So which rifle is the best one to get and please don't be messing around kicking over posts and all for all I wanna know is what is the best to get or should I just get both?
I really like them both but I want to know which one is actually best to have when everyone bends over and starts using the fan as the toilet if you actually smart enough to know what I mean?
Anyhow anyway let's cut the talk and get to the topic so which one should I get first or both or whatever post what you wanna post friend!
>>27944916
do you want a short stroke piston or a long stroke piston?
>>27944935
Short, long, anything friend anything that works best and find of almighty for I like a rifle that is true to the name and fun on the field for I am a man of excitement of mind and heart and I never felt great then ever.
>>27944959
Are you on crack?
ITT: we confess /k/ stuff
>i havent been shooting in over 3 months
>im almost completely out of ammo and no spare $$ in sight
I mostly shoot wax bullets through my guns.
>>27944778
ive only been shooting 3 times since sandy vagina
ran out of ammo during the last panic so ive just been buying cheap stacking deep the past 2 years
>>27944814
Why don't you order it?
Also... sucks for you. Dicks by my house is fully stocked.
I've got a problem /k/. I'm fairly small California girl being stalked by a guy with at least an M16 and 1911 in 10mm. Local police think I should get a handgun and CCW permit because I'm a good shot with a .22 rifle.
The problem is I can't handle the recoil from a 9mm glock 17 and can barely handle the recoil from .38 special from a large .357 magnum revolver (Ruger GP100). I don't think that would have enough stopping power to keep me alive. Does /k/ know of any guns that might stop the bad guy from raping and/or murdering me that won't break my wrists in the process?
>>27944651
>has an m16
Go out with him you idiot he obviously is filthy rich
>>27944651
>literally cannot handle 9mm recoil
Are girls really this fucking bad? I could handle .38 special when I was a noodly armed 14 year old for Christ's sake
I dunno, just get fucking something. Bullets are bullets and are enough to make a guy more deader, you'll just maybe need more of them. But that's the price you pay for being too much of a pussy to handle even 9mm
>>27944651
Nugget bolt in pooper or gtfo.
Would a war belt be good at supporting a bad back?
Im used to wearing a weight lifting belt and it helps my injury.
Just curious about the the belt supporting the weight of all the mags and gear as well as supporting back
What are these war belts? Like a nylon version of leather police duty belts?
>>27944628
Bigger, covered in pals webbing for molle stuff.
I think wearing them high enough to compress the lower spine and belly is too high for a battle belt, but that's not to say people don't do it. If you're doing a drop down holster you might be able to get away with it.
Regardless, it is a great way to load up without stressing your spine like a plate carrier or chest rig would. I would suggest that if your back is in that sort of condition, you probably shouldn't be doing the type of exercises that are used with those setups (or battle belts), regardless of how you're carrying <10 lbs of gear.
So this arrived today...
>>27944383
It came from overseas.
>>27944383
OUT WITH IT!
>>27944383
>inb4 box of brown underwear
Why is armslist so retarded?
>>27944293
200 is about the average going rate for a Mosin now. So with 160 rounds and a new case that isn't a terrible deal. Not great but not as bad as some I have seen.
>>27944293
With the extras it's not too outrageous.

What a horrible time to be alive
Good evening /k/ommandos, I would like to start this optics general thread with a question: ACOG.....
>>27944221
.....Or EoTech with magnifier? For an AR-15.
>>27944221
Is this even a question?
Get the acog
>>27944221
Neither. Get a Burris AR-332 and spend the money you save on another AR.
How do we stop china from growing larger?
I'm with the chinks, they pay me to post. USA step up your game.
>>27944290
they have so many drones too
>US in charge of drone warfare
>>27944194
We have to kill their bulldozers of course.
Anyone else get a 107UR?
Nope, always thought it seemed pretty cool. Maybe I'm a fucking idiot but 7.62x39 strikes me as a better cartridge choice for such a small barrel, assuming you intend to SBR it. Less reliant on velocity, less likely to keyhole.
>>27944156
The 107UR is 7.62x39 ya dingus
>>27945150
Did he say it wasnt?
No i wont be getting one. Already have an 104ur i cut the barrel on.
