Hi guys, thanks for tuning into another YouTube gun channel thread, at 4chan dot org. I'm anon, and today we're taking a look at some of the channels up for sale at /k/'s December 2015 premier auction. A couple of channels jumped out at me, cause frankly they're a bit out of the ordinary. There's a lot to look at on these two so why don't I bring the camera around and show you guys what makes them a bit different.
ITT post your favorite gun related youtube channels. I personally like to keep it simple; I mostly watch Forgotten Weapons, Pat MacNamara when he posts, and Vickers Tactical once in a blue moon.
Also Ian thread
Bumping with more Ian.
Always watching forgotten weapons but I always find myself watching CarnikCon... Wishing for a cure
didja know Ian has a gunsmithing channel too?

oh, and I fuckin love Larry Potterfield, one day I'll kidnap him and drink his elbow grease to gain his power.
>Tfw no mini BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT
Why didn't it get improved upon and had its accuracy fixed? It's essentially a four-barreled GAU-8 in a gunpod.

Because there is a superior solution already.
NEVA BEEN DUN BEFO!

So, what's keeping one from mounting 5 of these on an A-10 for MOAR DAKKA. If 4,200 RPM is good, 16,200 RPM should be better.
>>27947927
Fucking what? It's not additive.
The womanz is a nurse and is working 16 hours today, plus its snowing like a mother fucker out (wisco fag) Who else gets bored and cleans their guns? Next up is the ar.
she did good yesterday. I have successfully converted an anti gunner to a pro gunner. She bought her first pistol yesterday

What would it take to form a PMC in the United States to stop beaners from bringing in drugs? Militias, CBP, and local smokies are either inept or inept AND underequipped.

I like my girls as I like my Whiskey

So fuck you, get your ass raped by cartels if that's your thing, just don't bleed on the powder.

Anyway that's probably the only way for your semen to interact with another human body
Is there any way to remotely detonate tannerite without shooting it?
>>27947052
I don't know
>>27947052
i'm sure a blasting cap would work
>>27947052
Nice try mr ATF.
Now I know all you kids are all into the Glocks and the ARs these days but dangnabit I just don't see what's wrong with a good old lever action. Theses old guns killed more Injuns than you could shake a stick at by gum and if it was good enough for the cowboys it was good enough for me!

How thorough is the conversion of AK rifles from select-fire to full auto?
Specifically interested in how military AKs are converted in Europe (Belgium).
>>27946746
How's it like working for the ATF?
>>27946755
>Specifically interested in how military AKs are converted in Europe (Belgium).
I'm asking because my politicians seem to think it's 'easy' to convert them back to full auto.
I own a Vz58 that was converted from full auto to semi, and the conversion involved grinding entire bits of metal away.
So converting it back to full auto is practically impossible.
I just want to know what the AK conversion is like.
Besides, this question doesn't apply to the US at all, because you can't have converted full autos at all afaik.

What is /k/s opinion on mercenaries? If you were to join a merc group (preferably american or at the least english speaking) which group and for what reasons?
Oh! And which one would be most likely to send you to the sandbox?
Would joining a US Mikitary group be better for sandbox ops?
Triple Canopy
G4S
Erinys
Dyncorp
Aegis Defence Services
Academi
Nothing at all? I thought /k/ would have some good info to share or at least an opinion. If theres nothing to be said i'll go elswhere.
Complete gun noob. Found this in my father's attic. With my extremly limited knowledge I can assume this is a rifle from ww2 era. Anyone able to tell me more about it?

looks like a Lee Enfield SMLE No1MkIII
British Lee-Enfield SMLE Mk.III*.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee%E2%80%93Enfield
Look on the metal ring under the bolt handle for the manufacturer's rollmark.

