>extremely aggressive gearing
>small engine 1.6 liter, which you can drive well in low RPM to get incredible fuel economy
>when you step on it, it was an incredible amount of force on the wheels
>RWD
>leaf spring rear suspension, front coil overs, best combination.
>haul up to 1 ton! of cargo, 1000 fucking kilos, thats 2200 pounds!!!!!!
>if you carry some weight on the rear axle, it drives awesome, you can even drift in it!!!
the only issue, if you crash you are dead. other than that, its the perfect car

This is my 13,000$ golden monkey.
Im about to pull the engine and put a bigger pistion and better 4v head, a 5 speed gear set and a yoshimura carburetor.
Also new shocks and an extended swing arm are on the way as well. Its always under construction i guess.

It's a pretty good truck, actually.
Traded my old reliable Tundra in for one, love the ride quality and the ride height. Some outdated shit I don't like about it is that it has manual reclining seats and the bluetooth takes a little time loading in mine. Overall, it's a good truck.

Don't know if I could spend decently loaded Silverado or F150 money on a not even 300hp V6 truck. Yeah that ridiculous resale is nice but you can still get much more truck for your buck going domestic.

Why can't any modern domestic "american" trucks achieve 1 million miles with it's original gasoline engine? Why is it that Toyota is able to do this but not the big three? Let's not forget that both the Tundra and the Tacoma destroys the big three in reliability.

What car are you looking to buy right now, new or used? I'm sure most of us are looking for one. What sites are you checking, and how is your search going so far?
Just curious.
I'm looking for a Focus SVT, 02-04ish, 3 door, in good condition, with fewer than 100k miles, in any color other than silver or red. This is fucking impossible to find, haven't found a single one with <100k miles, but I know some on /o/ have found them in the past so I'm being patient. No one sells them because everyone who has one keeps them. Also keeping my eye out for other cheap early to mid 00's hatches; Civic Si, GTI, Maaaybe a Mazda3, etc. I wouldn't even mind a decent EK9 Civic but apparently those get stolen a lot.
But the Focus SVT is the one I want the most. (Unless I win the lottery or get a sudden promotion, then I'll just get a new ST.)
How about you, /o/? Sick of browsing craigslist yet?

I got a 2005 with 147k and it runs perfectly fine. muffler is rusting off and the rockers are fucked though.
