PTRs are fine. They had some issues several years ago when they tried using shallower flutes but they corrected that pretty quick. They're pretty great now and PTR's customer service is top tier.

Trigger issues, it's just in the nature, however you can get around that if you spend more $$
Sights are gonna be really close together if you even put BUIS on it, meaning the rifle is going to be less accurate. (most people I've seen have never even had them)
Earlier models have to use factory steyr mags
In my personal opinion, the magazine is harder to change in a hurry compared to standard pattern rifles.

I just got a 30 haven't shot it yet. It has trouble with the commie ammo except silver and golden bear. I got some wolf so I'll see how it does with that. People complain about the accuracy but if you bought a mini you got it to have fun not go to battle with. Which is the reason I got the 30 instead of the 14, I wanna see stuff explode when I hit it not just whiz right through it.

What this is: is a 3 day outdoor gathering. Attendees will enjoy 3 days of target shooting, camping out, cooking around the camp fire and meeting new friends. It's a great way to relieve day-to-day stress such as work and college.
What this is NOT: Any form of militia, anti-government association, politically, racially, or religiously affiliated with anyone, practicing/promoting/encouraging/engaging in any illegal or immoral activity of any kind.

very. has a pistol range and a 25-175yrd range firing line is covered with a building and has tables and gun racks.

Now heres the only thing you will most likely need the range has asked that those coming get a year member ship its only $10 for the whole year.
the range is a CMP affiliate so if you want to get a M1 garand they can give you a copy of the range certificate along with a membership card.

the range rules will and must be fullowed.
the meet itself will also have roughly the same rules as picture related.
only the range will open at 9:30 and AFTER the previous nights trash has been picked up.
the hot and cold times will be tweaked a bit more since we are not out on private property and there are some houses near by.
im slowly compiling and running things past people.
hopefully by next thread or this one if its still alive I will have a print out set up along with updated photos of the range and facility's.
you will need to bring your own bottled water to drink.
there are a few more things to explain but they will be posted at a later date and depending on how many sign up for the email list/ show interest.
