Childhood is liking the AK.
Adulthood is realizing the M16 makes more sense.

Is there any point in owning a gun if I live in a wealthy and crime-free neighborhood?

to fight the government
Yes.

blacks can smell white wimminz and dem repatunz so yeah
Anderson M16 BCGs are $60 at Primary Arms.
Anything wrong with them?
>>32941250
If they're milspec they should be fine
If not then avoid it
>>32941250
>>32941285
More or less but even then, AR prices have dropped so much that even the cheap shit is unlikely to fail.
>>32941285
Most reviews around the internet say it's a good BCG for the price you pay, but a lot of people go with a BCM or Colt BCG instead. What advantages are there to paying >$100 for a BCG?
You have just inherited a large sum of money after discovering you're a distant relative of John Browning. Browning gave you the money on one condition: you use it to further gun design and become the second greatest gun designer to ever live.
Any ideas /k/?
An M2 that takes PMAGs.

Man portable railgun.
Looking for a simple generic thin rubberized slip/roll on sleeve for my pistol grips... pic related is fine but WITHOUT the finger groove.
Just a plain black finger groove-less sleeve. Searched for the past hour and all I can find are ones with finger grooves or gay ones with logos, skulls and snake skin and crap like these:
http://www.tuff1.com/
I'm amazed that such a basic item is not made by anyone.
(I CC a BT380 CC, it has built-in finger grooves so I can't use a sleeve with built in grooves as the humps become far too big, and no one makes rubber grips for the BT380 CC, just wood. The factory hard plastic ones suck, quite slippery... the only compliant I have with the gun).
I'm considering Talon sticky grips,
https://talongungrips.com/grips/bersa/thunder-cc.html
but people complain the glue comes loose quickly, can be tricky to apply etc., and I'd rather have a simpler solution anyway.
Anything non-gun I could use? Some sort of hardware product?
>>32941225
Get a sheet of rubber, cut it then glue it. Hell, buy an inner tube for nothing and make all sorts of tactical shit with it.
>>32941330
Thanks for the suggestion

Down the road from where I live there's this abandon wood shack on the side of the road and I decided to go digging in it for goodies and found a big rusty knife with some ghetto handle on it after taking the handle off and sanding the rust off I found its an Ontario Knives machete that someone turned into a smaller knife, it has 1943 engraved in it. I'm an amateur at knives and can't figure out what blade grind it has? Also I was curious as to what yall thought of it?
>>32941212
That's neat. Keep it. Use it in good health.
>>32941212
Probably just a thin primary bevel because it was a machete. Ontario makes good shit. Have fun with your free knife.

So been a while since I'd make this, but come on guys, lets have another /k/ art and pics thread.
Post any artwork or pics that're /k/. Be it real, fictional or even from videogames.
Also drawfags and artists welcome too, please do come in.
I was watching this video on youtube about a San Francisco artist who melts guns into works of "art". At one point a "man" hands him his grandfather's 1911 from WW2 (he served in Europe) and the artist threw it into a furnace. Gotta say I raged quite hard.
Then at one point the artist asks, "gun owners don't ever think about who it is OK to kill."
Well, /k? Who is it OK to kill?
>>32940974
How long has this video been around? How long have you been on /k/ and you're just now hearing about it?
Not people making knick-knacks out of firearms that were willingly given to him by their owners, if that's what you were getting at.
Brother showed that video to one of his co-workers. Said the co-worker literally couldn't watch the whole thing.
>Well, /k? Who is it OK to kill?
Those that try to kill or rob you. Inb4 niggers.
For someone who lives in a nanny state with firearms licenses, does /k/ recommend getting an air gun first for target practice before obtaining their firearms license?
pic unrelated, it's a girl (male)
>>32940959
Theyre not similar at all on a technical scale but an airgun just practice handling, aimimg, and shooting is a good idea. Now post more "girls"
>>32940959
Nanny state as in NJ/NY/CA?
Or as in bongland?
Regardless I'd look into your local laws as airguns are considered firearms in some real shitty areas.
>>32940959
Depending on how innawoods you are/aren't, it's more feasible to set up a mini air range in a garage/basement/attic, if you don't have the property or live close enough to a decent gun range.
But seriously post more tarps.
Is the "Golden Tiger Stripe" camo from MGS5 real? Is it possible to buy any shirts or pants in this?
Heres a closer picture
>>32940953
What is Google, is that what you asked?
>>32940953
Looks similar to desert tigerstripe
Would it have been possible to build a submachine gun with civil-war era technology and ammunition? See image for autism
"Yes,"

No, black powder fouls the bore and action far too quickly
>>32940957
You do know that black powder full autos are nothing new, don't even have those problems. You're a retard.
Hey /k/, I'm putting together a shooting range and I'm looking for suggestions as to what targets and other amenities to use. What kind of stuff would you love to see available at your local range/shooting spot?
Steel targets, reactive targets, gongs, etc If you have links please share them.
