I don't really know what to do if I have to go in the woods when SHTF. Any advice or teachings /k/ can give?

I guess I should be more specific, sorry about that. But I meant gear wise.
>>32282304
Gear is only useful if you know what to do with it.

I prefer Duty belts for OC.

I would not know, I use a stiff leather belt, but I am interested to find out what people say about actual CC belts.
Bump.

I need help. I'm a Trump convert that lives in a very liberal city and I think I see what's coming down the line. I've never fired a gun before but I want to become proficient quickly. What's the best beginner setup I can buy for reliability and ease of maintenance? Should I buy a handgun, shotgun, and a rifle, or some other combination? What's the best way to train? Classes?
I'm serious. I want to be prepared for what's coming.
>i live in a very liberal city
>serious about buying a gun
>>32313087
It's Washington state. Our gun laws are pretty fucking good. The state law explicitly preempts all more local laws so Seattle can't prevent gun sales, for example.
>>32313059
1. Buy an AR-15 for home defence.
2. Practice with it and educate yourself about local gun laws.
3. Get a 9mm subcompact and a concealed carry licence. Glock is a good start.
What makes a 'barrel bomb' worse than a normal general purpose bomb?
Nothing, it's just a low tech dumb bomb that they drop out of helicopters. The problem is they dump them into occupied neighborhoods and hospitals.
>>32312254
Why would they drop them into occupied neighborhoods and hospitals? Why don't they just drop them on fighters? You can't commit genocide with helicopter dropped bombs. You can't carry enough.
Are you sure they're telling the truth when they make it out that these are actually intentionally being dropped to kill civilians?
>>32312242
They tend to be less accurate than conventional bombs, causing more collateral damage.
The media is trying to meme these bombs into being a terror weapon used only against innocent civilians.
Name a better rifle, I double dare you motherfucker.
>>32311067
Ooh, the AR 15. What do I win?
>>32311071
But the AR15 got beaten in the same test.

>You and your wife are sitting on your couch, winding down after a long day enjoying a movie.
>suddenly 4 masked men with assault rifles burst though door.
>as a law abiding citizen with a handgun on person, you immediately open fire on masked men.
>they return fire killing your unarmed wife, while severely wounding you.
>once masked men subdue you, they both you and your slain wife in handcuffs while reading you your "rights"
It was a no knock raid, and they raided the wrong house in search of a drug house.
>you are now permanently crippled from gunshot wounds, your wife is dead and now you are facing 40+ years in prison for attempting to kill a peace officer even though no shots landed.
>oh beautiful for spacious skys...
>>32309558
shame no knock raids are even a thing.
then again what stops a druggie or group of druggies of knocking on your door claiming to be police and busting it down.
>>32309558
Here's your (OP)
>>32309567
Well thats kinda the point I'm trying to make.
I've found many news articles where people's children have been killed in these types of raids, even when they get the wrong house, and police gun down the man for protecting his family, or charge him for attempting to kill a peace officer.
What's the most cutting edge tech the public knows about right now, /k/? Pic barely related.

define well armed?
the apache could kill a couple companies worth of men before they even figure out what direction its coming from.
you do realize it can fire from miles away, from decent altitudes right? like around 8k-9k feet.
and that camera on the ECHO can see for fucking miles yo, could read your name tape at like more than 3 miles.

What would /k/ say are the most reccomended guns to have out in bear country
Glock in 10mm
I would go with a 10/22
12 gauge slugs are pretty popular.
I know a guy who has a .308 PTR truck gun, not sure if he's bear food or not.
/k/'s meme of choice in this situation is >>32305287
Alaskans are known for carrying snub nose big bore revolvers, like the Ruger Alaskan, and they have to kill bears every day on the way to work.

I was about to order an Aimpoint Micro T2, but this point intrigues me.
Aimpoint products are outstanding, but I don't think they have the blessing of the wolf goddess of the harvest. Maybe I should reconsider before I purchase.

F-35 has already entered production, the program is incapable of being canceled at this point.
If production of the aircraft ceased then we could end up half a fighter generation behind the Chinese.

Welcome to post 2012 America
I wouldnt wait if you want one either. Prices on firearms pretty much never come down again.
They're at least $500-600 here in Oz for shitty M44s
Not everyone got a billion of them imported, anon
They're worth more than 250 for what they are, so you should be happy
