Do cars have feelings? Do you treat your car like it does?
i dont have autism, no
>>17178412
Don't lie.
This is now a depress thread.
12K for four cars, not a bad deal imo. Would you buy them? Think about it, for the price of a bare minimum car, you get four totally different vehicles, each one with a specific use, perfect for any one occasion.
Between the four, you could get away with less than 2000 miles a year on each vehicle if you drive like an average american - and the fuel economy will be good too. If one breaks down - no rush to fix it!
If you don't die in an accident, this may be among the most affordable way to get around...

This is epic
Yes. Would get immediately if I had the room. You've got every car you need there.

Please help me /o/...
I recently got a good job and can finally afford to get a new car.
Here's the thing tho... I'm not really a "car guy". I've never really been into cars, I just use mine to get from point A to point B. (I do like driving tho...)
I'm considering buying a 2017 Civic, but I don't know if I should. Out of all the new cars, I think its the nicest. And the only one I like desu.
Or should I buy a 201X Corolla from Carmax instead? I've driven a 1996 Corolla for like the past 7 years so anything would be an improvement desu.
What should I do /o/?
bump
>what should i get for car k thx
CarMax is a shit tier seller. Their prices are usual over book value, and their financing rate sucks
>T. Someone who works in auto finance.
Are motorized bicycles considered /o/, /n/, or /tg/? they seem like they'd be a bit of fun tinkering for one who can't afford an actual baiku
>>17177529
You can probably buy a beat to shit motorcycle for what you would pay out for that.
Regardless they're gay. And cyclists are horrible people.
>>17177529
most have absolutely horrid chinese engines. That said I have seen people put a well tuned pipe on them and make some power, but putting any sort of power to the ground with bicycle tires seems sketch.
>>17177529
If you're in Aus they're classified as a motorbike so its /o/
Ask a service advisor at subaru anything
(BTW i drive an EVO)
>>17177480
>service advisor
what does that even mean?
>>17177486
He writes on a computer what service or repairs a car needs and tries to sell tires, brakes, and other shit to customers
>t. service advisor at a Ford dealer
>>17177486
He books appointments for the mechanics
should i import a nice 180sx or a shit r34 GTT?
>>17177360
nice 180.
>>17177360
shit r34 if you're concerned about status, turning heads, or overall having some obscure rare stuff.
nice 180 if you want one with lower miles compared to one you can get in the US for less money
>>17177360
i would personally get a 180.
What is the best German car brand? I think it's Audi. Best interiors, best tech, best handling. The designs are a little bit bland but who really cares.
>>17177310
I like Audi designs because they're subtle. That's the word you're looking for, not 'bland'. it's classy. it feels premium and looks premium without being flashy or attention grabbing.
that said Mercedes is still my favorite. Followed by Porsche.
Porsche if you like fun
Mercedes if you like luxury
Porsche
I live in an apartment complex and my lease agreement says we cant work on our own cars in the car port.
Where can I go to work on my car. The local autozone doesnt allow work in the parking lot. Maybe a local gas station?
>>17177224
>I live in an apartment complex and my lease agreement says we cant work on our own cars in the car port.
And you signed that shit before finding out?
You're fucked nigger.
>>17177224
A lot of shops will let you rent garage space. You just need to call around and see what's available in your area. It's usually pretty expensive but it's worth finding out about.
You can do work on the street in industrial areas or shit neighborhoods.
ITT: Post cars you like even if no one else likes them.
Mine: Veloster. I can't help it, I just want one. Everyone excludes this from the list of good hot hatches and I don't even care.
>>17177216
why do you like it?
looks?
it sure as hell shouldn't be speed/acceleration or handling
>>17177216

>been driving for Uber in Melbourne, straya
>first week went ok, got about $370 for driving a few nights on the weekend
>hear I gotta get an ABN and start paying GST as well as the 20% Uber jews out of every trip
>also hear online I should change my car insurance policy to cover ride sharing
>be with Coles insurance, full comp
>ring them up, ask if they cover ridesharing
>they say no, and I have 14 days to find another insurer that covers ride sharing
What the fuck m8s. Any of you m8s do this/have driven for Uber in Melbourne?
>>17177142
In the US, Uber insures you while you have a fare. Are you sure you aren't covered already?
>>17177142
Why did you tell Coles you were doing Uber? Should have just said you were thinking about it.
>>17177142
Did you actually tell your insurer that you were doing uber?
You should never tell an insurance company that you have done something, just tell them that you're thinking of it and want to question them over it.
I'm lookin for a sweet ride for under 2k. Give me what got /o/.
>>17177103

>>17177103
Miata is always the answer.
Seriously, there are probably 10 for sale within an hour's drive of you and some are likely 2 grand. They're everywhere.
>>17177103
i really like this hotline miami picture.
oh, and miata.
sup /o/, /fit/ here
Looking for a quick daily driver. Nothing stupid, I want it to be reliable and have relatively low miles. I can spend 15k-20k. Options I am thinking about:
1: 1998-2003 Camaro Z28, You can find them on ebay with 30,000-40,000 miles on them for 10k. Get it checked out, new clutch + intake + fuel pump/injectors+ procharger+tune (~$8000) = 18k for 400hp 6speed rwd daily driver that will go for 100,000 miles without major issues.
2: 2009-2014 low mile GTI (~$17K) + APR stage 2 tune and downpipe (+2k) = 325hp 6 speed daily driver that runs the quarter in low 13s and will go another 100,000 miles without major issue
What do you think Camaro or GTI?
Are there any other options in this price range I could hunt down with low miles and get good power out of..(besides a mustang) that would be a good daily driver? I like forced induction and manuals.
03-04 Cobra 20k under 50k miles. Forced induction, easy to make power out of and will probably go up in value if you don't nigger it.
>>17176104
ranger
>>17176104
what's wrong with mustangs?
What does /o/ think of the Lexus IS250 RWD manual?
Around 200hp, 30 hwy mpg, comfy, under $10k. It'd mainly be a luxury commuter. Maybe a little fun on the weekends, but obviously not a track beast.
I am gay man
>>17176102
gay as fuck and expensive to repair
>not a track beast
not a track anything
No personal experience but anyone who has written a review says it's boring, not quick enough to be sporty
Hi. My clutch pedal was going to the floor in my e36. So i bled the slave cylinder and nothing changed and barely any fluid came out. So i replaced the slave cylinder(after dropping the tranny to get a bolt i dropped because e36s have a ****ing glaring design flaw with how the slave is installed) and i got nothing but air when i bled it. So i replaced the master cylinder and noticed there wasn't any fluid coming out of the hose to the resevoir so i sucked on it with a shop vac to try to fix the clog (?) and barely got any fluid out. I thought maybe it's normal so I just installed the master cylinder and bled it. No fluid still from the slave cylinder. Wtf do i need to do to make my fucjing shitbox work
>>17176096
same reservoir for the brake master cylinder or is it separate?
>>17176192
Same resevoir. Odd note: when i was vacuuming the line i felt suction when i put my hand over the fill hole of the resevoir with the cap off, but little fluid is sucked
>>17176245
How much of the clutch line are you able to see? I recall my G35 had a fucking loop in the clutch hardline and that made bleeding it a retarded 3 man job.
I wonder if its a lack of flow issue due to a blockage at your reservoir or is it corrosion or something causing a blockage en route from your clutch master cylinder to the slave. See how much of the lines you can disconnect and verify that they are not leaking and they're not blocked solid with some sort of junk.
