what would be a reason for a remote fob to not work? Ive got and 2003 audi a3 and the remote key fob does NOT work. I followed the programming instructions but it does not work. then i took it to the dealer for unrelated work and told them if they could program it while they had it. When they were done they said they couldnt and probably some wires where disconnected.

I have a new key/remote so the remote not working isnt a possibility. What are the commo fail points as to why the remote fob doesnt work?

You're fucked m8, take it to a certified Audi dealership, and bring at least a liter of lube. They'll fix it for a "small fee"

Opinions on the Chevy SS?

>hurr durr it's an aussie car
I know.

But I kind off like it. Subtle and looks quiet but roars like a lion and takes off quite hard when you step on the gas. Kinda like a sleeper from factory.

Automotive reviewers love it. It's been said to be the best factory sleeper you can get and it's the new performance sedan benchmark.
A lot of the chassis engineers were BMW fans, so it drives a LOT like an E39 M5. A few reviews have actually directly compared the 2 and proclaimed the Chevy SS to be the E39's spiritual successor.

It also looks quite comfy on the inside.

Also if I'm getting one, I'll be getting a manual.

So braided brake lines. The brakes on my motorcycle suck they completely lack any bite. I'm thinking of replacing the stock pads for some EBC EPFA's and possibly replacing the stock rubber brake lines for braided ones. Does anyone have any experience on going from stock rubber hoses to braided ones, is there a real noticeable difference, not necessarily on a bike, or is it just "because race car" unless you go on a circuit for a long period of time.

Whens the last time the fluid was flushed?
>>
I put some on my KLX. It made the lever a little more solid but it's not all that big of a difference. Start with a new set of pads to see if that changes anything. Sometimes a bad master cylinder can cause mushy brakes even if it's not leaking. My other bike always had a spongy lever no mater how well I bled the brakes. Swapping on a master cylinder from a different bike cured that right up.
>>
>>16424389
Been serviced every year or at 4000 mile intervals at dealerships. Break fluid changes are every 2 years, the bikes 5 years old and I've only had it 6 months so its not had it changed since I've had it, the colour still looks fresh though and the level is good. So assuming they've followed the scheduled properly its not that. Any experience with braided hoses though?

Last night the UK government gave the go ahead for 18 new "Garden Vilages" across the country, building on mainly brown feild sites it has been confermed that half of the coutries drag strips are to be demolished including "the fastest strip outside the USA" to make room for houses in areas with little work.

Nice work nasty party.

>>
Thats sad anon. They been trying to close them over here too. Mainly based on noise conplaints from people who moved into the area after the drag strips were built.
>>
Yeah well, I'm not sure you're even from the UK, otherwise you'd display more understanding for the housing situation and the frankly utter international irrelevance of drag racing. Who the fuck even drag races in Europe, much less at an actual strip and not an old airfield in Poland?

that would imply GM comes up with the shitty visibility on purpose but in reality they're just awful designers and engineers.

http://www.dailysportscar.com/2017/01/03/2016-goodbyes-the-viper-part-3-the-zakspeed-saga.html

>By now the Viper had effectively been excluded from the N24 race entry with a new rule mandating a maximum engine size of 6200cc. The Zakspeed Brains trust had (another!) plan – by removing the rods, pistons, valves/ springs and rocker arms and plugging the lifter bores of the front two cylinders the engines were effectively converted to 6.2 litre V8s putting out c.600 bhp.
>The team entered two cars, and the #77 car (Peter Zakowski, Sascha Bert and Robert Lechner) won the A8 class and finished on the overall podium in third! The team’s #33 Viper (Hans-Peter Huppert-Nieder, Christopher Gerhard, Dirk Riebensahm, Werner Mohr) repeated the same feat the following year!
