I absolutely LOVE Berettas. The 92 has been my favorite pistol since back when I was a little kid in the 80's.
I prefer a manual safety, I own a Glock but honestly it kind of freaks me out sometimes when I'm carrying it.

/k/ I am a simple man. I want to buy my first long gun but I don't know where to start. I have no idea what size rounds I should be firing. Part of me loves the idea of a Bushmaster .450 because hunting and shooting at zombies on my lawn from my porch. Part of me likes .308 for that stuff but with bigger magazines. And a lot of me knows 5.56 is the starting point because it's gotta be popular for a reason.
I also was looking at a 300blk rifle to get the best of the 5.56 and .308. Would that be a turbo autist starting gun?
Budget is about 1,200$

The reverse.
They made it a polymer lower and now we're all waiting to see if it turns out to have its own problems.
The 805 has been out since 2011 and although we heard rumors it was all in Czech so it was dismissed as sour grapes.

It wasn't until they already replaced it with the 806 that we had solid confirmation that the 805 was flawed. We won't have confirmation if the 806 doesn't introduce its own problems for a while either.
