Im a senior in highschool, and have a part time job.
Im looking to buy a new and complete AR - cheap
Something that I can upgrade over time, every month, order a replacement part, or add on to.
I do not want to buy a bunch of different parts and build it myself, I just want a basic cheap AR that I can build up to make it great overtime.
I'm not rich, my family is not rich, I can barely afford lunch everyday at school desu. But I have wanted to buy a AR for some time, so I have been secretly saving up cash for the past 5 months.

I turned 18 on Monday, so you know im not a minor, do not want to get banned.
I was thinking about
http://www.carolinasporting.com/product.dpms-ar-15-oracle-semi-auto-223-rem556-nato-16-301-col-stk-blk
that is available at my local store.

Next time, tripfag so we can keep up with you.
Why is 10mm the superior cartridge
It's not, large caliber handguns are a bad meme unless you are facing bears
>>32934075
It's not, 9x25 Dillon is the masterrace.
Cause it gets me so nutted.
I've made several threads in the past, and whenever the SKS comes into discussion there is always a fair amount of hate. I'm not sure I understand why. It's a milsurp rifle that shoots fair grouping out to 400 yards in the right hands with an intermediate .30 cal round that can be acquired for cheap. It's much more accurate than an AK-47 and just as reliable.
So why all the hate?
>>32934016
I've got to say, the most enjoyable feature of an SKS is sliding 10 rounds in from a stripper.
Completely different experience from a Mosin
>>32934043
I've never shot a Nagant. Lately they're just too expensive to even buy one. I've seen them in excess of $300. There was one I saw for $160, but it had been Bubba'd and I didn't have the money at the time.
>>32934016
>So why all the hate?
Gun snobs who hate anything that doesn't cost at least $700+
I used to have both a WASR and an SKS (still have the SKS) and the SKS out performed my WASR in reliability and accuracy every time.
Alright /k, you and 29 of your best buds pissed off a multitude of natives with your yearly campout. They gave vague threats and are coming in a week. You guys aren't fags so you stick around to fight them. Considering theres 100+ savages with spears and shields and no fear against your group with 15 hunting rifles and Kevin who brought his AR, how do you fortify your riverside campsite?
>>32933949
Minefield and NATO wire.
Would you even need to with all those guns?
>>32933949
Completely unbelievable scenario, as I am a NEET with no friends, thus, I cannot have 29 best buds.
?
>>32933715
Tactically effective at the lowest level, strategically wasteful. Pretty much like later German heavy tanks (arguably they had an influence on them anyway).
Extremely inefficient at anything but pont-defense
>>32933715
pretty garbage desu
low quality steal meant that most were knocked out by spall damage from shots that didn't penetrate, under powered engine and drive train made mobility atrocious, the 76mm cannon was quickly shown it's lack of utility as the war went on and the 152 was hella wasteful, the SU-152 was vastly more effective than the KV series ever could've hoped to have been.
I am interested in picking up a striker fired pistol. I want something conventional and simple with many holster options.
The Candidates are
SIG P320
M&P9
FNS9
No Glock or VP9. I have owned those guns and sold them for various reasons. I am not too much of a trigger snob, and want something that requires very little change out of the box.
>>32933642
The 320 has the best trigger of those 3.
>>32933645
>I am not too much of a trigger snob,
I know, but that isn't a big deal to me. I would mainly like to hear M&P FNS and 320 owners tell me about their guns Pros and cons.
>>32933642
Sig or M&P fit your bill. No support for the FNS9 (even though it is a good gun).
Sig's trigger is better, but mags are more expensive.
How's that manual loading working out, Abrams?
>*Loads automatically*
*gets pierced stem to stern by superior American APFSDS*
>>32933372
Jams. But that's ok. No money to buy new ammo anyway.
>>32933380
this
automatic ejection system
how can T-90 auto loader even compete
Obrez general. Post cool Obrezes
>>32933326
that's silly
>>32933332
elaborate
>>32933349
The lenght of this "obrez's" barrel isn't sufficent for 308
Now imagine for 14.5 mm aka .50 BMG on Slav Steroids
Hi guys, frog here.
Anne Hidalgo, the "beloved" Mayor of Paris had another of her brilliant ideas: she wants to erect a wall of bulletproof glass all around the Eiffel Tower. Yes, I’m not joking.
Now, I was under the impression that was one of the worst ideas of the century, because A) from what I understand no glass is truly 100% bulletproof and B) in case of an attack INSIDE the perimeter, all the people inside can’t scatter and flee. Fish in a barrel and all that. And that is assuming the glass is really bulletproof and not some cheap thick glass that wouldn’t stop even a paper plane on a good day.
What do you think, /k/? yay or nay?
>>32933281
The brown people would probably just drive a car through it.
>>32933281
Nah... I don't want my tax to be throw in things like that, also, it will look horrible, and the view of the eiffel tower is thr only thing that prevent me to goes insane when I do sentinel patrol...
Pants on head retarded. This will only protect people inside the barrier from outside attacks, assuming everyone needs to be screened prior to entry. It would do fuck all against explosives I imagine or any other thing that is not a bullet hitting bulletproof glass.
How does Russia have such robust weapons development capabilities compared to China, despite having 1/10th the population and 1/9th the GDP?
If you look at Russia's characteristics on paper, it should be a miracle that they have much weapons development AT ALL - let alone development in several fields of military tech that appears to be ahead of what the Chinese have produced.
Even during Russia's absolute low-points (like the 1998 financial crisis), they were still introducing new weapons like the Kornet ATGM.
>>32933151
Because they have shit standard for living. Visit Russia and you'll see why, the further you go from the European borders the more you will understand.
>>32933151
Loads of pressure from their rivalry with the U.S.
Nazi scientists.
>>32933151
Because only in the last decade has China become a developed country while Russia has been one since the end of WW2.
What would you guy suggest as a good optic for a 7.62 NATO rifle if I wanted the ability to reach out and touch people as well as be effective at closer ranges.
I suggest google, then buying what you want.
>>32933091
HAMR optic.
>>32933091
>reach out and touch people
shut the fuck up
http://www.iltasanomat.fi/kotimaa/art-2000005080626.html
so are these things any good?
Inb4 expert opinions
>>32933006
They are SPGs with a 155m gun, a diesel engine and enough armour to protect the crew against fragments. What's not to like?
unbelievable firing ranges but sure why not.
finland should have bought the panzerhaubitze 2000 now they're getting stuck with batteries of korean shit
meanwhile the russians are churning out armored artillery like there's no tommorow
What does /k/ usually carry for concealed carry? And whats your bedside pistol?
>MFW neighbor just got robbed by some multicultural Americans while asleep and my across the alleyway neighbor was in the alley working on his car when multiculturalism struck.
>INB4 shotgun you moron
I'm asking about pistols in particular.
shotgun pistol you moron
>>32932945
>>neighbor was in the alley working on his car when multiculturalism struck.
>>when multiculturalism struck.
>>when multiculturalism struck.

>CC
