I've seen literally every reviewer out there hate this aspect of writing Pinkie. I don't get it, besides the journal was season 4 which was a particularly good season for Pinkie writing wise so this makes no goddamned sense

Why was the journal so tattered and weathered? Was season 4 70 years ago or something?
Also the absence of the bookmarks lends credence to my assumption that Pinkie's friendship badge is indeed made from the bookmarks originally taken from the journal.

When I first heard this, it was when I was catching up with the seasons when I first got on the ride, at that point I passed it off as something stupid that ended a pretty good finale with a mediocre, at best, song
A few weeks later I was going through a random assortment of pony songs trying to find some new ones to enjoy, then I clicked on this one not remembering what it was until it was too late
I had fuck all to do so I listened, it went from mediocre to alright after that and I decided to save it for some reason, after listening to it a few more times afterwards I got more into the beat and the lyrics behind it and now I thoroughly enjoy it

Just started re-watching the show again at the mid point of season 6. Spike has been written surprisingly well for the changling/discord episode, but the older sisters in carts before the ponies were written abysmally. How good is the rest of season 6 and season 7?
