Write in your mother tongue. If you're a native English speaker who sucks at it anyway, read a lot and write a lot. Both will help. There is no real useful how-to write other than just doing it. The best advice I can give is make sure you aren't doing it lazily, put real effort into improving every time you write, make your practice count.

Second this question. Are there any good books on how to write good texts in general, not necessarily fiction? Seems like The Elements of Style by Strunk and On Writing by King are the most common suggestions, anything else noteworthy?
