the corners
> lap everyone
> get black flagged for cutting some slow pooftah off in a corner, forcing him to run wide
I was a dumb teenager, I'm calmer now and take shit a little more seriously. It's going to be fun.
Should I bring my motorcycle leathers for shits and giggles?

Theres a kart track in my area. It is the ONLY road course in the state. No cars allowed. Only karts.
Im gonna ask them if we can start a mini bike thing.
>>15744978
That's on my bucket list as well, going on a kart track on a motorcycle.

Because it looks nice?
Normies don't know the difference between a straight piped V6 and a V8 half the time.
It satisfies my inner ricer.
Redpill me on Subarus /o/, I'm thinking about getting my wife a newer Outback, like 2015 or newer, probably the 3.6R because I've read the 2.5 is gutless. Also considering a Forester, I'd prefer the XT for the power but I'm hesitant to buy a turbo car. Am I being stupid here, or are they actually good cars?
After 2010 shit.
>>15744814
>I'm hesitant to buy a turbo car.
Grandpa, is that you?
>>15744814
If you need more space, get the outback. Otherwise, the turbo XT's are pretty reliable too.
The 2.5 is okay when paired with a manual, not like your wife would drive one though.
So, I wanted a hot hatch and after some research I realized just how undervalued the Focus ST is.
I need all of your help though. So, I already have the turbo, inter cooler, down piping Etc all ordered (I paid jack shit for the car). I also have adjustable coilovers and new sway bars.
So, I plan on pushing it hard, obviously, but how the fuck do I deal with traction if I'm pushing 400hp?do I spend $5k rolling the fenders with a bolt on kit, and getting the widest tires possible?
I've never really dealt with a fast front wheel drive.
Can I increase downforce and toque vectoring by covering the bottom of the car with a custom cut piece of lightweight and heat resistant material?
The team from 2013 is talking about pushing 600hp to the wheels mainly stock, so I'm just trying be smart here.
Also, hate subarus.
Sorry to sound defensive I'm just exhausted and excited and really don't want to leave something out and got shit on. My friend always wanted to build a car, he died of Pancreatic cancer, so I didn't pay anything for the car and have $40000,for parts, etc
>>15744711
You probably won't find the information you're look for on /o/, you'd be better off going to something like focusst.org or whatever their other active forums are and checking out the big turbo Focus builds.
That being said, you pretty much need a bigger intercooler, big turbo, upgraded injectors, and then you should be considering water/meth injection and that sort of thing. It's pretty important (especially with ecoboosts) to work with a reputable tuner so you don't end up blowing up your engine.
>>15744755
Also, Cobb just released "Traction Cotnrol" tuning for the Ford cars. I haven't really looked into at all, but it's supposed to be much better than stock. That'd be the only way to really change or tune the torque vectoring (and only possibly, I guess).
If you want to add down force you'll probably need to find a functional front splitter.
Pic related. Apologies for the wall of text.
So I need a little advice on this. I have a 1998 Honda accord, and it's been nothing but issues since i wrecked it. I had liability only so the car never got totaled out like it should have. I did a whole front end replacement on her with an old boyfriend of mine. Anyways.
The front upper bulkhead has been a serious issue for me. As it is all welded together, and it got bent in my accident, I haven't replaced it yet considering a whole side panel would have to come out with it. Anyways the latch is 2 inches roughly set back from where the hood latch should be. I've tried to pry at the bulkhead as much as possible without bracing at all on the radiator, which is relatively difficult considering there's nothing there to brace on.
I've tried everything I can think of. I don't know that a pro would take my car and do the job for me for a decent price. Its pretty bad.
The hood was tied down for a bit until this morning when it flew up on the highway. I was lucky my windshield didn't shatter. I need something that can do for a couple months to keep this bullshit hood down, preferably a way to get this latch to come out further or some advice on my bulkhead.
I don't know what I can do at this point, I just wanna sell the car as a project to someone and get another car. She runs beautifully. I just have poured a lot of money down the drain. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
More pics in the replies.

The front core support should be bolted on to the front fenders. Is it factory spot welds or tack welds from a body shop hacking it together?
>>15744659
>I did a whole front end replacement with an old boyfriend
Looks like he did a shit job. But then again, you probably didn't pay him so it evens out.
Should I?

You got me there, Anon
And I do.
My tire pressure (,,,!,,,) light came on in my Corolla but all pressures is fine. Youtube said just to reset the light but I thought i'd ask /o/ for more clarification. Is the fact I parked on gravel a possible cause for a false reading? I have 4 pretty nice Pirellis on there.
That's the cuck alert light.
>>15744551
Having these unnecessary sensors in your car is for PUSSIES
>>15744505
Get out tire gage check all 4 tires. If they are fine ignore light.
Step 2 check tires occasionally if they look low. Sensor could be bad take to tire shop if you are too stupid to check your own tires
What does /o/ have to say about Aston Martins?
That's a Ford Fusion
Face looks fantastic but they really fucked up the rear in my opinion. ruins the whole car for me.
Kind of an irrelevant brand.
They make attractive cars but I'm not sure who they are for. I can't imagine ever having $100,000+ and thinking yeah I want an aston martin.