Lee Enfield No1Mk3 British service rifle from WWI and II.
Cool find.
I don't get it /k/
if a good knife will last a lifetime, why do so many people buy new ones, or own a heap of them?
why get a new gerber when you could get an old one?
there are so many milsurp knifes out there, and they were made from high quality steel, so you can re-grind the blade
on the other end of the spectrum I bought 6 opinel no8's, because I can treat them like shit and if they break I can just throw them out
I an do things that wreck a knife, and not have to care
surprisingly I'm still on my first after two years, I thought it would snap, the wood would get fucked, it would sieze up; but no.
>>27946628
>why do so many people buy new ones, or own a heap of them?
same as with guns - because so many people just like collecting them.
As for me, I go for roles: a sturdy folding knife for EDC, a Mora for general work, and a BK2 for heavy duty. I guess I could add a combat knife on top of that, for whenever you're out of ammo or need a stealth takedown, but never could be arsed to (and never needed to).
>>27946628
I'm a collector but I agree with you.
The only knives I have bought new are the ones I always use.
The rest I always try to buy second hand. No matter how cheap I can get a new knife from a store, if it's for the collection I'd rather get second hand , even if pristine, from a private seller.
Any high quality knife will be perfectly serviceable even if it has been heavily used, and unless some retard fucked it up real bad I'm always happy to have them. For example, people that can't justify buying a Fällkniven for 300$ should probably do great with a second hand one and have 0 problems with it, even if it isnt aesthetically perfect.
Also as you say, many brands includin Gerber, Cold Steel, SOG.. etc have declined in quality over the years, and getting old models will generaly be a great idea. Carbon V SRK, SOG SEAL 2000 or Gerber Yari are examples of this.

You ever skinned a deer with the knife in your picture?
That's why you need more then one knife
I'm very Interested in CCW, currently looking at Kahr PM9's, Kimber Solo's, and Sig 938's.
Does anyone have tips/advice on these? Any recommendations?
Basically I want a quality deep concealment 9mm.
Must haves.
-9mm
-More than 6 rounds.
-Reliable
Would be very nice if,
-American made and designed
-Has night sights
-Is metal framed
-Generally regarded as high quality.
Under 1200 pls
Bonus Info
I live in South Florida, and never wear jeans/work pants. I'm always in shorts or when I'm working, a suit.
I'm already experienced with funz. This is just my first CC peice.
Have you considered the Kahr MK9? I've never shot it, but if it's metal framed you want, it might be worth a look.
I and a bunch of other /k/ommandos have p938s, and if you're cool with carrying cocked and locked, it's not a bad choice. thing is tiny.
>>27946863
My mom has a P938 and I like it, but my autism requires me to carry something different. And yeah the MK9 looks cool but I'm not sure about it due to the lack of reviews.
ok /k/, so I was innawoods and I found a tent set up deep in the Forrest with some dug in fortifications around it
the place hadn't been touched in years, inside the tent were spiders, lots of spiders
also a fire axe, portable heater, sleeping roll/pile of rags
around the place were some wire snares for rabits, but way too close to the camp to catch anything
then I find this knife driven right into a tree, I had to cut the tree down to get the knife out
it looks like pic related, but the guard is brass
one side is marked "rodger" with a second line under it unreadable
on the pommel in large, neat lettering is R.M.B
the other side of the blade has three lines of small text that I can't read, looks like
mag***
she****
********
I'd like to know if it's a real ww2 knife or a repro, and anything you guys can tell me about my innawoods knife
also the leather and handle cleaned up well, but I can't get the black off the blade
>>27946500
It's an old usn mki, that's all in know
>>27946507
I'm just unsure if it's real or not
>>27946630
Definitely looks real, I wouldn't try to restore it much, just oil it
Was up for $795 with night sights, wood grips and an extra clip. Springfield armory 1911.
They're like all the same man
>>27946486
OP here stupid auto correct changed my /k/omrades title.
Overpriced fudd tier trash
How boned is the gunship?
8 maybe 10
>>27946360
Unless the A-10 is parked, kiss your ass goodbye.
One on one, don't be silly.
Manpad vs AC130 is a more even match.
>>27946360
Honestly, not very
the A-10 is an air to ground attack plane so its not really suited for fighting another aircraft, plus look at the AC-130 , it can lay down accurate fire from more than a few miles so it could probably just kill the pilot from out of the A-10s attack range
What does /k/ think of the Leclerc
I heard it got 2 forward gears and 6 backward
>>27946329
It's a pretty shy tank.
More seriously, thanks to frenchfag we have pretty accurate infos on it.
>>27946329
