I was minding my own business in my house when I heard the screech of tires against the pavement and then a loud crash. I looked outside to see that this massive pickup-truck had crashed into the back of one of the cars parked on the side of the street. The pickup then sped away and I didn't catch the licenses plate number.
I did notice that the pickup was unusually large and had 2 of these strange plastic spike looking things attached to the bottom front of the truck. It also left a good amount of plastic debris on the side of the road after the crash, so I'm assuming some part of the body must have been made out of plastic.
I don't know much about pickup trucks, but I want to give my neighbor as much info as possible on what happened, so I was wondering if /o/ could help me narrow down the possible make and model of the truck.

Why would you ever exceed the speed limit? The maximum limit in most places is 100 kmh. No one ever needs to go faster than that and those who choose to exceed the limit are putting themselves and others in danger. Perhaps new regulations should be put into place that prohibit automobile manufacturers from designing vehicles that are capable of exceeding 100 kmh in order to stop motorists from speeding.

is there a particular name or term that covers racing like Formula D and other competition around the world that use regular cars tricked out by different part manufacturers and often featuring excessive decals? Nascar and F1 tend to refer to a large group of racing but i cant seem to find any such term that would cover racing without a standardized set of cars used.

Objectively false. Stancefags ride on a tiny contact patch of rubber that wasn't even meant to touch asphalt when they designed the tire. They have little to no traction above 30mph and wear their tires down to the bands every 50 miles.
The only way an /o/ shitbox could be less safe is if it's driving on tires that are COMPLETELY bald, or the brake lines are so rusted they could pop any minute. Even very low tires with a tiny bit of tread left have more traction than stancefags.

ST i presume ?, those little fuckers are reliable little cars and fun as fuck to drive in corners, i owned a 2008 fiesta S diesel and gave it to my mother once i bought my merc. all you need to check for is the general stuff from any used car. Noises, rust, service history ( timing belt, oil changes, accessory belt) if it has a custom sub or anything like that check the wiring if its done by an idiot or not. check in the uhh that little book with the manual and all if you have a radio code, if you change the battery it'll lock you out otherwise. try to get a second set of wheels/tyres for that price and don't forget to haggle for any dent/scratch/rust spot, bretty much anything.
got mine for 3200€ and it had 107.000km. it was bretty beat up tho but it was cheap to fix since i work at a paintshop

Manual transmission is just more fun and can get better mpg. FWD is just bad for performance on a track but in reality unless you live in Canada or somewhere that snows a lot you don't need AWD but more horsepower is just more fun having that feeling of getting thrusted back into your seat when you step on it is what it's all about. Your not going to get 18k from a 2013 CRV unless it's low miles and you sell privately OP
