What information do I need to see to determine a cars speed/handling ability? And I don't mean some bullshit video where they do laps with the car. I mean what specific numbers do I need to look at? And yes of course older cars are going to vary based on condition but I still need a reference point
Who is this saemon daemon.

old car reviews and google?
0-60 time
1/4 mile time
Compare lap times on http://fastestlaps.com
I was working on my truck earlier today and I noticed this on my replacement bolt. Anyone know who the manufacturing company is that makes this bolt??
NAMBLA obviously you stupid fuck
I'm curious to know too.

i just searched this shit up oh lord
So can /o/ tell me anything about the 350z? I've always wanted one because I thought they looked awesome and I found one within my price range.
Its a base 350z, cherry red, with a manual transmission and 26k for miles. They want roughly $12,000 for it.
Is this too much? Are 350z a good car? I was looking at 370z but they're outta my price range.
>>16427058
good looking chassis, VQ35 are meh engines. watch for timing chain issues and oil burning
07-08 best years
>>16427058
they're really nice. Good handling, good controls, good engine, looks way more expensive than it is.
Make sure you don't get 2003 models.
Overall it's a parts bin car. If something breaks hope it's not a part off a skyline.
I want to participate in autocross or rallycross but all I have is a 2015 Fiesta. I can't buy a second car because I'm saving up for a down payment on a house or condo and I don't have a garage at my apartment to store it. I can't use the Fiesta because it's banned from rallycross due to rollover risk. And I won't sell it because it's almost new and I'm not willing to take that loss on depreciation. And I need a reliable DD anyway.
What should I do?
>>16427025
Nothing. You literally can't do shit.
>>16427025
better wheels, tires, suspension for the Fiesta to keep it from toppling over. just do autocross instead, rallycross is far worse to cars.
Better question, I have a 2017 wrx how do I get into rallycross?
Transverse engine layout is the superior layout.
>movement from front to back instead of trying to twist the chassis and suspension sideways
>more compact
>best choice for everything that doesnt have some oversized engine, or an outdated FR layout
>>16426984
transverse is best for MR or RR
>>16426984
>outdated FR layout
>ageing the shitty bait post
I have a 66 mustang i've been trying to sell. I have it on craigslist, Classiccars.com, and ebay. The price is very reasonable, but little interest. Any thoughts on where or how to advertise it?
Do you know what you have?
You don't have it up for like $100k or anything silly do you
>>16426943
You're a piece of shit who tries to trick people into buying your problem. Try craigslist.
Will Chevy beat Ford this year? Or will they just break down again and get recalled in the middle of the race?
Ford will win.
ford has more tricks up their sleeve
>slowfag class
meh who cares they are all losers

>Caring more about 3 cylinder hybrids than race spec production cars
What's it called
When people decorate the interior of their cars with like, curtains, and beads, and all that aesthetic stuff? Kinda like what they did on Top Gear with the Limo challenge. Will dump some Aesthetic stuff in the mean time.
Pic semi related - just a Honda Acty I had on my phone that is sorta what I'm looking for, but more custom
>>16426536
It's called "your a filthy unwashed hippie shit head who is living out of your car."
Alternatively it is known as 'Stop smoking weed and get a job.'
Can someone please post a link for the Ford Factory shop manual on a pdf?
Im not talking about the Haynes or Chilton books..
>>16426533
I was going to buy a retired police interceptor but people have convinced me not to do it because Crown Vics apparently have very bad fuel economy.
>>16426533
What is it your trying to find? I use to own a 00 CVPI.
>>16426626
Their fuel economy isn't great, but it's not single digits. Teens in the city, twenties on the highway, and they're meant to run on plain old 87 so no worrying about paying for premium. It's a two-ton car with a sizable V8, of course they're gonna get worse mileage than a Civic.
You shouldn't buy a retired Interceptor because 99% of the time they're completely thrashed to shit with holes and wires everywhere and a thousand miles of idle wear.
Is it worth buying a CPO Audi or BMW?
No. It's cheaper to lease a brand new model in the long run. Most dealerships do special deals 2 year leases. Go up to any smart wealthy person with a fancy German luxury car and ask him if it's leased, 90% of time they'll be leased.

Do you think they will ever come back? I don't think guys with limited budgets should not be able to have fun because women drivers.

/o/ said snap on was good quality? I just looked at their jacks and jack stands and they are all made in china?
Doesn't matter where something's made as long as the quality control is up to par.
>>16426132
I worked at a factory that made snap-on cabinets.
Their products are outsourced and there isn't a
'snap-on' factory, it's just the brand.
They aren't bad, nor are they good. However, they seemed overpriced and I doubt they are the best bang for the buck.
Again, this is for their cabinets, dunno about their tools.
>>16426132
>/o/ said snap on was good quality?
socket wrenches are eeeeeeeeh at best, that's what I mostly own from them
3/10 probably wouldn't trust life with but I've used ghettos ass jacks before so w/e
Subaru are a bunch of idiots. The WRX hasn't had a wagon variant for a few years now, and that was always half the point of the car - fun, practical, fast, etc.
The wagon made up half of all WRX sales.
Now that Subaru doesn't offer the wagon, it's stupid. Lots of people want it, but they won't make it. They claim that "we sell enough sedans and can't justify making the wagon." Why the fuck not? Whatever happened to doing something just to do it?
It's fucking retarded that this is how it could go:
>WRX wagon stops being made
>WRX sales go down by half because people don't buy the sedan
>Instead of releasing the wagon, Subaru discontinues the WRX entirely
>"People just weren't buying it, there's no market for it"
However, enough actual dumbshits are buying the Sedan that Subaru assumes they don't need the wagon in the lineup.
Fuck Subaru.
>>16426102
Lol you are so upset.
While I do wish Subaru would release a wrx wagon.(other than the LEVORG) their is no need to upset over it.
The outback is a wagon
People are buying the fuck out of those there is no need to make a wrx wagon anymore. It suffered from poor sales regardless.
>>16426102
There has never been a wrx wagon (excluding the levorg turbo if such a thing exists) They are hatchbacks.
>>16426127
*also excluding the outback xt
so Honda might introduce this thing to the US to compete with the miata, except it's even smaller and less powerful
>1.0 litre turbo 3 cylinder
>127hp
>mid engine RWD
>6 speed gearbox
>1,870 lbs
thoughts? would murricans buy this?
How much would it be?
>3 cylinder
Gay and communist
>127hp out of 1L
Respectable I guess but still fucking small engine
>1800lbs
That's like chevette or 70s fiesta territory. At least it'll move faster with that weak fucking engine.
>>16425798
>would murricans buy this?
Maybe with a facelift or hardtop. It's a little too gay looking as is and it's probably "too sporty" for most women.
one of these for sale near me for 1000$
needs s new battery which is $2000
should i get it
>>16425586
You could buy 3 corollas for that.
Why do you want an insight?
>>16425586
gut it and slap a d16y8 in it for maximum mpg/hoonage combo
>>16425586
Objectively no you should not buy this vehicle.
Why the fuck would you want it.
