A place to share books, stories, and assorted writefaggotry.
All writing is welcome, even if it's only tangentially related to /k/.
Give thanks to Polybus and Archivefag for keeping /wfg/ afloat.
It's been unscientifically proven that a lack of (you)s for writers can lead depression, alcoholism, story abandonment, and an hero.
But it's so easy to make a difference in a writer's life. Just one (you) a day can make the difference between a happy writer and a writer on permanent hiatus.
Please, post now. Help make a writer's day.

--------
This was the first time the vehicle had been driven with no input from Lily at all. And it showed. The ride was a little more jerky, the gear changes not as smooth and the engine sounded and behaved.... just a little different than it used to do
She did tell you that she could manipulate the vehicle. If a round was loaded, she could fire it. She also had certain control over the engine, and maybe even drivetrain, with the gearbox. You were still curious about a few things. First and foremost, how that actually worked. But that was likely the kind of question you would never get an answer to, even if Lily or anyone else actually wanted to to tell you. Was it a conscious thing, like picking up a can from a table? Was it some sort of semi-conscious thing like breathing? Or maybe entirely automatic, like the heartbeat? Could she start the vehicle up from her bed and drive it away without even seeing it? Does she feel anything when someone else starts it? Can she feel it move?
All of this had been a little of a touchy subject, and you did try avoid it. But you did have the feeling that you would get an answer to at least some of these questions in a matter of days. For good or bad
Love is funny like that. It makes it difficult to see flaws in someone. And anything that was a flaw is brushed aside as “no, that’s nothing serious”. You always knew Lily had a closet full of skeletons, but you figured you could live with them. But what if it wasn’t so much a closet as a shipping container full of skeletons. How much of her past could you overlook?
Does nobody have a 1911 here ?

Without getting into it too far, my entire ruck with over 1k worth of gear is destroyed.
Taxes are coming in a few weeks so I guess I can either start over or put the money towards something else.

Sounds like your hard-use gear wasn't very durable.
Why the fuck can't we own select fire guns?
This pre/post ban shit is pointless.
>>32922696
But you can?
Is that a serious question or are you just venting?
>>32922696
the people that own select fire guns have a vested interest to lobby to keep them regulated because preban weapons have "collector value" due to their limited supply aka machine guns are a guaranteed investment right now. a bunch of people that own machine guns are gonna be pissed if we make it legal to buy machine guns again
Hey /k/, a buddy and I are having a pretty heated debate. He hates the F35 and is absolutely convinced that the F22 would out preform the F35 in a dog fight. What does /k/ think?
>>32922574
Well, currently, I think the F-22 would win simply because it's actually functional.
>>32922574
They're both shit! They cannot climb, cannot turn... they are lemons! A MiG-19 could take them out without any problem. The F-16A is the best fighter ever made!

Are they good knives for the money? Without triggering the Samurai fags, I've seen a bunch of SOG knives in my price range and have been tempted to get one. I'm assuming they hold up better than the gun show chicom shit, right?
>>32922517
Not anon, but hit or miss. They have knives from the low end of the spectrum on up to the higher end. Their lower priced stuff is better value than the higher priced, simply because the higher end stuff starts competing with benchmade, spyderco and even better/more gucci brands.

I don't think being blown up by your GRU "friends" after you've outlived your usefulness counts towards dying in battle.

Is it possible for a nuclear missile to go full retard and up orbiting like the space station for months then re-entering at a random spot on earth and still detonate?
First of all that doesn't even make physical fucking sense
Second of all, most (read: all) nuclear warheads are loaded down with computer systems and sensors that tell it exactly if and when to detonate. Actually triggering a nuclear explosion requires a very specifically timed and metered series of micro-detonation in order to start the fission domino effect - even if a missile did just slam full retard into the mountains somewhere and explode, the damage and fallout would be minimal and there would be absolutely no risk of a nuclear explosion.
>>32920517
>a very specifically timed and metered series of micro-detonation
Anon, wat? Nuclear warheads use a two point implosion system that requires nano-second simultaneous detonation to produce a critical mass and nuclear yield.
