I read an article last year that the apx would be released for civilian sales late 2015, now it's 2016 and looking like we won't be able to touch it until late 2017. I was very interested in this pistol, wtf beretta.
Of all the Glock ripoffs, this one is definitely the ugliest. It makes the XD look like a goddamn CZ.
dumping photos of apx
Need help, /k/. I'm looking into pepper spray, bear spray, or something similar. What's a good one to get? I know, it's no funs, but I live in a no funs state.
Kind of leaning toward this, but I really don't know much about them.

Or this is the other one I'm considering.

A gun.
Is white lithium grease good for guns? It's cheap, universally available, and resists high temperatures.
Only the stuff that resists oxidation and has good reversibility, otherwise it gunks up like a motherfucker. Personally, I would use aluminum based grease over lithium.
>>29773999
Use it all the time, works great. Don't put too much or you gunk the shit up, and throwing your gun into a pile of sand will cause it to get all up in the grease, so don't do that.
>>29773999
Use lithium grease with moly and EP additives.
The Swiss army does the same exact thing, standard issue automatenfett is lithium grease with moly and other additives to improve performance under high pressure and temperature.
Let's get a good improvised weapons thread going. I'll post what i have.
Why doesn't Remington free float the 700? It could be a good rifle if they did.
>>29773699
Don't need to do that to hunt a durr, kiddo.
>>29773699
The 700 is the cheapo alternative to good rifles like the Model 70 so there needs to be a solid price difference to sell. Remington sells more accurate variants and needs room to mark them up too.
free float is the least of the problems that would need to be fixed.
How does /k/ feel about the Geneva Conventions. What about the Hague Protocols?
>>29773572
Considering that we haven't fought anyone who followed them in sixty years, they are currently more of a burden than a protection.
The idea that dropping a 155mm shell on a man is just while shooting him with a spire point bullet is poor form strikes me as somewhat divorced from reality.
>>29773572
as long as the enemy follows them, fine by me. if not, oh well... get the spark plugs!
Does Agency Arms make the most professional use Glocks in the market? I've owned several Glocks including Sailent Arms yet Agency Arms Glocks blows them out of the water.
-perfect trigger pull at a crisp 4.5 lbs
-front serrations for your press checks
-urban cuts to aleve weight
-new titanium nitride coated barrel for reliability and durability
-RMR cuts for your Trijicon RMRs
Package starts at only $1400.
-perfect trigger pull at a crisp 4.5 lbs
>glock trigger is fine and at that stock
-front serrations for your press checks
>no
-urban cuts to aleve weight
>brb fucking with manufacturers balance in recoil mass, that's a great idea.
-new titanium nitride coated barrel for reliability and durability
>There's nothing wrong with glock's tennifer coating
-RMR cuts for your Trijicon RMRs
>MOS versions of glock.
Aftermarket services like that are nothing short of a scam.
Is this a joke?
Those "upgrades" are mediocre at best and offer no benefit. The trigger job can be done for $8 and 10 minutes of your time. The sights can cost up to $150. That's all you really
Just go to the range and practice some. Those additional serrations won't make you a better shooter.

Fuck that. I can get a Chris Costa edition M&P .45 for the same price. And mine would be just like his personal custom one.

Cmon son
Really wish my employers weren't such faggets about employees CCing. I used to carry anyway, but I got promoted, and found it near impossible to conceal under a white chef jacket.
Went to a range for a first time ever today to shoot my AR15, but got to shoot an AK47. The guys were talking about the "newer" AK74, but which one is better? Which one do you like, and why?
>>29773247
That picture triggers me.
Only trial versions were chambered in x41
>but which one is better?
Technically the 74 as it is a more modern design but both are nearly identical minus one firing a .22 caliber bullet and the other a .30 caliber bullet
>Which one do you like, and why?
I prefer the 74 because 5.45x39 is a really neat and fun to shoot cartridge and because the 74 is more aesthetically pleasing to me. But, if I could only have one, it'd be a 47/AKM simply due to ammo being everywhere. I own both, love both, and although I buy 90% of my ammo online it is nice being able to buy a box or two of 7.62x39 at Walmart whenever I feel like it and I cannot do that with 5.45

Is the kick actually that much less on the 74? I shot the 47 today and it had hella kick, where it was making it somewhat uncomfortable to shoot for an extended period.
are there any ausfags on 4chan that lived around the time when the buyback scheme of 1996 after Port Arthur happened?
like how much did they pay you and how fucking pissed off that you had to hand in your pump action because "prevention of more shootings"
Fuck The Greens, Fuck Labor and Fuck the coalition
say what you will but by and large it accomplished what it set out to do, very few gun deaths and mass shootings in australia compared to america
>>29773194
we had a more tame gun culture though, they still had more mass shooting before our very first one (Port Arthur)
>>29773194
even New Zealand has more relaxed gun laws. you're even allowed to buy suppressors too
and yet, they're less nutty than america.
same applies with Russia as well, they got more relaxed gun laws and no one has recieved a mass shooting (that i know of that wasnt done by Chechen terrorists)
Why didn't the US ever feel like it needed an RPG-style squad weapon?
LAW, AT-4, not the same.
Carl Gustav I head that the SF liked it.
The Marines have the SMAW which is somewhat close.
>>29773108
They do less damage and you have to pay region free DLC or pre order with Mountain Dew
>>29773108
Gustav
Rockets are big and bulky to carry.
Our infantry focuses on anti infantry, which make up the bulk of our enemy, activity.
We have at4s just incase we run into something up armored or fortified, but we also have
>mortar
>artillery
>air support
>tanks
>Bradleys
Or even fucking Humvees with tow missles
Rpgs make sense from an insurgent perspective because they don't have these things.

Your question is stupid.
Just got an unexpected $600, and decided to spend it on a fun. So what does /k/ suggest I buy? Any why?
Thinking something milsurp, but already full up on Mosins.
buy $600 worth of 22lr and then never use it

Anyone want a MIG-21 cockpit? Sarco has one for only $8000
http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/mig21singlecockpit.aspx
>>29772458
why buy cockpit when you can buy a btr in ukraine for $25k or hind for $800k?
>>29773705
I actually looked up the prices of shipping a plane a while back, it can cost up to $50,000 unless you chop it up
>>29774798
do you know how much it would cost to ship an APC? I tried looking into it a while back but I didn't get a conclusive answer
What does /k/ think of reenacting? How hard is it to get into it? How much time/money is needed to get started originally?
>>29772452
I reenact a few things and the cost varies greatly for them.
Here is me and a few members of my group doing Soviet Armored sapper impression.
>>29773446
What kinds of things do you reenact and what is cost for each?
