Are there any places to truly go innawoods in southern California?
>>29793617
No, its innadesert bro.
there are no forests i know of where shooting is a good idea, they are too small and too populated. I live in SD tho, so i take the 8 out to the desert. not sure about LA area.
>>29793617
Figueroa mountain was really deserted and wide open. I've been venturing into the Los Padres forest recently. The "hiking trails" have some traffic, and are not advisable to OC. However, many parts of socal have very rural areas and guns are welcome.
What city/county are you in?
>>29793656
Ventura county
So the aft had ruled consistently that attaching something to a pistol that could possibly be used as a stock is acceptable as long as you do not intend to use it as a stock. Would it be possible that someone could screw with the atf and have them rule that you can attach a rifle stock to an AR pistol as long as the user doesn't "intend" to use it as a stock?
>>29793523
No, attaching a stock would lead a reasonable man to believe you intend to use it as a stock.
>>29793523
>screw with the atf
>>29793536
In the same way the kak and sig braces aren't stocks?
We all can agree that the sbr and sbs laws are shit. And if the atf made a shit ruling and went back on it and it went to court it could very well change how the laws work and how the atf arbitrarily changes definitions.
Why are Israeli guns so great?
Just pure amazing designs.
>>29793279
They're alright.
Also, calling the Desert Eagle an Israeli design is incorrect.
That being said, I'm sure your bait thread will attract many autistic naziboos.
>>29793279
they're mostly copies / based on other countries' designs, like Galil's a clone of RK-62, Uzi was based on that Czech SMG, Jericho's literally a CZ-75 clone, etc.

>Tavor

pick one goyim
Anons, need your help. I'll be carrying on campus in August at a very liberal uni here in Texas. I'm a TA teaching physics labs so I'm constantly on my feet, walking to and out of labs, and doing research. My number 1 priority is concealability and comfort. I'm afraid if it's not comfortable then it'll most likely wind up sitting in my bag. Concealability is a must. I have everything from trannies, femenazis, mudslimes, indians who don't know US law, dykes with blue/green/purple/short/combo hair, and VERY quasisocialist liberals for coworkers. There's no telling the level of rage that might come out of them if they were to spot that I'm carrying a (legal) CC pistol while on campus, or in the classroom, for that matter.
I'd prefer the caliber be in .357sig since I already have over 1500 rounds of the stuff. Other than that I could really not care as long as it's larger than .32 auto. I've been looking at PPKs, maks, and other 380s/9mm for the job. My budget is under $800 and it doesn't necessarily have to be a new firearm.
What are some of the dream CC pistols you can cough up?
glock 43 and q series holster
open carry an ar
Pocket carry something like an LCP.
So I'm looking at both of these meme guns, and the internet seems to really be on the side of the tavor. I'm looking for reliability, and comfortable feel. The AUG is a little more expensive, and doesn't have a good aftermarket trigger selection. The tavor looks like a toy. The AUG is a favorite from childhood. The tavor has a not impossible to find 9mm conversion kit. (800$) if you can find the AUG conversion kit it's 1.5k+ the tavor would need a good optic, the AUG comes with one. I'm torn, I like reliability and ease of use and accuracy. I have an m4 and I like it, but I want a bullpup. I'd get the ps90 if it had a 9mm or .22 conversion kit but it doesn't. Which has a better track record? I know the AUG has been around longer, but the Jews make some good stuff and have a nice track record there. I haven't shot either one and there are no ranges with them in stock close by
What is /k/s experience with these two bullpups?
>>29793206
>Which has a better track record?
AUG
The israelis don't even use the Tavor anymore, they've switched to the X95 bullpup
>>29793227
Im somewhat afraid of the AUG price, with everything (NATO stock, bullet button, gunsmithing for said button, shipping, tax, 2 mags, ) is close to 2800$. The tavor is about 2300 with a good optic.
It would be the most expensive gun I own, I don't want to fuck it up.
>>29793291
I would wait for the X95 if you're thinking about getting one of them Jew guns, it adds a number of improvements to the standard Tavor.
big ass guns on even larger ships that blow shit up from large distances

