What's the minimum amount of equipment and personnel needed to bring a city like NYC to its fucking knees?
Is armor always a necessity?
Could you shock & awe NYC?
Nukes haven't been necessary as of yet in any modern conflict.
Lots and lots of water, leave a tap running

>China says India has withdrawn troops from a disputed Himalayan border area, ending a tense stand-off lasting weeks.
>The foreign ministry in Beijing said it was pleased that "trespassing Indian personnel have all pulled back to the Indian side of the boundary".
>India's foreign ministry confirmed troops were "disengaging" at Doklam after agreement between the countries.
>The row began in mid-June when India said it opposed a Chinese attempt to extend a border road on the plateau.
>The area is known as Doklam in India and Donglang in China.
>The news comes a week before a visit to China by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The plateau, which lies at a junction between China, the north-eastern Indian state of Sikkim and the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, is disputed between Beijing and Bhutan. India supports Bhutan's claim over it.
>Earlier on Monday China made clear it would "continue its sovereignty rights" in the area.
Foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said Chinese troops had verified on ground that Indian personnel had withdrawn in the morning.
Holy shit. Now its time to see all the youtube shitposting that Pakis and Chinamen will engage in this week.
Is there any place for the ultra-light, ultra-mobile, ambidextrous Paintball rationale in real combat?
I know from my years of airshit LARPing that while the 30 pound plate carrier and tacticool AR look cool, they totally fuck your mobility. My friends and I have gone more towards a minimal chest rig or battle belt layout, saving weight and keeping shit from slowing us down.
Paintball takes this to a further extreme, with mobility and suppression reigning king over anything else.
I think a new type of soldier, one with a sprinter's physique and not much to carry would be a much more effective fighting force for any kind of close combat.
You're a faggot. I cant believe you wore a plate carrier and railed gun in airsoft. 0/10 tryhard LARP.
Yes, it's called being a fucking taliban. And you're an idiot. Combat isnt the same as speedball.

>30 pound plate carrier
Why would you carry around a plate carrier with plates in it for airshit?
The point of carrying a plate carrier is to...carry plates. Because real bullets kill you.
>>35002209
>30 pound plate carrier
Dude. Medium ESAPIs are like, five and a half pounds apiece. And if you're a civilian who doesn't care about perfect protection, you can get III+ PE plates that are 3lb apiece. Are you wearing AR500?
Could this work?
>highest pressure gas stored in top after firing
>gas keys act as pistons
>Gas fills lower piston keeping the bolt from moving back until the bullet leaves the barrel
>no hole in barrel
That's a really fuck around way of turning an AR into a VG 1 for the only "benefit" being no gas port.
>>35002135
I imagine it would work but it adds an additional mechanism to the firearm which can fail due to wear/defect without much of an added benefit.
>>35002135
Would result in a massive reduction in cartridge power

So, I've been hearing lately about the Russian exoskeleton / kit a lot lately but no specifics. I've heard Ratnik (paтник; "Warrior" IIRC) mostly in reference to general kit such as PPE and load-bearing gear or uniforms, though sometimes in reference to exos. Then, I've heard Ritzar (RITSAR, or RIЦAR?) in reference to their land-warrior like tech integration and load-bearing exoskeleton.
Anyone know anything about these? Info's really hard to find, and I hear stuff ranging from "the exo is simply to help bear weight" to "it's suitable for heavy lifting."
Also, anything on the US' TALOS gear, it seems like none of these are that far along but Russia's been bragging about theirs recently without any specs.

Also, $240 is a decent price for these?
Any recommendations for a level 2 retention holster for pic related with an Inforce APLc? Also holster general thread I guess.
The HK backwards bullet thing was a one time thing. Now you're just being unoriginal. Anyway, check out Safariland. They probably make some

Move over AK-12 and A-545, we have a new kid on the block. The AM-17 is a further development of the MA SBR they showed off last year. Chambered in 5.45x39

Behind it is a variant known as the AMB-17. Chambered in 9x39 and has an integral suppressor
