Best artist with a STD if the best artist of all time
Rembrandt did not have venereal disease as far as I know. He did, however, paint the portrait of someone with syphillis and took ni qualms in painting their collapsed nose.

How often artists fuck their model?
>>2748683
At least once. It's easier to find girls who are dtf than those who are willing to pose for you without anything in return.
>>2748683
I like the photo.
>>2748683
if you're a student/amateur it's not easy to find people who will pose for you.
it's easier to have someone you've already screwed, than it is to find some crazy, narcissistic, liberal arts student.
If you're poor you usually just take life drawing classes at the local community college.
If you have gallerybux you can hire professional models who aren't asqueroso con greaso.
I've hired escorts a few times to pose for me, but it's not worth it honestly.
If you have a chad personality like Jeremy Mann, then you end up exclusively using girls you've fucked before as models. pretty cache tbchwyfam
Hey guys,
I've been thinking about going to an artschool after HS (my last year now, i'm 18). But i'm not sure if they will accept me and i have no other choices than studying something artsy. What do you think of pic related and also post about your experiences with going to an artschool.
You will waste your money and time and leave with a worthless degree and you will not even be close to have marketable skills.
It might be more or less cultural marxism indoctination, but even if it's not, it's far from being destined to form professional artists.
>>2749660
Isn't that a little bit exxagerated? I was thinking about Graphic Design. In my country the government spends lots of money on culture.
>>2749654
it's got a good base in graphics, but no symmetry, no composition, smudgy dirty shading and the face's proportions are fucked. Read Loomis, keep going bro!
What the fuck am I doing wrong? I am trying to get a feeling of 3D objects by drawing them. I am trying to draw cubes all day now, yet often I just get the angles wrong and I don't know why. What should I do?
Pick related, my most recent drawing, tried to dismangle my cube a little bit. And it looks shit
Picture from reference object. Should get the perspective I had when drawing it about right
Drawing small and chickenscratch - that's the biggest tell-tale of no line confidence at all. Draw big. Ghost your lines before you draw them.
There is no magic bullet here. Just focus on straight lines and keep drawing boxes. Make sure you warm up every day with lines and circles (I was going to say boxes, but you're literally at that stage right now).
Don't make your own thread for this next time.
^I wrote all of this without seeing your ref. Read Keys to Drawing, and you're cured, good god

Thanks, will do
What kinda music do you listen to while creating art? What kind do you find the best? Specific artists and groups would be helpful for all.
I'm suprised someone hasn't made a thread like this.
I personally listen to a lot of vapor-wave esk stuff, chillhop or pop. Something relaxing.
Examples being Nujabes, Joji, DJ Okawari, etc.

You'll think im trolling but something about the scream and the low quality is kind of relaxing and soothing.
>>2747629
Yes, I do think you're trolling. But if that's what you like, other people might like it too I guess. So thanks for the submission, even if it is.. Unexpected.
What does /ic/ think about these?
(not my artwork)
I would want to start making something similar but i just cant get the right feel

Keep going Anon, you have potential. 10/10.
How do you cope with basic needs anon?
Do you live off NEETbux or somehow find time to git gud at your primary work?
I'm asking because my own happy NEET days are coming to an end, but I can't get money from art yet, no one would buy that awful shit.
I'm leeching off my parents and they are constantly telling me I'm never going to make it so I have to find real normie work and forget about art.
But art is the only thing that keeps me sane and gives me purpose, I cannot just throw it away, it always ended badly. Last time I was wagecuck, it ate all my time, fucked up my progress, will to live, soul and ended up in hospital in exchange for small amount of green devil paper.
I believe I have almost perfect curriculum set, all I need is to survive two years to get on my feet and start working with my buddy who is currently junior iOS developer-in-training.
Unlike him though I don't know any form of wageslavery that will let me learn and get paid for it at the same time without fucking me up.
What are my options besides obvious rope? Please do share.
>>2749846
>find shitjob
>save money
>go into NEET mode
>repeat again
That's it.
>>2749846
Work part time. You'll work 2-3 times out of the week and make some money without delving into the dreaded 40+ hours a week wageslavery. Spend the rest of your days off drawing. No more video games, anime, or dicking around. The majority of your time should be spent drawing.
>inb4 burnout
Burnout is just a meme used on ic to scare people into quitting, if you can't practice something as simple as drawing while only working a part time job, then there's no hope for you.
>I believe I have almost perfect curriculum set
which is?
Think of it this way OP; if you get a shit job you can put a portion of your earnings to art education. Essentially funding your career path allowing you to get books and videos not uploaded on the usual spots that will help you get ahead.
>Unlike him though I don't know any form of wageslavery that will let me learn and get paid for it at the same time without fucking me up
There are none. You have to get a shit job. And with no degree your options are limited. Art is a deadend for a reason.
If you say that you achieved x or you are good at x, you are expected to show your work. If you can't deliver, don't do anything in the first place.
Let's be honest with each other.
What is this thread even meant to be op?
If you say that you achieved faggotry or you are good at sucking dick, you are expected to show your work. If you can't deliver, don't do anything in the first place.
Let's be honest with each other.
Op, do you know that you're on an anonymous image board? You do know that right?
Sup /ic/.
I'm not an artist. I haven't touched the idea of drawing since my 5 year old crayon scribbling days, but I just now decided to sketch out Dio Brando's Face on a piece of paper.
Should I even bother to learn to draw or am I a lost cause? Give me tips and shit.
>>2747007
DIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
idgaf dude draw if you want to get good and start with the sticky
>>2747007
Do you want to draw?
Do you enjoy drawing?
Then keep drawing. Don't seek validation from a group of unidentifiable spergs.
>>2747012
Well here's the thing. I really want to draw, but I don't enjoy drawing at the moment because I *can't* draw.
I want to learn to draw in so I can sketch out quick ideas I have.
I'm wondering if it's even worth it.
Where do I go to find me some top tier art? I love to browse drawings and paintings but all the social media seem to be filled with crap, with few exceptions. So where to now?
I know about deviantart, but finding good stuff has become rather difficult there too
ArtStation, Tumblr, Twitters.
>>2749782
Buy books. Big boy with high taste like you should have money, right? And there is Aivazovsky exhibition right now in Tretyakov Gallery. It's top tier
