My girlfriend's friend wrote this article and I need a really good rebuttle because last I heard Hellfire missiles had a better than 50 percent hit rate.
Also plane porn thread if the article doesn't make you mad like it did me.

>Drones = anything but precise
>>29287889
>PGMs are weapons that allegedly – through laser, GPS or satellite technology – minimise the risk of injury or death to civilians by specifically targeting combatants: “putting warheads on foreheads” as US Air Force officers call it. This may sound compelling in theory, but it is important we realise precision targeting is mythical in practice.
This is a US marine apparently according to the accompanying captioned when I saved it.
Any idea what he is?

A US Marine
That K2/203 combo. Lovely.
The dude on the right has a south Korean flag on his helmet, but is using an AUG. I'm all sorts of confused by this

That will make their troops shit though.
Just make them able to suppress Fire and charge the enemy

Bump for news
Can the US stop an ICBM? Cursory googling has shown it cannot. Is there something up their sleeves we don't know about?
No. Simply put there isn't even close to enough interceptors for the amount of warheads that could come down on us.
> Is there something up their sleeves we don't know about?
Cyber warfare, espionage, intelligence
>>29287696
>Can the US stop an ICBM?
Yes.
>Is there something up their sleeves we don't know about?
Yes.
>be worried that my single stack is lacking in capacity (lc9s)
>look into carrying a double stack
>was already set on the FNS compact, as I have the fullsize and it's amazing
>ends up being too big to get a comfy pinky wrap under the mag, for my hands at least
>gun counter guy whips out a glock 26
>perfect fit, and interchangeable mags gives me a lot of options as far as capacity is concerned
>blue label program makes it cheaper than other options
>there must be something wrong with this gun though, it appears the safety is missing
>gun guy puffs out his chest and tells me every safety cliche there is
>still not buying it, show him videos and stories of how many people have glocklegged themselves
>he goes away and starts ignoring me
I never thought I'd be in the market for one of these, but I really like the smooth features and size of it as a carry piece. Only I'm not shoving this thing in & out of my waistband and risking blowing my ass cheek off.
Anyone have a safety on their glock? I've seen a few different options, the sliderlock (though that seems unsafe) and the one where a thumb safety is actually dremeled out and installed (I'm worried this will be all loose and ghetto). What's the best option?
>>29287230

leaving the gun stock and training yourself not to be retarded

You seem like the XD type

Step one get kydex holster
Step two buy glock
Step three don't be a retard
I'm picking a g26 and a g19 up later next week
Why does so many hate the F-35?
All arguments I see are mostly just the same shitty rhetorics or misinformed sensationalistic claims coming from RT or Sprey
>muh lemonturkey slow can't turn climb
>muh 1.5 trillion in development
>muh pricey plane
>muh stealth is useless
>muh BRRRT CAS
>muh F-16 dogfight
I have never seen a single legitimate criticism of this plane.
So why does so many laugh at it and say it will be a failure? All from libtard gibmethats to slavaboos?
>>29286776
The media likes to create outrage where none is needed.
There are also plenty of people who are asshurt over the F-35 like Pierre Sprey that the media will listen to.
While legitimate criticism about the plane's performance is almost nonexistent as it outperforms everything it is replacing in almost every category, some of their complaints about the program itself are valid.
>>29286776
You would understand once you pay taxes.
>>29286878
I pay taxes, and I'm completely okay with the program's progress. Maybe if you read up on prior procurement processes, and understood the scope of the project, as well as what is paid for by tax dollars and what is footed by LM you wouldn't run your mouth so easily.
Tell me /k/, why the fuck do people buy Damascus knives? I understand if you just want a wall hanger, but why the fuck would you buy one for use?
Because they open boxes as well as anything
>>29286438
>I like it.
Literally doesn't even have to go farther than that.
>Damascus
Unless the blade is several hundred years old, it is pattern welded steel that shares no commonality with Damascus steel in any way other than appearance.
What was its purpose?
It existed solely so you could post this thread someday, and prove to the modern world that you indeed are a faggot.

At what point does pitting start affecting accuracy?

I varies. I have a Nagant revolver that has a barrel like a sewer pipe. It still shoots a 2" group at 25 yards with no problem.

good concept, bad implementation OR bad concept?
I personally think it is a great idea.
I don't get the point of the LCS. The piece of shit costs $400 mil. Why would anyone get this? The Izumo-class is just $1.2 bil, and carries 30 helos.
>>29283899
It fills a need for the USN that other navies are too small to have to deal with.
I don't get the point of the Izumo. The piece of shit costs $1.2 bil. Why would anyone get this? The Ford-class is just $10.4 bil, and carries 75 fixed wing aircraft.