The Navy controls the vast majority of surface area and commerce of the world. It directly influences the vast majority of the world's population. That alone proves its worth.
>>29793201
uboats are relevant to my dick.
Navy is usually what softens up AA defenses and radar systems before pilots hit specific infrastructure targets before ground forces follow up and take it.
Hey /k/, been looking to buy a pistol for self protection, I a, a bartender and the owner refuses to put a wep behind the counter. I was told either a Glock, SiG, or Kimber. Thoughts?
>>29793197
>Glock, SiG, or Kimber
Yes, yes, and fuck no
Go to the range and rent one that suits your fancy. Pick a caliber you like and try it out. Personally, Im a Sig guy but Glock will do. As will XDs or Revolvers even, just personal preference man, they will all kill someone dead if you need to
Glock in .40 mah nigga
Lets talk gun safes /k/.
What brand did you get? How did you set yours up? Were you able to get yours anchored?
I'm currently sitting on a post-tensioned foundation. Shit sucks.
I'm in the midst of purchasing a Mosler TL-15 jewelry safe for my gun safe. If I rated it like the gun safe industry does, it'd be a burglary-proof 30-gun safe with fully custom interior and EMP-proof quick-access electronic lock with light.
I just put a deadbolt on my closet door.
>>29793659
>I'm in the midst of purchasing a Mosler TL-15 jewelry safe for my gun safe.
>jewelry safe
>for my gun safe
we need to go safer...
I've only got enough money to purchase one of my raifus, should I get:
A) Galil
B) AR-180/B
C) FAL
And what's the cheapest way to get my hands on the one you think I should get? And if Galil, what caliber?
>>29793151
Also, I've already got an AK (albeit a shitty one that jams when I feed it TulAmmo), two ARs, and a Remington 700 (pre-China) for muh durr huntin'. Out of these the AK is my favorite.
Galil and ar18 are the most collectable
Galil.
Ar180/b is a special snowflake gun and isn't all that tough. Look up thefirearmblogs video of why it's shit.
FAL is garbage.
The galil is just an overbuilt overweight AK.
Different firearms message boards all over report users getting snail mail letters from AIM saying they have been hacked and offering a year of free credit monitoring.
How screwed are you /k/?
I got a letter in the mail from them today about this.
>>29793020
This isn't really a big deal.
>>29793020
>Credit monitoring
Why? They don't have your social. Just replace your CC and be done with it.

Yes

Our Lord and Savior said if you have two cloaks and no sword sell one of your cloaks and buy a sword
>mfw the Word of the Lord carries to modern times
>>29792852
>Is it really okay to carry im church??
yes.
There are probably five guns in our congregation of ~180 in any given service. No one knows because no one asks and it's no one's business.
What went wrong, /k/?
what went wrong, guys?
>>29792764
Overly complex trigger pack, shitty build materials, putting the recoil spring in the stock.
>>29792775
Barreta making the trigger pack out of plastic, not threading the barrel, and not importing enough to bring the price under $400.
>>29793029
agree on all fronts except..
>putting the recoil spring in the stock.
AR would like to have a word with you. That shit was ahead of its time.
Can we have a /k/-approved movie thread?
Also why is Michael Mann so based?
anything good on netflix? I'm too lazy for piracy.
obligatory
So my Vz 58 has gotten to the point where the rifling is pretty much thoroughly worn. Since I'm replacing the barrel anyway, I was thinking of shortening it to around 12" (300mm to be precise) as I live in glorious Czechia that allows me to carry it. However the muzzle blast and much worse noise is what really makes me unwilling to carry it. Therefore I was thinking I could perhaps neck the 7,62x39 cartridge to a bigger bullet, since I will need to have a barrel custom made anyway, or import .50 beowulf rounds. Would a bigger bore help more powder burn inside the barrel, making less noise and flash and be better at the 50-200 range I intend to use it at?
Also, can you get 9x39 ammo anywhere?
And yes, I know about flash supressors, but noise is important too, especially at the range.
>>29792720
whats the round count? 5k?
bumping this
>>29792720
>can you get 9x39 ammo anywhere?
In Russia yes.
I finally found a Hind helicopter for sale here in the US...
http://aviationwarehouse.net/novelties-for-sale.html
...for $150,000 :(
Fuck, why is shipping shit from Europe so expensive?
>>29792706
why would anyone buy that?
Its beyond restoration.
>>29793059
Where else can you find an actual Hind?
>>29793059
it'd make a cool treehouse
