Welcome to Offroad and Overland general. Spring cleaning edition.
Spring is here so that means more /out/ content and hopefully some more people who overland their rigs. Man I haven't started one of these threads in months

Is a GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon a good vehicle?
>>17133987
Absolutely. What are you going to use it for, though?
FUCK
Gonna buy a 2.0l camaro. Are youre jimmies rustled?
>>17163773
but why
>>17163773
Why would we care what you spend your money on?
They have a 4cyl Camaro now?
>this is a 2017 Mercedes mid size SUV
Literally looks like a CLA class
That's a really horrible interior. Why people pay almost 6 figures for that is beyond me. Even a low end GM SUV has less of that horrific textured black plastic.

why don't you just suck his cock already
Want me to give you a nightcall? You can tell me how you feel, if you want.
If an engine is firing at 18,000rpm, does this mean each piston is going 18,000rpm, or is it divided by the amount of cylinders there are?
18,000 divided by v10 = 1,800 rpm for each cylinder.
Yes, each piston is completing one traversal up and down the the cylinder for every rotation (of the crankshaft) per minute. No division required.
Yes, that's how they keep the feet per minute down.
Any piston travelling over 4500 fpm is pushing it.
>>17157510
So at 18,000 rpm every cylinder fires 150 times per second? Isn't that an absolutely insane frequency? How is it even possible for a cylinder to complete an entire four stroke cycle in 6.7 milliseconds? And if you have a six cylinder engine it's one cylinder firing nearly every millisecond? This can't be right.

Just had a Traxxas Jato 3.3 given to me. Haven't drove it yet cause I need fuel
This isn't a thread for 3 people no one fucking cares about
this is a thread about cars, chicks, booze and THE BEST COUNTRY ON EARTH
I just went for a run up to yarra blvd did about 10 fast pace laps before cops showed up. Car currently needs new tyres because I just bought it and it has a mixmatched tyre set up and they are close to bald giving me nothing but oversteer (pic very related)
What are you lads planning for this winter?
>heading up to snow with mates who have never been prob take em to bulla

At least some good came of that faggy "No pursuit" bullshit our cops have to follow. Did they get your plate?
I'm going to buy a Commodore on the weekend.
I'm excited.
Gonna get a track beater soon.
Maybe backyard turbo it and whack some coilovers on the cunt as well.
Is the Continental the closest thing to the comfy land cruisers of old?

How badly is Ford doing that they have to hire professional shills for fucking 4chan?
>>17162290
>implying he doesn't do it for free
Why is every single car based YouTuber act so cringeworty and sound like they're trying to break the world record of how many dicks they can shove up their assholes?
>ITT: OP is mad that people are trying to break his record
Takes one to know one, OP
>>17162258
The only good "car youtuber" is probably savegegeese. He does honest reviews and is one of the few that cares whats inside(and below) the car.
What would you have done differently?

Is there any reason to putting your traffic lights on a cable suspended above the road?
What's the difference between a 911 GT3 and the 911 Turbo?
And why are there so many models for the 911?
>>17161571
Turbo
>AWD
>Full fat interior and creature comforts
>Turbocharged
>Slightly wider track
GT3
>RWD
>Stripped interior with structural enhancements
>NA high revving
>Narrower track (excluding GT3 RS)
>>17161571
Turbo= has a turbo, more power
Gt3 =NA, more focus on driving dynamics
t-the gt2 911 is faster than the gt3, r-right?
NANI!??!??!!??
