I don't own many knives but it's served me well for years. I got it for the seat belt cutter and glass puncher, it's assisted opening and holds and edge well. Not sure what else I could want from it.

Got a CRKT minimalist drop point for $5. debating whether or not to use it as a beater knife, I dont want to have to break out the leatherman just to cut some fishing line or open a few boxes. sorry it took so long to reply, the px-4 is a great pistol,BUT it has a few drawbacks that prevent it from being a good pistol some people have,and a great one many people have.
positive: great feel,accuracy,reliability for its small size,and capacity 14rds or any px-4 mag of same cal.
cons: its thick,heavy has to have a holster and its thickness makes it a bit harder to hide in cc, biggest issue of course is manual safety/decocker . i carry it in da position saftey off,but of course this takes real practice for that first shot not to be wasted. if your willing to put in the time its worth it hands down

I see this said a lot, "Are you given a cutting tool at work"... I've never worked a labor job that does, then again I've never worked retail... But almost always a folding knife works just as well as what they give you but has more utility. A few of my friends who work retail have asked if they can borrow a knife to see if they like it more than the given box cutters, and they normally end up liking it and buying their own.

I use my knives out side of work as well... and not for anything in particular, just random things that it's useful for.

More so, I like knives, it's a hobby, of course I'm going to carry them. I tend to rotate my knives.

Nice knife. I do most skinning with various KOA full tangs. Yeah folders get messy. Some I keep pretty. Some I use the hell out of and beat them up, but keep'em clean. I've got more high quality knives than I could use up in 10 lifetimes. When I realized this, I started giving my son one every month or so. Still, all he wants is a fucking $400 balisong (he does flip pretty good).

Not him, but I carry a Kershaw BECAUSE I work a job that is rough on knives. If I drop the thing in a shipping container or otherwise fuck up, I'd rather be out $30 than $200.

im outside im inside all over if weathers bad everything is wet,the tape is cheap way of helping, the glock is in a serpa,the berretta is in a hybrid, tape doesnt hurt clothes at all as its not sandpaper but an elastomer that helps with grip but not rough, most importantly it works for me
