You mean contemporary?
I'd also like to know of any areas like this so that I can avoid them at all costs.

Also, why do I rarely see discussions about new books or promising young authors here? Does it take so much time to settle for discussion-worth literature?

I'm terrible at the English language, how do I start writing stories?
just wait until the wall gets built motherfucker. Just wait.
by trying in your own language
>>8698916
Write in your mother tongue. If you're a native English speaker who sucks at it anyway, read a lot and write a lot. Both will help. There is no real useful how-to write other than just doing it. The best advice I can give is make sure you aren't doing it lazily, put real effort into improving every time you write, make your practice count.
