okay so the uss George hw bush plus escorts gets attacked by the british , American, german, Japanese, and Russian navy and navel aviation. Starting distance for engagement is 50 miles from ww2 what happens do they run out of ammo
>>29283571
op here I know this is a stupid situation I just want some shits and giggles
>>29283571
>what happens do they run out of ammo
The carrier group does, they will take out a shit load before being zerged. A reminder that the General Belgrano was taken out with a Mark 8 Torpedo, proof that WW2 tech can still fuck you up.
Oh boy. Another naval shitpost!
Are the Daewoo K2's worth a fuck? I am looking at buying a pre-ban rifle and the K2 seems like a neat one to buy.
>>29283060
Yeah they are cool. Go for it if you can find one that isn't ridiculously overpriced
>>29283060
I know that like 90% of all pmcs use daewoo rifles
>>29283092
Looks like its going to be 1800-2000 for one on gunbroker that has a folding stock.
A AR180 also seems like a neat rifle and they only run 1000-1200
/k/, I think we should start an anti-poaching unit. It's basically legal to shoot poachers in most african countries. We could form a squad that would rival most third world armies. Everyone could sign up for 3 month tours and we could probably wipe out poachers in just a year or two.
Plus, we get to shoot poachers.
Pic related, it's one of the members of the Black Mamba all female anti-poaching unit.
>>29282787
Yeah, I'd totally go do that. Are you SURE it's legal (to kill them)?
>>29282825

Anybody able to identify these daggers?

Those are just shitty kebab shanks. Not worth your time.
>>29281873
tourist junk. if it actually is from the middle east/india it is kitchy shit they sell to westerners and isn't worth anything. also shit ceremonial knives with rat tail tangs and tin grips tend to be shit as knives, so don't try to use them.
it could also be swap shop junk from the 70's-80's when people would buy shit like that because it was cheap as hell.
Could 4 guys can pull off a heist in reality?
if they had a good plan, weapons, escape route. Could they be successful.

Yes, it happens all of the time.
Specifically doing what they did, running down the streets engaging a few dozen patrol cops and detectives? Less likely, especially running 7" or 11" ARs (or even that weird galil) especially in this day and age.
If you define "heist" I could probably give you more specific info that >>29282165 didn't touch on.
/k/ lets see some badass boots. Give me your favorite military boots for rucking, camping, operating, and kicking ass, but don't rub your feet the wrong way until tehy become giant blisters.

So there was a lot of useful information regarding everyday casual CC clothing. One of the ones that stood out is a /k/omrade here mentioned Oxford button down shirts. I'm assuming this is the same shirt style he/you were talking about.
Anyone else have any more ideas? I might order a few of these
>tricking anons into not dressing like manchildren by saying it's for CC
Genius
>>29281624
I might be thinking too highly of /k/ but I like to believe most people here don't actually wear a 5.11 tuxedo or the punisher shirt, cargo shorts, socks and sandals combo.
I like to think that they mostly dress like normal, well adjusted adults who are trying to blend into the crowd.
>>29281683
OP here, I have no sense of style. I usually just wear solid color plain T shirts and jeans or sometimes cargo pants (never shorts). But I'm tying to learn and improve.
I honestly don't know if these shirts look good, or if they are "hipsterish". I really can't tell. I'm fashion blind. But, they do look decent for CC in the appendix.
Why are Israeli women so based? Wouldn't you want a qt3.14 for a wife all the while she can handle herself if dindu's come along at night?
A 10/10 in israel is like a 4/10 in sweden. Jesus what ugly people.

