This is the best car in the world, I am fucking serious. If you ever had one, you know what I am talking about. Share your experiences. Here is some short list of great features.
>extremely aggressive gearing
>small engine 1.6 liter, which you can drive well in low RPM to get incredible fuel economy
>when you step on it, it was an incredible amount of force on the wheels
>RWD
>leaf spring rear suspension, front coil overs, best combination.
>haul up to 1 ton! of cargo, 1000 fucking kilos, thats 2200 pounds!!!!!!
>if you carry some weight on the rear axle, it drives awesome, you can even drift in it!!!
the only issue, if you crash you are dead. other than that, its the perfect car

>>17169427
It didn't sell well enough. They are planning to stop production.
too sporty for out shitty bumpy roads?
>>17169427
probably because it competes for sales with the Beetle.

S12 Turbo
Been saving $500 a month for almost a year now and eating at least one meal a day of ramen noodles to save on food while trying to save up for my dream car. About a year away from my goal but it'll be mine!! Going to start with a 350z Track edition and swap in a LS1
This is my 13,000$ golden monkey.
Im about to pull the engine and put a bigger pistion and better 4v head, a 5 speed gear set and a yoshimura carburetor.
Also new shocks and an extended swing arm are on the way as well. Its always under construction i guess.

Poor Geo
>>17168632
I wouldn't say poor, with all those mods the owner must be rich.
There's a kia some tard riced out in my works lot, he blacked out the badge and put a fart can on it. Also a riced out frs with a YHUGE wing, fuckin need for speed style. I'll take pics in a bit when I go out to smoke, be back later bbz
What are ya'lls opinion on ownership?
Buy an extra 10 frames.
>>17168019
It's a pretty good truck, actually.
Traded my old reliable Tundra in for one, love the ride quality and the ride height. Some outdated shit I don't like about it is that it has manual reclining seats and the bluetooth takes a little time loading in mine. Overall, it's a good truck.
>>17168019
Don't know if I could spend decently loaded Silverado or F150 money on a not even 300hp V6 truck. Yeah that ridiculous resale is nice but you can still get much more truck for your buck going domestic.
WTF, I love Hyundai now!
no you don't.
Hyundai interiors are pretty comfy these days.
>>17167774
This, they may look nice these days but they dont hold up for shit.
What's an AWD hatch, crossover, or large sedan that doesn't cost more than 90% of people could ever hope to afford and that could cruise at 95-100mph or higher on highways for 50+ miles without overheating or getting 1mpg?
answer me you fat fucking bus pass faggots

Not sold in the US, where I am.
Is the 86 reliable and cheap to maintain like a Camry?
It's more like a Corolla
>>17167679
>>17167706
It's nothing like either of them. Just because it has a toyota badge doesn't mean its a toyota. The thing is literally 90% Subaru inside, Subaru engine, transmission and all.
It's more akin to the reliability of almost any Subaru by comparison
>>17167679
Its an ancient subaru engine in a toyota what do you think?

Single best way to both trigger jealous poorfags and project an adolescent desire for attention. Literally poorman-wants-to-look-rich car.

Why can't any modern domestic "american" trucks achieve 1 million miles with it's original gasoline engine? Why is it that Toyota is able to do this but not the big three? Let's not forget that both the Tundra and the Tacoma destroys the big three in reliability.
>inb4 framerust and floor-mat recall
Is the Tundra and Tacoma, dare I say, the KING OF TRUCKS?
toyota truck

I'm pretty sure tundra is made in texas
Doesn't matter when the test of the vehicle is shit by 150000
All the big mile guys run diesel. So who cares about Yoda?
What car are you looking to buy right now, new or used? I'm sure most of us are looking for one. What sites are you checking, and how is your search going so far?
Just curious.
I'm looking for a Focus SVT, 02-04ish, 3 door, in good condition, with fewer than 100k miles, in any color other than silver or red. This is fucking impossible to find, haven't found a single one with <100k miles, but I know some on /o/ have found them in the past so I'm being patient. No one sells them because everyone who has one keeps them. Also keeping my eye out for other cheap early to mid 00's hatches; Civic Si, GTI, Maaaybe a Mazda3, etc. I wouldn't even mind a decent EK9 Civic but apparently those get stolen a lot.
But the Focus SVT is the one I want the most. (Unless I win the lottery or get a sudden promotion, then I'll just get a new ST.)
How about you, /o/? Sick of browsing craigslist yet?
(pic related: has 140k miles. too many to feel comfortable with)
>>17164583
Pretty solid choices, anon.
I'm not seriously looking now, but a first gen CRX that's not >50% rust would be cool.
>>17164604
OH shit, I would love a CRX so much, but I really need a daily driver so I don't know about that. It's an amazing car though.
>>17164583
>has 140k miles. too many to feel comfortable with
I got a 2005 with 147k and it runs perfectly fine. muffler is rusting off and the rockers are fucked though.
