???
Hey, he was in my face
Any oldfag 90's kids here? CLK GTR or 911GT1?
McLaren F1 Longtail
CLK GTR. it looks like an E-Class on steroids. the Porsche looks like a 996 on Steroids and I've always been a big fan of racing cars that resemble more mundane shitboxes than muh lambo and muh big mac.
It was such a fearsome titan in GT1 that most of its rivals simply gave up leading to a reworking of the GT1 class so Manufacturers like Mercedes couldn't just throw millions at a road-going pseudo prototype.
Unpopular opinion but i like it more than the F1 and (it) was the car i fanboy'd over not the F1.

Do you double clutch?
>>17170868
yes but I drive an ae86 with a button clutch so its fairly necessary. Its a learning curve remembering to do it without over rev
>>17170881
we call it rev matching and its not needed driving anything smaller than a truck
I float
What car is this one?

>>17170836

Have you ever walked away from a good deal?
>>17170781
I was offered 100 bucks if I gave a blowjob, should have taken them.
>>17170781
Yup and I still sort of regret it.
Last year I had a chance to get a Charger Hellcat for 53k brand new. I was driving to a dealership to look at a red Challenger Hellcat with manual, but the car had just been sold while I was driving there. They tried to get me into the only Hellcat they had left on the lot, which was a Charger Hellcat. I had no issues with the Charger, but I really really wanted a manual and would not budge. Even after taking over 10k off of the Charger, I still walked out. I ended up getting a used 2015 m3 instead a few months after, but I still sort of regret not getting the Charger Hellcat. It was really one hell of a deal, but I do like my M3.
>>17170832
hellcat or not, the charger is fuck ugly. worse yet, cops used chargers so they will become niggermobiles with due time.
I had enough of this shit.
FUCK MITSUBISHI

>2.5L I4 stroker engine
>no forced induction
>330WHP (so ~370 crank HP assuming very minimal drivetrain loss)
Ethanol blend or not, this car has a higher specific output than any NA production car by a significant margin. Ultra high-end NA supercar engines like the 918 Spyder/458 Speciale/F12tdf/GT3 RS around between 120 to 130 HP/L while this is closer to 150. What's more, it's an I4. I thought these were very unbalanced engines, which is why "performance" I4's are usually only 2L as oppose to 2.4+. Why isn't this engine shaking itself apart at high revs?

Honda actually knows how to make engines
If only they stopped sucking cocks and made a v8
>>17169845
because honda is the king of the 4cylinder.
>>17169857
this is a blue board
Honda makes VERY good NA 4 cylinders and this one has had pretty much everything thrown at it by a shop that key is building NA motors.
Im going to get me a Ecoboost Mustang.
You butt blasted?
>>17169804
I thought you were buying a V6 Camaro, make up you're mind jackass
No, have fun with minimal fuel consumption in a sleek car
is it easy to turn up boost on those?
I don't really care about Mercedes or Lexus. Styling does nothing for me, too many models with awful and nonsensical designations to follow, no manual options, too expensive for me and I'd rather get a BMW/Audi if I had the money.
I dont like or dislike Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Cadillac
I really like the 70s and 80s mercedes
>>17169746
Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Subaru
I hardly ever see anyone drive any of these, so I have no opinion of them
Shitboxes are loved by /o/. We like to say they have character. We beat them to hell, and they somehow still go another 50k miles. When brand new with 4 miles on the odometer, we smugly donned these vehicles "econoboxes". But they matured, such as a fine wine does. They surived to 300k miles with minimal repairs. Just like a soldier earns the Purple Heart, our "econoboxes" earned their reputation as the "shitbox". There are a few cars that will always be known as great little shitboxes: the Toyota Corolla, our beloved Twingo, and America's frontrunner, The Geo Metro.
The Geo Metro was conceived much the same way I was: during a 4am cocaine fueled grope session in the back seat of an AMC Gremlin.
The year was 1987. A few Detroit executives who were down on their luck decided that we need a car designed for real human beans. A car that would love its 8th owner more than its original buyer. A car that had seen 3 oil changes its first 100k miles, but now is pampered by synthetic blend every 2,999 miles. Sunroof? Fuck that! 4 cylinders? Nope! We want 4 wheels, 3 cylinders, 2 doors, and one goddamn good car.
Thus the 1989 Geo Metro was born. It reigned supreme for decades, much like a dictator in Asia. Jay Leno owns 7 Geo Metros in case you forgot. The Geo Metro is the only car to win at Monza, Laguna Seca, Silverstone, and Talladega. Ford and Chrysler appealed to the US government in 1990, saying that production of the Geo Metro created an unfair advantage for GM. Unfortunately for Ford and Chrysler, 98% of the members of Congress drove Geo Metros and loved them to death. The Geo Metro placed 4th in the 1992 Presidential election behind Ross Perot.
Some say the Chevrolet Aveo was the successor to the Geo Metro, but I refuse to believe. Nothing can ever succed over the Geo Metro when it comes to its main purpose: being a spectacular shitbox.

Geo Metro a shit
Corolla is always superior

What semi realistic driving game lets me handle cars with the mouse?
I've got a few good racing games, but i have no steering wheel (poorfag, lets not get into that subject) But when i tried Netkar i kinda did ok with a mouse, although still slower than people with a wheel.
What other games can give me a pretty good simulation of car physics while still using a mouse? I dont have the money to get AC, Netkar is fucking dead, i dont have money for iracing, and playing beamng with a mouse fucking sucks.
>>17169559
LFS
just get Forza and a used xbox dude. Assetto Corsa is shit and has no cars.
>>17169572
Already had it (license S2 pirated) and tried it. It was fun, but the game is fucking dead, most cars aren't that interesting, AI sucks and there aren't that many people playing. Also lack of modding.
LFS is a game in its death bed trying to say that they still have a few years left because they dont need a machine to help them drink water.
>>17169597
No money.
