Are there any actual reports on ISIS's use of armor?

Are they generally incompetent like most middle eastern tankers, or are they actually doing anything with what they got?

I don't think so, all of their armor is either Iraqi or Syrian though. They've successfully used it in several of their offensives to break fortified positions and so on, I think it's quite likely they offered to recruit captured tank crews instead of killing them and at least a few took up the offer.

>>29777241

There's a video of an execution where they literally run a man over with a tank from his feet to his head slowly.

Beyond that, I know nothing of ISIS and their tanks.

If I am nogunz but have ~$1,000 to spend, is building an AR-15 the best option? It's between that or a nice 9mm handgun.

>is building an AR-15 the best option?

Memes aside, an ar15 is hands down the best gun you can own. You can get a really good one for ~$700.
>BCM upper
>Spike's lower
>>
>>29777125
For 1k you should be able to swing both.
>>
Depends what you want to do with it. Also once you get over spending about $700 on a 9mm handgun, you run into diminishing returns really fast. That number is much higher for an AR because of all the optics etc. I don't even know what I'd buy if you told me to spend a thousand bucks or more on a 9mm handgat

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

>tight grouping to the left of center on the target
>put more of my index finger on the trigger so that the first joint is what's contacting the trigger face
>tight grouping dead center

What am I doing wrong, /k/? I shoot much better doing what's shown in the middle of the picture but I don't want to build bad habits or training scars by putting to much of my finger on the trigger

If it works it works and that's pretty much the DAO technique for a lot of people. Your hand/finger length plays into it a bit as well.

On most smaller guns I have to use my knuckle because of oranguhands.

If it is unorthodox, but it works and you can keep consistent results with it, roll with it.

>wheel of mistakes meme

it's how much pressure you're using to grip the gun. I used to have this same exact problem and it went away when I experimented with my grip.

Seriously, that pie chart is a meme and has zero use for semi autos

In theory, yes, it's a huge step up, especially in terms of crew protection. The largest article of contention is that it all depends on build quality, which, as far as we've seen, has room to be fucking awful. It's impossible to tell at this point.
>>
>>29775719
Nobody knows because it's vaporware, much like the PAK-FA and every other Russian attempt at playing catch-up in the past decade.
>>

Never heard of complaints about the construction quality for the new build(circa 2005) T-90As.

its just a gun, i dont need any fancy shit, a piece of metal that shoots

that being said i think pic related looks way cooler

I don't know what's more surprising to me, that somebody fired a bear out of a supersonic airplane, or that a bear was fired out of a supersonic airplane and the Soviets weren't the ones responsible for it.
