Stop shit posting please.
>>
>>16551161
It's a legitimate question - it is a safety issue, right?
>>
>>16551157

Pre-hacking them. Tesla is already monitoring everything you do and has complete control of the car at all times. If you're controlling it, it's a privilege and you should suckle Elon's nuts in gratitude.
>>
>>16551170
I wish I could suck his nuts.
>>
Literally nothing, just like every piece of security software and networking hardware made in the US is required to have a security hole (backdoor) for the government. Every Tesla car has a backdoor so the DARPA can take control at any moment and fuck you up.

Enjoy your fancy big table that runs spaghetti code full of security holes written by people who gives 0 fucks about your safety.

At least when those are in your room, they can't kill you.

Nothing. He's going to wait for a car to be hacked, then do one of 2 things..

A: he'll offer an update for the car that prevents it from being hacked free of charge to all owners, in order to make his company look good

Or

B: he'll say something like "The hack is a hardware problem and cannot be fixed on current models, but our next car will be hacking proof!" in order to scare people into buying cars
>>
>>16553627

yes that makes it perfectly okay, I stand corrected

Yeah I had a 72 Honda sl125 that had cable operated brakes. They sucked lel. Every rear drum I've had in a bike has been operated by a lever though but those aren't as crucial
>>
>>16554094
The rear is actualy way more simple than with a cable.
It is just a lever on the "pedal" and a thick wire going rear.
It is crude as fuck, but works suprisingly well.

I find the lack of manual over-ride and redundancy very disturbing. if the drivetrain is direct drive, then there needs to be a circuit breaker to manually disengage the battery pack.

>>16551370
steel braided lines, brass fittings, that shit isn't getting cut.

Tesla has already allowed the robot overlords to kill the youngest FBI field agent ever appointed. that 10 second all electric car got going so fast the debris field was over 300 yards.

Kek, not true so far
>>
>>16551358
Of all the articles you posted, only one dealt with Tesla security. That article showed that a group of researchers did find a vulnerability in allowing for remote access by an attacked. Tesla then pushed an update to fix that vulnerability.

It is unreasonable to want software to be bug free, that is an impossible task. It is not unreasonable to want bugs fixed quickly after discovery, which is what Tesla has been doing.

>he doesn't have an ancient shitbox that uses magnetos instead of a battery

>lack of redundancy
You have no idea how much redundancy is built in to the high voltage system
>circuit breaker
There's 2 giant relays in the back that can be disabled many ways in the event of a failure

>steel braided lines, brass fittings, that shit isn't getting cut.
You can cut through it like nothing, have you never had a brake line in your hand? How do you think you size a brake line to the car when using generic lines, with a plasma cutter? A tiny pair of snips can cut the lines with ease.
