It will be take 4 more years before the rest of the world gets a 2.0-liter FA engine in their STi
Cool Camry
Do you think they'll ever appreciate in value?
>>16424212
no, they're going to go 5th gen dodge charger style I guarantee. Pile of hot garbage. If I want something that looks like a classic, I will buy an old car. If I want something that looks classic and want to sump money into it, I restomod. If I want a newer car I get a newer car, there is literally no secondary market for this car.
>>16424212
No because the market that Ford targeted (boomers) will be dead/in homes soon. Look at the drop brass cars took for a comparison.
That's a nice figaro you got there

Nothing.

OHV V8 + torque converter = envy of the world
>>16423668
My 95 4.0 V6 XLT (oxford white) retired with over 220k miles on the original engine. Too bad the transmission was a piece of shit, thank god for ATRA warranties. That truck had the comfiest seats. The fucking rear seats could recline. I drove that beat rom LA to Alaska where it spent 3 winters and started every single morning.
Currently driving a 99 5.0 Limited. It has 112k miles and I intend on driving it when it hits 200k. The seats arent as comfy as my 95's and I dont care for the suburban mom pearl white but hey at least the transmission is solid.

awesome
>>16423557
Definitely never buying one, they're pigfat enough as it is, and every hybrid I've ever driven has been a soul-sucking experience. They'll probably make it for one or two years if that and quit from no sales.
If you could pick between the three, which would you take? Bearing in mind not being made of money.
I can afford the RS but the Fiesta is kind of appealing with a price tag of nearly half the cost, not to mention the stellar gas mileage.
4WD from the RS would also be really convenient as I live in an area that gets snow a couple weeks a year.
They all look really, really appealing.
Mk2 Focus RS
if you get the fiesta st you'll have a fun car that is awesome to drive
if you get the focus rs you will be king of the turbo hatches
if you get the focus st you will one day see an rs and want to kill yourself
i'd buy the fiesta st
or a mazdaspeed3
If you can afford it, get the RS because why the fuck not.
Otherwise the st twins are both good choices.
Hey /0/ please school me on the BMW E30, im looking for a very simple fun car and it seems like it would be a good choice. What should I look out for, are the later model ones better? That sort of thing
>>16422675
Its slower, less reliable, less comfortable and more expensive than a corolla.
>>16422690
My first car was an AE100, it was a cheap reliable car but it has no soul to speak of
>>16422690
not a corolla of the same time period.
and corollas are fwd, thus can't be fun.
the later model ones aren't better, but they have the desirable late model bumpers.
the early model bumpers are god awful.
How do I know when a timing belt is ready to fail?
I've bought an Audi TT 2002 with 155k miles which is known for timing belt failures. The manual says to change every 105k miles so I assumed this car still had 50k miles to go which is why I bough it but now I've read Audi reissued another manual saying timing belt for this car needs to be done every 75k miles
This changes everything and I don't know when the last timing belt job was done but if it was done at 75k then my belt is possible ready to snap
My serpentine belt looks in good state but how do I know if I should spend the money to change my timing belt or if I have a new belt installed? I don't want it to snap and kill my engine
Serpentine belt =/= timing belt
Replace
>>16421579
i know that but the serpentine belt along with the water pump are almost always replaced at the same time as the timing belt so if my serpentine belt looks in good condition wouldnt that mean my timing belt is ok too?
Look for tiny tears and a "dry" look, also for sideways motion of the belt when the car is running, any sort of squaking means misalignment or wear.
Most shops nowadays change the tensioner pulley along with the belt, so more monies but alas, new part so peace of mind.
Why don't you daily drive this
>>16421232
Because I'm not a faggot or a middle aged woman.
>>16421232
But I do
i would like to i want to buy one

are the "driving while black" stories true? do black ppl get pulled over for bullshit "excuses"?
I'm black and just got my driver's license in Canada
>>16413748
>in Canada
you should be fine
It helps to drive a normal car instead of a nigger chariot Escalade on 24 inch chrome wheels with blacked out windows.
>>16413748
Yes, they are true (no matter what you drive, what you wear, or how polite you are). But you live in Canada, so it wont be a problem.
