are bullpups actually good, or are they a meme?
>>35008885
The concept is good, some guns are actually good in practice and others are not. They are also a meme.

Wow, I didn't know the P90 was so big
>>35008962
what if the aug was actually small?
It is obviously manufacturing and logisitic companies that are the real reason certain countries win or lose wars.
Any idiot can become a decent shot with a rifle after a week of training, but 99% still couldn't program a CNC machine after one week of training.

>>35008873
But what if all your manufacturing and logistics belong to the government?
why didnt the army just pump an odorless, colorless/smokeless, toxic gas into the vietkong tunnel system
>>35008718
cuz chemical warefare is illegal?
would be super effective tho
>>35008738
you know what should be illegal? those tunnel systems and making the worst traps in the fucking world
where do you even define chemical
napalm is a chemical
lead is a chemical

Fun fact, that's basically what flamethrowers do with Carbon Monoxide. I recommend forgotten weapons videos on the m2.

>they say how much i got
> $200
>laugh me out of the store
>look online
>maybe ill just get a pistol
>find really cheap ruger mk iis
>illegal to get them
>everything is too expensive
why the fuck are guns so expensive its so unfair
how do i make a shotgun into a rifle like thoserussians did
>>35008353
Did your dumb ass consider a $200 gun?
>Get electric drill
>Get 19mm reaming bit
>Run through barrel a few times at either end
>Use slugs in it
Congrats, your shotgun is now a rifle.

there isnt one
From a SHTF perspective, I've been trying to minimize the number of different calibers in order to stockpile. Currently hoarding 5.56, 9mm, and 12GA since they seem to be the most plentiful, common calibers in the US.
Amount that I'm willing to invest in new guns is really the key factor, but would it make sense to also include some meme calibers that may not be as plentiful, but would be sought out less than others, or am I better off owning multiple guns in the same caliber?
>>35008213
I personally would skip 9mm, add .22LR and .308 and reloading supplies. I'm not a big PREPPER guy but if SHTF I don't see much use in a handgun, if you've got a pistol carbine then that would probly work fine anyway.
stock up on 22lr. lowest common denominator and due to its price and small size, it's the easiest to stockpile. makes a great currency after SHTF.
>>35008289
I think reloading supplies would be useful, too, after the stockpiles of factory ammo get used up. Diversity is strength lole!!
>>35008213
Just stockpile the chamberings you like the most.
ITT: use 3 items that are mentioned by the user above to make a weapon. List your weapon, how you would make it, and 3 other random objects for the person below.

Forgot to mention, use a Hammer, a soda can, and a piece of tape
Alien
>>35008089
a shitty spiked hammer, cut one of the cycle ends off fold in half then try and make it into a triangle shape and then tape the crap out of it.
a bottle of 90 proof vodka, Styrofoam food containers a gas operated leaf blower that just broke down.

is this actually good or should i just buy a really cheap navy pistol or 58 remingreming
Just get a muzzle loader or the bp revolver.
Inline rifles are more for hunting.
And get it from anywhere other than buds.

why are mig helicopters so easy to shot down?
are attack helis just a meme since a single infantry can take it down?
>>35007963
Any helicopter can be shot down easily if it flies low enough and the enemy has tools to take it down. Be it manpads or machine guns.

Did the pilot tried to use flares?

>woman shoots abusive husband
>several times
>with a .22 revolver
>he just strolls off and takes a bus
Why do people pretend .22 works "in a pinch "?
Because shot placement matters and so does shooting until the threat is no longer a threat.
Also adrenaline is one hell of a drug
>>35007889
It made the abusive husband leave. So it worked
is there anything i can do to make my 22 out of a rifle more powerful?
can i infuse them with hiv or cancer? can i make them small bombs that literally explode when they penetrate skin
Turned 18 a fee months back, just realized I am at the age for a gun. After a safety course, I will be getting my own gun. I have a job and make enough money but I'd still like to know about the price. Does anyone recommend any pistols for a first time gun owner? Only shot a rifle and a pistol when I was like 4, so not a lot of experience. I'd be using it for self defense because there are lot of druggies in my town who rob houses and mug people, occasionally get violent. Also how good is a USP?
Oh and I live in Oregon, don't know if that changes anything.
>>35007881
Try them before you buy them.
>>35007885
Oregon is progun enough
Just inform yourself first about concealed carry laws and gun laws in general, try out different calibers, think about when you could use your gun and which one would be appropiate, watch some Paul Harrell and so on

I'm thinking about buying 1894 Krag for $450. It seems to be in really good condition, beautiful gun. The guy at the gun store doesn't seem to know much about it. What are thoughts? Is it worth it, and what should I be looking out for with these rifles?
My only concern is cost and availability of ammo, but it gives me the excuse to invest in reloading equipment.
M1898*
>>35007515
If it's not sporterized then $450 is a fantastic price for a Model 1898 Springfield. Rifle or carbine?
If it's a US gun, then it should have the best looking finish of any US service rifle you have ever seen... unless buba has sanded it down in the past.
the sling mounts tend to freeze in place.
extremely smooth bolt, would like to say because of the limited amount of locking surface (no idea why they are).
fun as fuck to reload.
Is the tp9sf any good/reliable for the price? I hear mixed reviews about it and people meme on this gun all the time. I've got some spare money and I want to purchase a good budget pistol that isn't a glock or god forbid
>Hi-point
>>35007428
It's cheap and it works. I plan on getting one as a truck gun.
I hear good things, i shot my buddys SA version. Good gun. There are other budget pistols out there as well. I got this walther creed for 350 brand new
