I just impulse purchased a CZ97B. I have big hands and am 6'2". Did I fuck up? Does anybody own one? Personal experiences?
Also CZ general
>>35006429
I've read that CZ97's have issues feeding hollowpoints but I don't own any CZ's because of how unergonomic they are for me.
>>35006429
its ECKSBAWKS HEUG but so pretty.
its like throttling a steel horse cock to me....never shot one tho
>>35006429
Great gun, one of my favorites. The grip is a bigger then the 75 but still feels great in my hand and I'm not that big of a guy. You should be fine.
>>35006482
Never personally seen any feeding issues.
/tg/ was wondering.

What is the most /k/ 40k faction. And if you could take exactly one gun (or other weapon) from 40k what would you take?
>>35006140
Orks. Basically Johnny Labs pops up in their civilization every now and again and he makes them weapons and tech to fuck up the first place they find. Plus when SHTF they die happy, guns blazing
>>35006167
And their guys are called Kommandos. Its not up for debate really
Depend what you're going on. If you're going by most fans, we have some pencil-necked virgins making a thread twice a week about whether a Bolter is possible, so Space Marines presumably. If you're going by aesthetics, probably IG, since there are like 40 different looks inspired by various armies and eras from history. If you're basing it off of the "peace through superior firepower" ethos common here, then Tau. Possibly orks as well, but that's more /diy/
What a waste of money.
You not landing on your mother's face all those years ago was a waste of money.
>>35006135
"What a waste of money"
-OP's parents as they held the newly spawned OP
Need a nice affordable level 3 bulletproof/resistant vest. Anyone got anything?
>>35006103
IOTV with ESAPI plates all around.
If you're not autistic a plate carrier with a front plate and maybe a back plate will work.
>>35006134
Its gonna be for an armored transit job, i would like to be able to wear it under a button shirt. got another idea?
>>35006103
Phone books. Cheap too so you cn shoot em all you want
my 1911 is really plain. what am I missing out on?
>>35006055
Being relevant.
>>35006055
Nothing. The extra features on a 1911 are unnecessary.
>>35006058
Not an argument.
Alright /k/ I have 1k neetbux saved up. Do I buy a FAL or an AK?
FAL
>Real fn nato
>Muh proper battle rifle
>Muh aestetic
>Gives me a boner
AK
>Also aestetic
>Cheaper to feed
>More aftermarket capability
>Can get a better AK for the money compared to the fall
Help me /k/
>>35005919
Buy an education. Plumbing, HVAC, Electrician, Machinist, Drafter, Welder...
>>35005919
>>35005931
that
But if you must, fal all the way. ak is shit in comparison.
>>35005931
But funs....
Can we agree Paul Harrell is the Alton Brown of gun channels?
>>35005862
as long as you mean the post Good Eats hardass contest host Alton Brown, then yes. If you mean goofy animations food science, then no.
>>35005862
>paranoid of cops
>has totally killed people
>marine instructor
he's pretty based
>>35005862
I wish Alton Brown had a gun channel with all the food-tier science.

I would feign compliance and when the old dildo collecter holstered his firearm, drawn mine and blown his brains into the pavement and emptied enough hardball into his skull to be sure he died, then set fire to his squad car after securing his shitty glock 19 rusty belt throwaway.
>>35005803
I haven't been in that situation, but:
>see man walk up
>gun pointed at me
>can't hear what he's saying
Prolly assume I'm getting robbed or hijacked. And then go to the best solution I had at the time, be it fleeing or deadly force. Frankly, that cop is lucky he's alive.
>>35005915
Most people who conceal tend to have much better situational awareness. That being said, this could have happened to anyone as the guy is wearing a helmet and has a loud engine running between his legs.
In the great state of Texas, I would have shot that fucker the minute I could because he didn't identify himself. That cop is a gigantic fucking idiot for drawing on a stranger like that. HE put everyone at danger by doing that. What a fucking tool, christ almighty. Makes me rage.\
>also here's some Swift Pain Stoppers in use
8 years ago, I lost my right pinky finger when it got crushed. My ring finger, while still attached, can't be moved at the top joint. I also got bit by a copperhead on the other hand, I can't move my left index finger at the top joint. I'm right handed, none of this affects my daily functioning. Would I be rejected from the military? I'm in college right now, hoping to get an commission in the US military (preferably USMC). Would I still be able to do this? Pic related, it's my right hand.
Will post pics of my other hand if requested.
>>35005684
Yeah you'd get rejected.
Only one way to find out. Go to your recruiter's office. If they give you some shit, ask if there's any way you can get a waiver. They may like the enthusiasm
Would a TR3B defeat an f22 in a dogfight? could any plane hang with it? Why are they still such a secret?
probably
>>35005652
I would have to kill you if I told you sempa i
its actually called the TR3C. i know this because I read it on the internet 20 years ago
seriously though
>vectored rocket engines where the lights are supposed to be
>on a fucking silent craft
What's /k/'s consensus on literal Aircraft Carriers? Soviets did it before World War 2, why can't Americans do it today?
>>35005515
Because why?
The reasons the Soviets did it (other than to look cool) is to extend operational range of small biplanes like the I-153. Now that job is fulfilled by tankers and drop tanks not to mention the fact modern fighters and interceptors already have insane ranges compared to 30s counterparts.
>>35005515
They are unnecessary and stupid. They about as practical as a Battletech Mech.

I found a poor enfield at a local pawn shop that needed some loving. It was 250 with the bayonet. What you think /k/?

What is the contemporary version of the Mike Vinning Operating Aesthetic?
Or is the Dockers + tucked in button up look /timeless/?
>>35004956
Timeless.
>>35004956
Its timeless, but with the industry boom folks are going more with the "I think that guy over there with the Mechanix gloves is a cop" aesthetic. If we're talking plainclothes
