Alright anons, time for some real talk. We're a little over halfway through 2017 and ever since about early 2016 there's been a major increase of "le fandom iz ded XD" and doomposters creating a negative vibe that seems to be affecting other anons boardwide.
It's widely agreed upon that our glory days are over and some of the more popular brony content creators have moved on to other projects over the years, but why assume the entire fandom is dead? We are way more united as a fandom now that the hardcore fans are here to say and we still have many social events and content creators that are willing to make things as long as there is a market for them. And as for the show itself we've still be receiving quality episodes that most agree on being some of the better ones in the series, not to mention a movie coming up in October.
I won't deny the fact that we are smaller as not only a board but a fandom too, but why still spam a meme that doesn't hold much validity to it? Do we need to blow this up into a bigger issue to bring attention to this problem so mods can hopefully notice and bring a stop to it? This is nothing more than a problem that shouldn't be occurring, even if it's meant to be ironicwhich I doubt it is.
You guys are sick of seeing these types of threads, I realize this. But until something is done then these will keep appearing until the fandom really does hit a major decline. Why not improve quality now until that time actually comes?