Using the F-15 for hunting sandpeople armed with AKs and RPG-7s is a waste or money, but it seems the the F-15 are used for this, maybe because it has better combat radius than the F-16 and both of the aircraft need long airstrips to launch so having an F-16 flying some missions is impossible because of lack suitable airbases.
Dedicated subsonic attack aircraft have been frowned upon for a long time, it seems mostly for cultural reasons, they don't fit into the discourse of fast flying "Top Gun" king-of-the-skies mindset that the western culture seems to have.
The A-10 has its proponents on the Internet, you can't miss it if you frequent /k/, advantages such as high resistance AA-guns, battlefield presence (not just dropping
bomb at 20k feet and leaving the scene after 1 minute) and of course the versatile monster of a 30mm gatling gun has earned the A-10 a reputation of being a warhorse.
But what about the OV-10 Bronco? It uses propellers that from what I've heard is advantageous at lower altitudes because it allows for much better fuel use. But what are the other advantages of the Bronco?
Bonus points for Vietnam War anecdotes of Bronco missions.
TL DR: OV-10 Bronco; Why should the US buy hundreds of them?

manpad proliferation in coin situations has made slow propgarbage useless
>>29281324
Manpads could be countered though, not only by flares and chaff, but also with active measures such as the ones mounted on modern armor.
For instance russian Arena systems seems to counter many anti-tank missiles, I don't see why the huge improvements that has happened in the last decades won't trickle into airspace eventually. The manpads you are speaking of isn't mach 4 missiles after all, a defense system has some time to react and deploy counter grenades.
>>29281548
>but also with active measures such as the ones mounted on modern armor.
so we will need to add literally hundreds of pounds of downward looking radar in several directions. then we need hundreds of pounds of equipment containing the actual aps interceptors. then you take into account that arena is literally a downward shooting shotgun and likely isn't meant to hit things while on a craft moving at 100+ mph. Add to that that even if you went with a system like quick kill you still end up destroying the missile so close to the craft that it will likely destroy the airplane anyway.
What's the point of .22lr /k/?
Good for target shooting and cheap as fuck
>>29280756
If you live in Bong it's the only thing you can shoot semi-auto
>>29280761
9mm is just as cheap and better all round.
"We have to rebuild our military"
Can someone elaborate on this? Isn't the US military the most powerful one around?
>>29280681
He's just saying whatever the fuck he thinks will make people like him. Only thing he actually wants to do is cut taxes for himself.
It's weak
A lot of doctrinal/political decisions have left it fully incapable of a ground war or amphibious invasion.
And theres rampant collusion/money wasting going on with certain defense contractors, need to get that fixed
>>29280726
Nice meme, the US military is the greatest force of destruction ever to grace the face of the earth.
Welp /k/, is this the end or will Republican feet dragging finally do us some good?
>>29278854
I mean look at this refutation. Clearly the content of his opinion is irrelevant! Just ignore that and remember other judges wanted to rehear it two, just pretend their motivation wasn't entirely different.
Pack it up and go home. Everything's fine~~~

Alright /k/ so have a weird hobby,
I like making functioning, movie/videogame firearms in real life.
For the past year or so I've been really into fallout, so far I've gotten wood grips for my M16-A1 for the NCR service rifle, i've restored my grandmother's .32 top break revolver. I've been looking for a Browning HP Renaissance to make Maria.
But my latest project is the survivalist rifle, i've always wanted a .50 beowulf or a .458 socom anyway, why not do it fallout themed?
I've already gotten the grips, a good lower and now all I need is a relatively long, classic (as in top handle and classic m16 forward sight) upper. Anyone know where I can find one? Money isn't that big of a deal.
>>29278531
You don't have an M16-A anything.
>wood AR
Fuck off.
My half assed attempt. Don't feel like doing a full custom made one to get it 100%. I based a bunch of my firearm purchases off guns in games.
Let's find the dumbest, most ridiculous and pointless gun or weapons law or restriction in the world.
I'll start.
>In germany, legal gun owners are not allowed to attach lights or lasers to their guns
>also, training 'defensive shooting' is illegal except for LEO and mil
I know this is hard to top but there must be more.

There's a county ordinance in one part or rural Arkansas:
>28ga shotguns and ammunition are banned from sale and ownership
>all other shotgun gauges are fine
Fuck if I know why
Is there a reason why modern police forces seem to prefer bullpup clubs?
80s kungfu dojos fooled them that tonfas were cooler than traditional dildo truncheons