Pic Related is up for grabs near me for $1300 dollarydoos.
Comes with scope, bore-sighter, and 200 rounds.
It'll be my first gun. Should I?
Nope
>>27944038
>Grizzley Big Bore
>.50 BMG
Have fun developing flinch and other shit. You'll never like guns if you do it this way.
Unless it's a Nightforce scope on it, then buy it, remove scope, sell gun for $500.
I have no use for a gun that you have to take apart to reload.
What are your thoughts on the 9x18 Makarov. Suitable for edc? Anyone personally carry this gun? Discuss.
It should carry just fine, I'd probably just decock it and run it double action with the safety off personally cause I'm a lefty.
Finding a good holster might be a bitch, and you wanna watch the finish.
Now lets argue about hollowpoints vs fmj in 9x18 for ccw.
I wish 9x18 got the same love from ammo manufactures as shitty .380 did.
>>27943999
Plenty of people started using them for CCW back when they flooded the market and many still do now, if that tell a you anything.
It is a reliable firearm and would be suitable for edc....however I would not carry one. But if its all you can afford/have than by all means carry it.
has anyone form1'ed a suppressor with sdta or similar components?
if so does it work well?
what length?
how many baffles?
caliber?
how did you cut spacers?
how did you go about the blast chamber?
what material?
nobody?
i guess most decent folk are out tonight i guess?
dont worry everyone, im discussing it with myself at home.
im wondering if i go with a 5.6" can, could i use it on a "16 .308 im wanting to make a do it all spresor.
we could talk about griffin armaments new can that is suppose to do it all.
it seems pretty cool.
has anyone looked at it?
Is the 92 composed of higher quality material?
>>27943837
no. they're 99% identical. I think the m9 might still have a steel guide rod and trigger, and no warning label, but I could easily be wrong.
>>27943837
I know the Italian made guns have a metal recoil spring guide rod. The US-made ones--at least for commercial sale--have a plastic recoil spring guide rod.
That having been said, I've never heard of a problem with one of the plastic parts. Locking blocks chip and crack, the trigger can fail to reset in SA if the trigger return spring wears (or is not reinstalled exactly correctly by the armorer during depot service), parkerized mag tubes attract dust and can cause feeding problems in areas with a lot of fine Afghan style "moon dust," but never a problem with recoil spring guides.
>>27943896
you can also just pick up a steel guide rod for like $7 if you're at all worried about it.
Think of all
>the home built suppressor made in someone garage, finding out what works
>all the experiments with barrel lengths
>guys will be niggeriging wierd full auto guns like a full auto Benelli m4 or a full auto spaz 12
What would you experiment making full auto if nfa didn't exist bonus point if full auto Fudd rifle.
This full auto will be a great project
>>27943829
Suppressors would probably be noticeably better and far cheaper without regulation allowing the free market to develop new and better designs. I would go as far as saying that suppresors would be a standard thing on all firearms mil leo and civ much like muzzle devices are now.
Also factory full auto ARs and ajs would probably be a lot cheaper and ubiquitous amoung gun owners.
>>27943829
>"lol u poorfag- I bet you only paid $200 for that piece of shit"
>"all these people with sub-optimal short barrels need to into terminal ballistics"
>"folding stock really? What are you some mall-ninja quick draw faggot"
>"Why don't you have full auto? To much of a jew to invest in ammo or are you just too poor?"
I found a local instructor for "tactical" shooting.
Its a 75 buck class, and I think it would be interesting to actually shoot from barricades, different positions, etc.
Im tired of shooting while standing still at an indoor range
What are the down sides to me taking this course besides me losing 75 bucks
>mfw i see price
That's cheap as shit, even if it's a waste of time you still got some shooting in from positions you normally wouldn't.
>>27943819
Does the guy know his shit? Chances are it's going to consist of this
>NO NO NO STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING
>Do it like this, I watched a magpul video so I know my shit
>bro, trust me I was in the army/marines
>that might work for you, sure but fuck you I don't like it so do it my way
>do this retarded shit
>didn't you know I "train" cops?
>alright pay me 75 faggot
You're better off spending that money on ammo
For that cheap, go for it. Just remember it's probably cheap for a reason.
